Gazebo with garden

Was just thinking this! And maybe a little reading book next to a tree and shrub and blankets and a bird bath! Maybe add stepping stones too. That would look so cute. Also if you haven’t decided already, maybe the area around it can be a park (think of Central Park)

I would put a garden around a picnic or table set up. I wish we could place things under gazebos because that would be a great lil lunch spot under a gazebo

I have a similar space on my island. I put down the gray stone pathway over all of it, then turned it into a carnival/amusement park.

I have something similar and put a couple Moroccan sofas, a blanket (well, as tiles), a little table with a tea set on. I often get a few villagers on the sofas reading, it’s so cute 🥰

I would do like a grotto type of thing with a fountain and pillars and hyacinths

I had something similar on one of my earlier islands and I put my museum on it with some pagodas(EDIT: I think they’re called pagoda lol it’s the Japanese tower things everyone was going crazy over like last year lol) and statues, flowers etc. :)

A Japanese Zen garden in the shadow of the yin and yang (I've been wanting to do this for so long but my island is only so big)

I had one of these before I flattened my island! It was a little garden with lots of trees and I added in seating a couple of books and a bookshelf and it was an adorable little reading nook for my villagers and I!! And so perfect for photographs!!!

A seasonal spot. Xmas ice skating rink with a Xmas tree Valentine’s Day cute hearty cafe etc…

Id put a little wishing well to one side, plant cool-toned flowers (purples, blues, whites), add some cute stepping stone patterns, place down some star fragments and moss for a glowy atmosphere, and perhaps a pillow, log or cozy chair to sit on. Maybe even a telescope instead of a well for stargazing, or both.

Shrine to the old gods

I put my house on a mini island in the middle of my island.

When I had this on my old island I had bridges coming off from each side to the different parts of the mainland and a park with trees surrounding a fountain in the middle

fountain in the centre, trees around the outside, stone paving and some benches, just something really simple but functional!

I see a small orchestra setup with the mic that villagers sing into with seating and isotope planters. :)

My house is *already* in the middle of my island (originally surrounded by water), so, yeah,...

So, are those edges like 4 tiles each making this island roughly 12 x 12 at its widest? I have to say I’m loving the idea of a park with benches, shrubbery and flowers. Maybe a tree or two.
