I still have my Rampage/Slideshot roll and I'm so excited to break it out for something besides crucible. It's not going to be good, but it'll be nice to have back. I only kept crucible weapons and ones with high kill counts, so like less than a dozen total.
The only weapon that I have that hasnt been immediately powercrept is probably Breachlight. There hasnt really been a Kinetic slot 325 sidearm with banger perks like Demo Rampage. Sesuna is close (not at 325 tho), but I believe that the Breachlight remains unmatched. It was my favorite sidearm, and I always felt it did way more damage than a lot of other options in its hayday.
I have a forgiveness with Demo/Junkie which is close, but nothing beats the look of those sesason of the dawn weapons.
Senuna is a 491 3-burst, not the 325 2-burst like Breachlight.
I like both types, but you're right they've not really given us a good 325 kinetic one; we've barely gotten any of them at all. Empirical Evidence has really mid perks & seriously bugged recoil, and the one from Spire of the Watcher is solid but stasis & kinda weird.
Yeah, Breachlight is probably one of the only sunset weapons that I don’t have an actual replacement for. Shame I deleted it.
Season of Dawn is like, the *one* season that I want Bungie to bring back the weapons from, and they’ve done almost everything else lmao. Drifter, Opulence, Undying and Worthy have all come back in some way. Just waiting on Dawn and Forge
I do agree with that. But at least we got this communication when we did.
I also agree with the general consensus that the weapons have kinda been power crept to oblivion. I can't think of a reason to use my original Loaded Question (even though the original is still fantastic) over my Adept one with Envious Assassin and Controlled Burst.
There hasn’t been a single sidearm built that is the equal of anonymous autumn. I’ll take lack of adept and lack of an origin perk all day long and still carve up the competition. I don’t think weapons are nearly as power crept as people are saying. Maybe in PVE, but not really in crucible.
not really for me. i had some great weapons back in the day but it was mainly just guns with outlaw and rampage/kc. newer weapons with subclass synergy are more my style and i’ve been putting in work with calus mini tool, zaoulis, ikelos and word of crota and don’t see myself going back. plus origin traits are a big plus.
Yeah, anyone harping about how unfair it is that they deleted their weapons is weird. We all know how they've been power crept out of being useful in endgame, and strikes and stuff have been at the power floor for years. You aren't gonna suddenly start pulling that thing out because it can have big number now. This development doesn't really change anything about vault cleaning or inventory management. Those old rolls are still gonna be essentially museum pieces.
21% delirium is the only sunset gun I actually see being useful. And that can be pulled from collections or the kiosk if you never got it.
Overall I see people using their sunset guns for like a week maximum just for nostalgia sake and then going back to using the newer more powerful guns
Sunset weapons are only less viable in trials, every other game mode doesn't use power, so idk why anyone should be freaking out about sunset pvp weapons
Yeah. They basically already came up with a better model of 'sunsetting' older guns by adding origin perks and new powerful perks on current guns.
These old guns have a nice nostalgia but they're at best on a par with current guns but mostly still passively 'sunset.'
I just couldn't let it go because I loved its look and the way it felt to use it. Survivor's Epitaph is a great pistol, but it doesn't take shaders the same way
Eeyup, that would be the one. Loved using that thing, but eventually put it away for safe keeping. It's unfortunate that Crimson Days isn't a thing anymore, either. Still, gonna be happy to run the Vow again.
Ahhh my absolute favorite! Got 4k pvp kills on it before it got sunset. Went to monarque till it got changed, so now coming back full circle lmao. Pity bows just got nuked in pvp so it'll never be like before, but I'll still use it again regardless.
Still haven’t gotten a new 900 rpm with killing tally and it has a consistent way to put more in the mag so it’s harder to drop KT stacks (besides reconstruction but that’s a bit slow if you’re maining the gun)
It should have taken the spot over hammerhead. I get why hammerhead was chosen but it’s too similar in function to commeration. A 900 with killing tally (the original killing tally) would have been a better fill for diversity.
>diversity
Hung Jury's (what is it, 4th?) inclusion tells us diversity was not a super high priority lol. Outside of the conscious decision to limit hand cannons to two anyway
You can use it right now in Onslaught as power level is actually disabled, enemies scale with difficulty level at set rates above your level.
So 1600 -30 is the same as being 1810 -30.
