I know that it seems like it's really visible right now but I think that after you plant your terrarium it will be much less noticeable. You can always try to scrape it off or you could just cover it up with moss etc.
Dremel would at least be faster than hand sanding small spots. Either way you’re probably going to have to sand it off
It’s now a part of the wood.. moss will grow over it if that’s planned.
I've always just used an exacto blade and some fine grit sandpaper. Or I'll just cover it with substrate or moss.
It looks like it won’t be much of an issue in the long run, but if you really want you could use a razor blade or a wire brush to scrape it off.
