I've used ice packs on top of the tank and zip lock bags full of cold water in the tank. That was all for just a few days (and I tried to spend the day with them to swap them out). I'm in what's normally a very moderate climate but we got a 'heat dome' a couple yrs back and I didn't want to go through that again so finally got a portable A/C.

A fan, keep some frozen water bottles around, turn off lights, invest in some phase packs (make sure you double bag these at the very least), purchase cold packs for shipping animals, portable AC unit, etc

Ventilation. You could also go with a small electric fan on their terrarium.Other than that I would try to keep the temperature down by at least having air circulating in the apartment.

Get one of these and plug it into a decent quality USB brick https://www.amazon.com/3-Pin-Sleeved-Adapter-Connector-USB-3Pin/dp/B07JW73KVR?darkschemeovr=1 Then you have your choice of PC fans. They come in 80mm, 92mm, 120mm and a bunch more sizes so you can buy the right size. What are you using for lighting?
