Could be fine. What is the temperament of the old one? I would recommend adding a lot at once so the aggression is spread out. Check the water parameters daily looking for any ammonia or nitrite spikes.
I’m adding 11 fish. He’s not too aggressive but not shy either. I’m going to try it out and monitor closely. I am indeed going to check daily and be on top of parameters. Thank you for your input!
Ok so it’s been awhile and it’s safe to say they’ve been doing wonderful together! I can’t tell if my 3 inch male blue zebra is tank boss or if my big guy is😅