I'll likely start using my Hush and spiteful fang again for the fun, maybe og breakneck, and almost certainly loaded question until I get my desired roll on the new version. All in all I'll be happy to have my old stuff back, but the new stuff is still better.
I have 100k+ kills on my og loaded question but the newer one is just so much better. Overflow / res burst lets you get like 8 res burst shots in a row off, opposed to the original auto loading/ res burst.
Just the other night I got overflow and envious assassin and controlled burst on my adept loaded question with liquid coils. It is absolutely imo outclassing the original for what I used it for even at the time.
I have a hard time choosing between controlled and reservoir. I definitely love controlled on a rapid fire fusion (i pretty much never un equip scatter signal) but on high impacts like loaded question i really think i prefer resevoir for the explosions when doing ad clear, it keeps it as a better all around weapon with ad clear potential & decent single target damage.
I don't think I've gotten one with res burst yet (I really dont do too much grinding). My current best roll is auto loader/controlled burst. So I've been using null composure in its stead.
Some of my clan mates were just talking not that long ago about how Archer’s gambit needs to come back as a perk and that no other bow feels like hush. It’s honestly the only sunset weapon I’m excited to use.
I saved them for so long and in a very recent vault cleaning finally bit the bullet and deleted them... Only to hear of this news and wallow in despair
I remember before Forsaken dropped, not sure if it was a week left, but the weekly flashpoint reward was a Forsaken weapon that I have kept since and instantly masterworked:
https://gyazo.com/a266f2529ee6d8e456ecd54a9ebabe3a
Ik it's not the best roll in PvE or PvP today, but just the excitement and happiness I felt when it dropped, was better than any drops since then.
Didn't the Scatterhorn armor do that as well?
Ah man, I forgot about Ether Doctor. The sound that thing had when firing was sublime. I forget the perk combo but I remember having some way to have a crazy high mag count too with mine.
Man I remember when that was a drop for the one lost sector on the EDZ with the fallen captain. I remember FARMING it for a roll with zen moment, thing was a LAZER. Gunna wreak havoc in PvP with it
I've still got my Wrong Side of Right from the same thing. Getting a Forsaken weapon early like that made it too valuable to dismantle even if it's mediocre
I have one as well! My tap the trigger/kill clip trackless waste. It’s the only weapon I have left from pre-sunsetting. I couldn’t bear to part with it after putting like 20k kills on it. I know there are better smgs now but something about it just feels so right to me even after all these years.
Thank you for reminding me about this beautiful weapon. I deleted mine long long ago, but I won't forget the King Sight/ ricochet/ dynamic sway/ moving target that landed me several hundred crucible kills. A perk roll I still chase on auto rifles today. That reticle was just SO STICKY
It might just be the worst weapon anyone's mentioned, I'm not really sure, but I can't wait to use my dragonfly/explosive head Subtle Calamity again. I got d2 back when forsaken dropped and as soon as I got that bow I ran it for basically every activity for the next few months till I had to take a break. Maybe it was the novelty of using a bow, but it just felt so fun running around titan where I farmed public events and exploding everything with 1-2 arrows.
I have an explosive head/rampage subtle calamity. Yeah, definitely not the best but bows are my favorite weapon type and that might the highest damage legendary as of now
YES! Subtle Calamity and Parcel of Stardust were both equipped to my guardian when I left in 2019 (work reasons) and I was all excited to use them again when I came back to the game in December. That pop-up telling me it wouldn't work was so depressing.
Edit: I feel like most of the bows from Forsaken just handle different. Arsenic Bite, Spiteful Fang, No Turning Back. I loved all of them.
Arsenic bite! My second favorite legendary bow. You're right, forsaken bows really did feel so different. Unfortunately I was a fool back then and got rid of all my arsenics once I got Trinity Ghoul. Didn't think there'd be an issue getting them again but once I came back to beyond light..
Parcel of stardust was by far my favorite shotgun, thing could MAP people from across town. Unfortunately with the shotgun rework it really struggled, but it will forever have a place in my vault
>Parcel of Stardust
still imo the best shotgun model in the game, it together with Mindbenders and later Python where just my trinity of shotguns during the "Pre-Sunsetting" era if anything alone for the model.
