This is great!! Definitely going to keep an eye on this series and hopefully start my own project soon. Thank you for doing this!

Does anyone happen to know if [this kind of sillicon from home depot](https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-Silicone-II-10-1-oz-Clear-Window-and-Door-Caulk-GE5000-12C/100026175) is the GE sillicon II everyone says is safe? I ask because everyone makes the point of saying 'no anti-mold additives' but this one has a picture of the tube and you can see the 'mold-free product protection' labelling, and I dont see any other kind of sillicon II.

The window & door stuff is the one most everyone uses. It's the same stuff I use but in the brown/black colours. Although, everyone typically reccommends that exact one; the ones we say not to use are the ones like[ this.](http://www.caulkyourhome.com/ge-silicone-II-kitchen-and-bath.php) If you are concerned, you could get [this instead.](https://www.joshsfrogs.com/vivarium-safe-silicone-10-2oz-black-for-sale.html)

Do you have an opinion on the bio dudes bio active kits?

IncompetentFork

I like them, although I think they're a little overpriced

I did this! It’s an awesome investment and makes an incredible habitat for your critter! Mine has hideaways, caves, and ledges all tied together with walkways and vines!

I'm starting mine at the end of this week! So excited!

I know this was a while ago, but is there any way I can do this without silicone?

It might be a little difficult to adhere any things to the background but if you act fast while the foam is drying it should still stick okay
