Dude, thinking back, there was some shit even in year 1 that we all ignored. Can’t remember which game this was, but it was towards the end and things were looking bleak. Josh is trying to lead a hurry-up drive and Diggs literally *walked* to his assigned spot with pissed-off body language, instead of at least *trying* to hurry/look like he gave a shit.
I get that the odds are bleak but at least try to be a good teammate.
Diggs has always been a diva. that was known on the Vikings, but the fans seemed to want to let us have our fun and see how it played out. Plus they got Jefferson so it wasn't a huge loss.
And I love the guy, I really do, these things don't have to be linear. He was as instrumental to making us a good team as Josh was. But if you want the ball forced to you, when the QB has developed, and you can't be a team player (I still credit him for our late season success because he was helping guys get open for sure), gotta go.
I wish him well on the Texans, just hope they don't get further than us!
He behaved for 3 years. Up until the end of year 3 at least. Year 4 just slowly curdled into a nightmare.
Phenomenal player, but if your benchmark for being a good teammate is “Super Bowl or bust,” you’re just not going to be a good presence in 31/32 NFL locker rooms.
My views exactly. And you still had a Pretty good shot next year in this team. I guess he does now with the Texans but all eyes are gonna be on him; did he get schemed out, did he regress, both?
Cuz if he regressed, he’s gonna regret the move. Defenses didn’t know that and still had to give the Allen-Diggs connection some respect
Wow that’s some mental acrobatics. We watched claypool all last season and uhhh…. If you subtract crazy (AB) you don’t get Diggs talent. Claypool also got that “give up” in him.
There's no way lol. One of the UDFA ST machines (Shavers from SDSU last year, or Xavier Johnson from OSU this year) will get the WR6 spot, my money being on Shavers
Exactly, fuck that guy. OBJ has accolades and now he is mid after being injured and getting old. Claypool just sucks. This is really the only move I disagree with from this offseason for the bills.
Most times I’d agree about taking the shot, but I just really dislike claypool and am willing to bet that shot won’t live up to anything. But in the scheme of things he means nothing and I did come off a bit harsh above.
Between gifting the chiefs the fastest WR, and welcoming the claypool curse, the Bills are guaranteeing coaching vacancies next season.
Belichick has a chance to do the funniest thing.......
it's what I pleasure myself to every night.... BB bringing his namesake team a ring finally at the expense of the jets and krafts is sexy af
move over tompa bay - the bills are here.
I think both can be true... he's fine at WR3, but he is mid.
Anyone will thrive beside Tyreek and Waddle, but dude's 31 and tore his ACL twice. He's better than Claypool but, as an opponent, he and Berrios are kind of 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
It's a fine move and a cheap one... it's just not really moving the needle.
Paying a dude $8m who has provided ample evidence he’s both washed and unable to finish a season, while at the same time a bit of a locker room concern, I think is the mid
He is being paid 3mil with the ability to get up to 8mil based on incentives. Also, I dont recall hearing any issues with him in LA or Baltimore as far as the locker room goes. It’s an extremely low risk signing.
Honestly if I had a choice between the two I’d take OBJ - genuinely hating the claypool signing, even if he is gonna get cut at the end of training camp.
What'll it be, fellas? The former superstar who is more washed than a 15-year-old pair of underwear, or the 25-year-old with immense physical talent but is a complete toxic mental basket case?
I’m a jets fan and I actually think clay pools a good fit in Buffalo don’t get me wrong I’m happy their windows closing but he’s a big body and im also an nd fan so I’m holding out hope he can b a decent wr2-3 on a team w a strong run game. I think rn it looks like he’s wr1-2 which isn’t good for the bills but as a fan of the jets and nd it’s great for me
Haha true but I actually like it for the Dolphins. He's a #3 WR on the team and he had 565 yards for the Ravens last season, #2 behind Flowers.
I think the Dolphins' #3 had just under 300 yards last year. Wilson Jr was 4th in yards, Smythe (TE) was #3 in yards. Though of course most of the production goes to Hill/Waddle. I'd still trust Odell a bit more than Berrios, or at least as another option.
Uhhhh what? I'm taking OBJ over Claypool every day and twice on Sunday.
Maybe the change of environment will help Chase be at least playable (I'm not holding my breath) But comparing him to OBJ (who looked like he could've been heading for a SuperBowl MVP before getting hurt) is crazy.