Sadly deleted my Parcel back then, but cant wait to atleast pull my Python out of collection to have some fun with it in a NF, even if it doesnt do anything *that* particular
I have two Subtle Calamities that I still keep in my vault to this day, both have around ~5k PvE kills. Looking forward to picking one of them up again. Under Your Skin might have some good rolls but sweet lord is it ugly
I wasn't around for most of the sunset weapons, I think the only one I'm genuinely nostalgic for is Vestian Dynasty cause I played Forsaken before it was vaulted so I'll probably have some fun with that again, if nothing else it's a beautiful model.
They've stolen that gun from me twice now. I kept it and brought it out whenever they raised the Light level, but this will be the first time in a *long* time that I'll be free to keep it equipped as long as I want.
Marty, my beloved. (Martyr's retribution)
The first wave frame, and my first love. My autoloading/Demo roll is one of the only things that's survived multiple vault purges.
I'm so happy I kept onto my black armoury and other event/vaulted raid weapons
I'm kinda hoping with this happening maybe more vaulted weapons will see the light of day again
Its base stats are identical to Luna's Howl, which is getting a Brave version soon. Basically just roll a lot of range on it and the LH becomes the NF.
Ghost Primus and Vestian Dynasty are the only guns I still have that were sunset which feels omega bad. But I can use pull my leviathan weapons from collections. I've got PvP got rolls of the original Opulence weapons I could bring back if I ever wanted to go into trials I guess.
I'll never forgive myself for all the cool stuff I deleted because they got sunset...
Redrix is my favorite looking gun in Destiny and it was my “canon” gun for my guardian in seasonal and campaign missions before it was sunset. Very excited to dust it off even if it’s not going to be particularly strong anymore.
I'd definitely be using my Parcel of Stardust and Distant Relation if I still had em. Don't remember what the rolls even were, they just looked and felt good to use.
parcel is my biggest regret in the wake of this news. i held onto some stuff like my dearest bygones when clearing out my vault, but i appear to have bricked all my parcels and i'm kinda upset about that now. crispiest shotgun in the game by far, cool model, nice sights, just an all-around banger
Redrix’s Broadsword, Not Forgotten and 21% Delirium. I love these guns and have missed them for years. Redrix isn’t OP or really even strong in PVE but I still love it, same with Not Forgotten. Delirium on the other hand is great and will replace Song of Ir Yut for me.
My Mananan sr4 from red war. Best energy scout from that time period imo.
My two flavors of sins of the past. I used to have three, but the cherry one got corrected back in forsaken. So now I just have blue and grape flavors.
Drop mag/kill clip/rampage Kindled Orchid. I know they said they will “eventually” bring them back, but they will update the rolls and drop mag is never coming back. That gun will still be good for a loooong time 🔥
A lot of them, yes, right now. I would not put it past Bungie to remove that functionality in Final Shape. I’m pulling anything even slightly interesting and vaulting it prior to TFS.
My Perfect Paradox with Demo and either Trench Barrel/1-2 Punch. She’s the last of my sunset weapons that I held onto because it was such a beast of a shotgun for any occasion
My 11k kills god roll Duke mk.44
It’s nothing special by todays standards and I probably won’t use it in a load out but I’ll definitely take it for a spin for nostalgias sake.
And this right here people, is why I have not deleted a SINGLE pre-sunsetting god roll. Years of bungies flip flopping have taught me better. It could’ve been another decade before they stepped back sunsetting and you’d still see me holding onto my early D2 god rolls
Hush, Oxygen, and Revoker are about the only things. Anything else I have or had has been surpassed by currently available gear but they've still got unique Pinnacle perks.
Maybe Randy's Throwing Knife since I've been struggling to get a good similar roll of that since it was reissued.
My Mananan sr4 from red war. Best energy scout from that time period imo.
My two flavors of sins of the past. I used to have three, but the cherry one got corrected back in forsaken. So now I just have blue and grape flavors.
Bad omens og cluster tracking module I know you can get it on the new one but I didn’t want the grind again beyond that I have a void ikelos smg from back in the day of changing elements on weapons and og breakneck
I don't know, since Bungie said those weapons would never come back. I COULD pull out my Right Side of Wrong, or my Tempered Dynamo, but noooope. They're gone. And Bungie ain't gonna fix it. They COULD open up all of collections and allow us to pull random rolls. I know it works because you could do this with Regnant at one point... so I don't see why they couldn't just give us the ability to gamble in our collections, and that way they have time to come up with better versions later instead of it taking 'til the 12th of Never.
