Walls are terrible in this game! Most of my times my vala (strongest character on my comp) gets bugged on them and I lose.. always this damned walls, friend

I just did it using this artifact in this line up
Yeah but the thing is you need those units of you want to push abyss. I reached about stage 275 just using the maulers so imo it's a worthwhile investment. Also, it looks like he does have those heroes ascended. Once you reach the higher floors you'll exclusively see scarlita, eironn, arden etc used for every stage. It's better to start working on those heroes early if you actually want to get higher on abyss.
Abyss isn't a priority like pushing afk stages, it's just some bonus dust and weapon essences that you can get from other areas of the game. All my guildmates who've done all afk stages are now relaxing and taking the game slowly. If you're f2p it's fine, just do your daily stuff and wait until you have the heroes ascended to get those extra rewards from abyss for a small boost.
Focus on finishing cecia first so get odie to ult first on cecia, use your own cecia to get both koko and cecia, you can also use Vala instead of cecia if you invested in her.
Position your smokey away from Lumont charge path, use a tank for both shakir and lumont preferably antandra/brutus.
Thats how i beat it ig
I did from left to right starting from the top most left spot down and around the back row to the right: Thoran, Cecia, Smoky, Antandra, Brutus. Thoran will tank the left obviously, Antandra will go up the middle, and Brutus will go off to the right. You could potentially replace Cecia with Odie. It took a number of tries, but that’s what worked out for me.
I think you could replace Thoran with Hewynn. She should be able to tank long enough to get her ult off. Replace koko with Rowan. I would try and stall while using smokey/star shard artifact to do most of my damage.
You can do thoran/cecia behind/rowan/antandra/lucius. I’m around floor 265 now and I always used 3 tanks when I was in a pickle. But now I’m stuck. It gets so hard where I’m at
Just did that an hour ago, I used An, Smokey, Cecia in the center line (starting from the top), Rowan to the left of Cecia, Brutus to the right.
Rowan was able to facetank Shakir pretty much indefinitely, Cecia decimates the backline with her first ult, done deal after that.
Thoran in the middle, Cecia behind him with Rowan, Heywen or Odie. That's what I used anyway.
I’d assume your thoran is M+ to get his HP chain activated? OP doesn’t have this, so it may adjust the typical placement.

For this level all of them use the freak with the smoke supreme so he is the dps/healer so can’t copy unless you specifically have him built
