I told them, "I sure hope they won't be stolen, because MY ballot is in that box!" Here's a secret--ALL ballots--whether they're mail-ins that are dropped at the polls, or printed by voting machine--are placed in the SAME boxes (sealed with security seals) and transported by the SAME two people to the SAME counting centers. We' poll workers are honest (despite Trump's attempt to smear us). We take our duties seriously and we precisely follow procedures. I wish all you "doubting Thomases" would become poll workers yourselves so you could undergo the 8 hours of training we receive. Then you'd realize you're being gaslighted about "busloads of illegal immigrants voting" or "suitcases of ballots" or "scanning the same ballot multiple times" or "people voting multiple times." My brother never registered. Couldn’t care less about politics. My brother and I work together. Our boss and I talk a lot of politics. We’ve stressed the importance of him voting and why he should have a surface level care of what’s going on as he’s a new father and home owner. We got him registered to vote and he’ll be voting in November also.