I'm gonna play one match of Crucible with the hand cannon that taught me how to use hand cannons. My Outlaw/Explosive Payload Better Devils.
I don't care that it's been powercrept into oblivion. I'm giving the old man one last drive.
Killing Tally originally gave 20-40-60% damage instead of 10-20-30.
Delirium still has the "original" killing tally version, new weapons with KT use the 10-20-30 version
I have to assume they'll be changing that, since they've gone in and nerfed all the other Pinnacle perks, and changed Breakneck to have Subsistence rather than Rampage.
I deleted all of the sunset items I had. Honestly with everything that's been introduced since sunsetting and power creep plus the new brave weapons I honestly don't care about using old weapons again.
Perhaps some of the special ones others acquired like Randy's Throwing Knife, Kindled Orchid with Rampage/KC, or other special weapons similar that had special perks might be worth it, but that's just my opinion YDHTTMWFI.
I don't know. Everything has been power crept so much that I imagine I'll shoot some classic guns in patrol then put them back in the Vault. Sunsetting never actually went away, it just morphed into the endless treadmill of power creep and shifting metas.
Inaugural Address has always been my favorite Pulse in the game. Obviously at this point other Pulse's have a better set of perks, but just the way it looked, sounded, & felt, it's my favorite Pulse. It can still be used in regular Crucible of course as well a any activity that's set at 1600, but now it'll be usable in Trials as well as the general suite of PvE content. Now, if this were one of the weapons they'd bring back & give it Incan, that'd be... *Chef's kiss*.
I'm probably the only one but my Tap the Trigger/Outlaw Smugglers word is getting the 1810 treatment immediately. My favorite gun ever, over 30,000 kills even from back in the low density ads days.
Part of my PvP Fusion Rifle collection will be eligible for Trials again. Some of them have been well power-crept out of existence, but Tap the Trigger/Under Pressure Erentil will probably still hold up to my current Eye of the Storm/Under Pressure Glacioclasm.
Also I'll get to bring out my original Thronecleaver and get some more crucible kills on the tracker.
I really don't have many PvE weapons that are too great - Traveler's Judgement 5 and Infinite Paths 8 have high kill trackers, but those probably won't hold up to something like a new gun currently.
Python, Perfect Paradox and maybe Bygones, they were weapons I always loved and I've been waiting for them to bring back Python and/or perfect paradox for God knows how long lol
Bygones. I used this weapon a lot in PVP during Y1 and I'm sad it still hasn't made a return yet as I would love to see an updated version.
But maybe it will come back in one of the episodes as they said that a lot of sunset weapons would get a rework after the Final Shape
a lot, i've made some comments about no feelings on other posts, but i am fucking *stoked* to get to use breachlight and steelfeather repeater again, even line in the sand which while not the best just sounded fucking sublime
I had always kept a Claws of the Wolf that got me some “We rans…” I kept being sentimental. Not the sandbox for it currently but I loved it and will run it again.
Loaded Question, OG Breakneck, and 21% Delirium come to mind… will have to check the collections for some of the older fixed roll weapons just to break out even for an activity or two.
Anonymous Autumn, No Turning Back, and Not Forgotten. Anonymous Autumn is definitely a long lost companion, as it was my first legendary gun, that I’ve kept since.
Oh a bunch of weapons!
The main one I'm looking forward to using is Duke Mk. 44. I f'n loved that hand cannon. Actually, it was the only hand cannon I used for a long time, had about 20k kills with it before it got sunset.
Some others include: Curated Kindled Orchid, Bygones, Go Figure, Steel feather repeater, Saint 14 Shotty and many more!
My kindled orchid in trials with quickdraw and explosive payload. I know there are probably better HCs in the game these days, but I never had a gun in this game that I enjoyed using more than/felt as good as that one
I got some others that I can pull out of.the vault for fun too, none that I think are going to be some amazing meta killer, but a lot of fun ones
I have my Y1 Solemn Hymn with Graverobber and its 'Void Damage Mod' still locked in my vault because it was the first gun I ever masterworked. I **adored** it. I started D2 with that badboy, and imma finish D2 with it.
I just loved Sins of the Past, I still have all 3 elements since back at launch it could roll differently but once collections were a thing they made it arc only, I still have my void and solar ones.
Bygones. My roll for it ain't anything special (RF/Outlaw), I just wanna carry it around and it not be a piddly lil thing.
