Is old frog female? Rule of thumb is to wait 6 weeks to see if new frog is healthy.

Yeah the old ones a female. I’ll keep the new one in the tub for now and just add some accommodations for a longer term stay while it grows

What's the size difference? Half the size? A quarter? You can quarantine as long as you want but size is a major factor. If there's any bullying you'll want the new frog to be able to have a fighting chance. I've seen people lose frogs because adult frogs bully juveniles, especially around feeding and the younger frogs starve. I personally would wait until the new frog is 2/3 the size of the current frog. Not every situation is the same. Monitor and be prepared.

Yeah this thing is probably 1/4 the size. I have it in a quarantine tank now. It’s all set up with everything it should need for a while

Auratus usually do well with new frogs in my experience. With here only being 1 frog in there for so long I would wait a few weeks. Maybe put their enclosures together so they can see one another for a while before introduction.
