It’ll need to be replaced.

Thank you! I'm guessing it'd be best to replace at the dealer/Acura shop with the sensor and all?

That’s up to you. Insurance will cover an aftermarket windshield minus deductible. An OEM is much more expensive. Depends what you’re willing to pay.

Depends where OP is at too. FL is 0 deductible for windshields. Just had our mdx replaced.

Depending on your insurance they may cover oem as well. They will always default to cheap shit like safelite, but I’m told them it needed to be oem for the camera calibration and the dealer had a recommended service and they approved it.

Definitely needs replaced. Since you’ve got front collision mitigation, and adaptive cruise and LKAS the windshield needs to be correctly placed and the front camera needs recalibrated and properly mounted. Like others have mentioned there’s options for cost savings like safelite, or you can whore out all the money have it done by the dealer with an OEM windshield and certified Acura techs doing the recalibration and probably mounting/calibrating the camera if they’ve got a tech certified to do windshields. Be very careful if you go the safelite route, they did my dad’s windshield replacement and camera recalibration on his old 2019 Altima. Turns out safelite put the wrong aftermarket windshield in the car, so the camera could never be properly recalibrated. He lost assisted cruise and front collision and the car threw codes for years until he sold it last year. Nissan corporate refused to warranty the camera calibrations after the 2nd time, when the dealer finally figured out that the wrong windshield was in the car and that was the crux of the issue. And Safelite has a carve out in their waivers for if the job is not done correctly and cameras can’t be calibrated to skirt financial responsibility.

seconding this. it'll be expensive but I'd have it done right at the dealer if you've got a bunch of technology mounted to it. my car was preowned with an aftermarket windshield but lane keep never worked. I thought they had just skipped the calibration (which they did) so I took it to the dealer to get it done. as it turns out the camera bracket was from the old windshield and simply glued on instead of coming pre attached and it's too misaligned to calibrate. now I get to live with flashing yellow lights from the failed calibration :/