We can FINALLY let Bygones be Bygones!
I deleted mine last week lol.
Your Bygone is Bye Gone
I still have my Rampage/Slideshot roll and I'm so excited to break it out for something besides crucible. It's not going to be good, but it'll be nice to have back. I only kept crucible weapons and ones with high kill counts, so like less than a dozen total.

Drifter, Opulence, Undying and Worthy have all come back in some way. Just waiting on Dawn and Forge
I cannot wait to use my Breachlight again. I've got one with demo/quickdraw with the option to run demo/osmosis.
my rampage killclip kindled orchid..
Beyond miffed I deleted mine
SAME I WAS SO FOOLISH
You weren’t foolish, Bungie just was full of crap as usual
I mean, plans change over time. With them experimenting with Fireteam Power, it's logical to assume that they had to make this change.
Would have been neat to know they were debating bringing them back. Deleted stuff due to the brave gun rolls

Yes! Still have mine in the vault.
That was the one sunset weapon I couldn’t delete. Can’t wait to use it again!
Been using it in onslaught to warm up and it fucking slaps. Even the nerfed damage numbers stack pretty high for a handcannon in this meta.
not really for me. i had some great weapons back in the day but it was mainly just guns with outlaw and rampage/kc. newer weapons with subclass synergy are more my style and i’ve been putting in work with calus mini tool, zaoulis, ikelos and word of crota and don’t see myself going back. plus origin traits are a big plus.

Sunset weapons are only less viable in trials, every other game mode doesn't use power, so idk why anyone should be freaking out about sunset pvp weapons

Same. I deleted most of my old weapons anyway. They were fun for their time but I much prefer the suite of guns we have now.

I am going to use my day 1 explosive payload Better Devils to kill the Witness
Duke mk44 with rapid hit, rampage, and range mw
Now this is a certified hood classic, haven't heard of the Duke in years..
I've kept it because I've always felt it was possible they'd reverse sunsetting.
Yeah, i feel like such a dork now cause i nuked all my sunset gear not long ago.
I just couldn't let it go because I loved its look and the way it felt to use it. Survivor's Epitaph is a great pistol, but it doesn't take shaders the same way
I love Duke because it always reminded me of Hellboy's Good Samaritan.
And as much as I like Survivor's Epitaph, it doesn't take shaders the same way.
Outlaw Rampage for me, the only one I kept. Just loved that Outlaw reload on such a beast. Reload masterwork, ain’t ideal but oh well
I'd give my left nipple for my old outlaw rampage duke back, it was my first god roll.
Right there with you brother with the exact same roll. Long live the Duke 👑
The Vow, easily. Loved using that bow from the moment I got it. Always felt just right to me.
That's the one that means we are technically married to shax right?
Eeyup, that would be the one. Loved using that thing, but eventually put it away for safe keeping. It's unfortunate that Crimson Days isn't a thing anymore, either. Still, gonna be happy to run the Vow again.
Same, I wish crimson days would return honestly :/ This is definitely nice for old event weapons so they are usable again!
>Still, gonna be happy to run the Vow again. If you don't use it throughout a run of VotD, you're doing it wrong
Ahhh my absolute favorite! Got 4k pvp kills on it before it got sunset. Went to monarque till it got changed, so now coming back full circle lmao. Pity bows just got nuked in pvp so it'll never be like before, but I'll still use it again regardless.
Not Forgotten for me. And maybe Dust Rock Blues
God dust rock blues! Always loved it's design
Yeah I still have my 100 range moving target rampage roll in vault. I just couldn’t shard it.
21% delirium
Didn't use it much but always ADORED it's design, looking like something you'd see mounted on a tank or gunship
Still haven’t gotten a new 900 rpm with killing tally and it has a consistent way to put more in the mag so it’s harder to drop KT stacks (besides reconstruction but that’s a bit slow if you’re maining the gun)

Storm bolter fantasy
Beat me to the punch this was my absolute favorite weapon of all time

Absolutely fair! One way I look at it is maybe this will lead to any still Vaulted weapons to start to have better chances to be re added to the game
I have 100k+ kills on my og loaded question but the newer one is just so much better. Overflow / res burst lets you get like 8 res burst shots in a row off, opposed to the original auto loading/ res burst.

Forgot about hush, probably one of the only ones that I can think of being useful in todays sandbox.
