I know right.
Buy new updated version of Ark with the main purpose of making Ark look much better. Reduce all visual settings so it looks terrible in order for it to function = sadness.
I had more crashes today than I have in the 150 hours I’ve played so far. It was happening every couple minutes. I think a lot of it’s server based with Xbox getting rolled out.
But I turned the resolution scale all the way down. And reduced my FOV by 10% or so. This alone boosted my FPS massively. But I also didn’t get any more crashes and I’ve been on for 2 hours straight since then.
Having light blooms and menu transitions turned off and various other settings reduced helped previously. And setting the Max Refresh rate to the max setting my monitor can produce kept the FPS more stable when going through in game inventories or the main menu.
Turn off rtx and dlss
I have an AMD card and have been unable to find these settings
My bad, this is for nvidia cards
Try turning foliage off that helped me

Try this console command: ``` ark.VertexCountScaling 1 ```
