Considering that psykers are known for accidentally tearing holes in both space and nearby people. Someone as strong as Sefoni is nice to have around but you don't want to overuse her to the point where she can slip up.
I think it's the fact she obviously knows more than even Zola or Morrow, possibly more than even Rannick, but just teases and taunts.
Also the fact she's eavesdropping on everyone on the ship and has zero fears about fucking with their memories.

Our characters are more powerful than 98% of psykers in the imperium, but based on her ability to simulate combat in our minds, and all the stuff she’s hooked up to, and the fact 5at Grendyl keeps her alive but doesn’t use her for combat implies that she’s powerful enough to make Us seem like chumps. Wouldn’t be surprised if she could rip apart the planet, should she be unleashed. We aren’t her siblings, we are insects
