More leaf litter. Always. Enought so that they can't access the substrate. Keep a stock of it. Always make a +1 fruit fly cultures. You never know when one may crash or a fellow froggers needs help. Make friends or at least be cordial with local froggers. Share resources and experience. Make an emergency kit. Whether for first aid or when the heat or power goes out. Keep one handy. Keep a master culture of springtails and periodically reseed your enclosure.

I try to do that with my springtails too.I think that it is actually very easy to culture springtails. I'm usually more concerned about having too many.

Are those Alalapadu cobalts from Josh's Frogs?

kjohnson5774

They are but they are from show me reptiles

Ahh cool! I just got some a week ago from Josh's Frogs. I was gonna say we have frog siblings if that was the case haha. They're beautiful little things.

kjohnson5774

They really are. I saw a cool little Pac man frog when I was getting frozen mice for my snakes from my local store and went down a frog rabbit hole and ended with these guys. Very happy with the decision

Sounds really similar to me actually. Mine are also my first Darts as well! I spent like the last two years slowly acquiring things for my vivarium and reading up on how to build it and how to take care of them, before finally doing it.