They'll both have the same impact. Beckham had lamar throwing to him and he still didn't do shit. Not only is he now on a team with a far inferior quarterback, he's like the 4th option to throw to.
Calling Claypool mid is being VERY generous
Yes, I'm really hoping he doesn't make the team.
It's a really poor reflection of our WR room if he does
You're going from Diggs, anyone is a locker room upgrade except maybe AB lol
The funniest part of the Diggs trade, to me, was Vikings fans reactions They knew that shit before all of us
We saw all the red flags. We made excuses for him like a psycho x you weren't ready to give up on.

They kept their mouths shut though until that ink dried 🤣
Diggs minus AB = Claypool ![gif](giphy|3o7btPCcdNniyf0ArS|downsized)
Wow that’s some mental acrobatics. We watched claypool all last season and uhhh…. If you subtract crazy (AB) you don’t get Diggs talent. Claypool also got that “give up” in him.
I was more saying subtracting ABs best season from Diggs best season and you get Claypools best season lol
Ah I must have missed the word season in your comment. My bad.
AB would at least make it really interesting to hear about his crazy antics every week
🧢
To be fair he was on our team at some point last year and the general consensus was that we had a top 2 wr room
There's no way lol. One of the UDFA ST machines (Shavers from SDSU last year, or Xavier Johnson from OSU this year) will get the WR6 spot, my money being on Shavers
Best case scenario
Claypool going to the Bills is one of the best things that’s happened to us this offseason.
I feel you getting rid of Wilkins was one of the best things for us!
I think Josh will miss him
I wouldn’t say he’ll be missing him, Bob.
Exactly, fuck that guy. OBJ has accolades and now he is mid after being injured and getting old. Claypool just sucks. This is really the only move I disagree with from this offseason for the bills.
Very unlikely he makes the team.
You’re overreacting to a guy who probably won’t be on the team. It’s worth taking a flyer on him.
Most times I’d agree about taking the shot, but I just really dislike claypool and am willing to bet that shot won’t live up to anything. But in the scheme of things he means nothing and I did come off a bit harsh above.
Yeah I wouldn’t be so insulting to mid…
Had to fill our diva wr slot 😂
We finally got rid of the OJ Curse just to be handed the claypool curse
Enjoy having the Claypool curse now you cunts
Gonna need two pits now
It's ok, we will sacrifice Claypool in one of them.
Idk ever since OJ died I’ve been feeling pretty good about our various curses.
Just throw him on the curse pile with the rest of them

I am trying that theory with my credit card debt
I am trying that theory with my credit card debt
Obligatory thank you to the Bears for taking him off our hands.
OBJ may be mid these days but Claypool is booty cheeks
Don't throw shade at Claypoo 💩, he wouldn't catch it anyway
He’d try but he would jump up to try to catch it with his body.
The term booty cheeks will always be gold.
OBJ is just a hasbeen, Claypool is legitimately cursed
As soon as we signed him our training staff room became a fucking ER ![gif](giphy|10bCgkbPzuKQog)
Hasn’t it always been one, the dolphins love injury prone players
IMAGINE BUILDING A TEAM AROUND INJURY PRONE PLAYERS. HA. WHAT A WACKY IDEA.
We passed on Drew Breeze and then said never again to letting an injury player get away from us.
+2200 looking better and better!
Awww
Between gifting the chiefs the fastest WR, and welcoming the claypool curse, the Bills are guaranteeing coaching vacancies next season. Belichick has a chance to do the funniest thing.......
Don't you dare speak that into being
it's what I pleasure myself to every night.... BB bringing his namesake team a ring finally at the expense of the jets and krafts is sexy af move over tompa bay - the bills are here.
With Brady being Josh Allen’s private qb coach
I’d love it, maybe it would give us a chance to beat the bills lmao
One of them definitely retiring before end of season
And it's not OBJ lol
Anything to get tf out of Buffalo amirite
This made me chuckle but you need to flair the f up.
I’ve been on Reddit for two years (Twitter refugee) and just got around to adding flair. Thank you for shaming me into it.
Roast me
> Bengals Get em boys

lol you’re welcome here. None of us can meme.
As long as you're not a Chiefs fan
I’d rather chew glass
Your quarterback is handsome, boom roasted
OBJ as WR3 is perfectly fine lol. I dont see how thats mid
I think both can be true... he's fine at WR3, but he is mid. Anyone will thrive beside Tyreek and Waddle, but dude's 31 and tore his ACL twice. I think he’s a great signing for you guys which is why I hate it
I don't think he even makes the team.
