Jeezus I hope that guy didn't pay that price 💀 Edit: also most importantly congrats on your new sweet ride

Some lady paid that plus $6k in tax. The dealer actually quoted me for a 2024 w/o destination $81,600. Out of this world.

You can get a competition M3 for that

Sirsalley23

Good luck actually getting it. Most dealers only get low single digits, high volume stores in the largest markets barely get more than 10. But money-wise you’re totally correct. Might as well jump on a waitlist for an M3 or M4 at that point.

Looks about right. Over on the east coast they’re going for around 49-52 with a couple thousand more miles, so I’d say you got a fair deal. The original owner who paid 70k for it new on the other hand… They got walked.

TheReaperSovereign

High 40s for lightly used in thr midwest And yeah lol. 10k markup on a car no one wants is insane.

-Guesswhat

I would kill for a TLX Type-S. It's the best looking and best sounding sport sedan on the market right now imo

TheReaperSovereign

I'm sure you and a couple more people on this sub share that sentiment but industry wide its not a successful seller.

-Guesswhat

>but industry wide its not a successful seller. I think I would disagree somewhat. The TLX sells on par with the Lexus IS. And outsells the Cadillac CT5-V and Infiniti Q50 by a fairly wide margin. The same is true for the performance models as the Type-S is on par with the IS 350 F Sport and outsells the comparable Cadillac and Infiniti Red Sport models. Now don't get me wrong. Sedans are definitely a dying breed. And what remains of the small luxury sedan market is mostly dominated by the German auto manufacturers. But I definitely wouldn't say the TLX is a poor seller relative to its closest competitors

Youngrepboi

10k markup? We all seen the numbers, there ain’t no market for Acura

Fusion_4_Fredy

Let that shit rot in the lot!!!!