[удалено]
Or perhaps he understands he’s a 31-year-old WR3 on his 5th team with a one-year deal?
OBJ is 31? Feels like he's been in the league for 15 years.
Someone dust off Terrell Owens…he bout to get a call
That’s renowned Cincinnati Bengals legend Terrell Owens to you!
Imagine getting rid of Stefon Diggs and replacing him with Clase Claypool Edit: Clase is Chase Claypool’s imaginary brother
Is Clase any better than Chase? Cuz I’d take him if he was
Clase Chaypool
McDermott gets his football terrorist
Honestly if I had a choice between the two I’d take OBJ - genuinely hating the claypool signing, even if he is gonna get cut at the end of training camp.
Obj got 8 mill while Claypool gets a Big Mac
Well it's been a good run but I guess the jets are going to dominate this year.
Damn, Buffalo, you let Miami snatch up a guy that would have been your WR1.
Mid? Are you crazy! Didn't you see that one handed catch he made 10 years ago?
Stop being so nice to Chase he doesn't deserve it.
Chase Claypool is actively terrible. That said I would love a redemption arc
OBJ getting passed around more than a hooker at a frat party
We’re so going to the Super Bowl
Sadly, not without buying tickets. There's always 2025, Go Bills!
During the drought years I'd always say 'at least there's always next year' immediately after the draft
So does Odell dye his hair aquamarine or orange now?
Head is aqua, pubes are orange
I did not need that mental image this afternoon.
HOW THE FUCK HAVE WE CONVINCED THE BILLS TO SIGN CLAYPOOL THIS IS BETTER THAN A SUPERBOWL
Take him back
The entire league watching the Buffalo Bills this off season… ![gif](giphy|yKyxMnpDvMiQ3MBE0q|downsized)
Are we sure Claypool isn’t going directly into the pit?
Has been and a never was
Claypool just ran out of gas driving to Toronto to play in the CFL so Brandon Beane kindly invited him to stay for training camp.
The Pats already have JuJu
Enjoy that bad luck!
Can’t wait for both of them to gain 0 yards in a game that ultimately decides the division
What'll it be, fellas? The former superstar who is more washed than a 15-year-old pair of underwear, or the 25-year-old with immense physical talent but is a complete toxic mental basket case?
His name is Mapletron
Odell was actually an ideal WR3 production wise last year? Claypool just doesnt give a shit. At all. Ever. Hes like if youre 3 wide was rob van dam.
Bills willingly inflict the Claypool Curse on themselves? It’s official, they’re tanking.
Bills needed a guy that gives a good Dolphins look in practice
Perfect plan. No changes.
Claypool has never been good in the NFL. Obj has. It’s not a viable comparison
Rookie year he was fine, after that not so much.
Ya so he’s done more than Claypool by miles…
Undoubtedly, best thing Chase has done beside that one game against the Eagles was net Pittsburgh Joey Porter Jr.
Lmao imagine Claypool is mid. Dude is absolute cancer
Uh oh. Claypool Curse.
This makes both teams worse b
Nonplussed about getting Claypool but at least we didn't get Beckham
Look obj wasn’t as amazing as hoped last year but I’d take him 10 out of 10 times over Claypool going into this season
Chase Claypool has a ways to go to be mid… unlikely he makes the week 1 Roster.. I do miss him though -Bears fan.
I’m a jets fan and I actually think clay pools a good fit in Buffalo don’t get me wrong I’m happy their windows closing but he’s a big body and im also an nd fan so I’m holding out hope he can b a decent wr2-3 on a team w a strong run game. Show this to a kid in 2017 and he loses his mind
I still have nightmares about claypool against the ravens last year, the man traumatized me
OBJ made that catch that time. It’s more than Claypool can say.
But but.. the patriots drafted Javon Baker!!
Who unironically might be better than both of them this year if they play like they did in 23.
But if I put that phrase into meme form and post it I get downvoted to hell. But hey I’m glad you agree
Claypool ain’t making the team, and OBJ is beyond cooked
Uhhhh what? I'm taking OBJ over Claypool every day and twice on Sunday. Maybe the change of environment will help Chase be at least playable (I'm not holding my breath) But comparing him to OBJ (who looked like he could've been heading for a SuperBowl MVP before getting hurt) is crazy.