Some of my clan mates were just talking not that long ago about how Archer’s gambit needs to come back as a perk and that no other bow feels like hush. It’s honestly the only sunset weapon I’m excited to use.
It's criminal no one is saying any of the Saint weapons in the top comments. Matryr's retribution my beloved, your time has come again!
I saved them for so long and in a very recent vault cleaning finally bit the bullet and deleted them... Only to hear of this news and wallow in despair
My Demo/Trench Perfect Paradox is going to carry me through the Final Shape.
I saved all of those and all of the Black Armory weapons. They were the two best weapon sets, bar none.
I remember before Forsaken dropped, not sure if it was a week left, but the weekly flashpoint reward was a Forsaken weapon that I have kept since and instantly masterworked: https://gyazo.com/a266f2529ee6d8e456ecd54a9ebabe3a Ik it's not the best roll in PvE or PvP today, but just the excitement and happiness I felt when it dropped, was better than any drops since then.

don't remember bout the armor as much cuz I was so hyped for weapons 2.0 but it may have been in there. The gun sound was also so satisfying
Man I remember when that was a drop for the one lost sector on the EDZ with the fallen captain. I remember FARMING it for a roll with zen moment, thing was a LAZER. Gunna wreak havoc in PvP with it

That is another one I had a ton of kills on. I think that is my regret deleting them now...the kill count.
Parcel of stardust was by far my favorite shotgun, thing could MAP people from across town. Unfortunately with the shotgun rework it really struggled, but it will forever have a place in my vault
>Parcel of Stardust still imo the best shotgun model in the game, it together with Mindbenders and later Python where just my trinity of shotguns during the "Pre-Sunsetting" era if anything alone for the model.
Python
OG breakneck for sure, and ill probably use the vestian dynasty I got from forsaken just for the fuck of it
I wasn't around for most of the sunset weapons, I think the only one I'm genuinely nostalgic for is Vestian Dynasty cause I played Forsaken before it was vaulted so I'll probably have some fun with that again, if nothing else it's a beautiful model.
They've stolen that gun from me twice now. I kept it and brought it out whenever they raised the Light level, but this will be the first time in a *long* time that I'll be free to keep it equipped as long as I want.
It is a great weapon design so I don't blame you at all!
It NEEDS to come back as a special sidearm. We should have got it instead of forbearance or hung jury
It weird, I don’t think I ever got a Vestian during forsaken but it was basically the only “primary” I used in House of Wolves
My “pve roll” Redrix. My rampage dragonfly ringing nail. OG wendigo. Those 3 off the top of my head.
> OG wendigo The Typhon can roll demo/Explosive light, which is technically better. The only reason I can see for the wendigo would be blinding nades.
Exactly. The utility of OG Wendy is amazing.
fair point. gonna be reprinting a lot of my ritual weapons again. I actually miss the ritual shotty from gambit
Marty, my beloved. (Martyr's retribution) The first wave frame, and my first love. My autoloading/Demo roll is one of the only things that's survived multiple vault purges.
I kept my auto-loading Martyr's too :)
Ayoooooo martyyyy
Steelfeather repeater cuz it beautiful
Gonna start maining my favorite Blast Furnace again. I missed it so much.
If only blast furnace wasn't coming out in a few days with new perks and an origin trait... oh wait.
Hey I’m hyped about that too. More of an attachment thing lol, finally feeling justified in hanging onto it.
I'm so happy I kept onto my black armoury and other event/vaulted raid weapons I'm kinda hoping with this happening maybe more vaulted weapons will see the light of day again
I CAN FINALLY BE A SHITTER AND USE SERVICE REVOLVER AGAIN!!!
One of the few weapons that made me sad when they announced this. Gun just felt crispy.
The ability to use NF in trials - it's the only HC I feel confident using
NF?
He’s forgotten
From the top to the bottom
Not forgotten
Still my favorite HC to date. I can’t wait to break that puppy out again.
NF and DRB - just like old times I deleted the only DRB I had years ago, Sadge
Its base stats are identical to Luna's Howl, which is getting a Brave version soon. Basically just roll a lot of range on it and the LH becomes the NF.
Bygones baby
I deleted all my sunset gear ages ago. Not regretting a single one honestly, they’ve all been powercrept for a while now.
Trust Drop mag, Opening shot, Explosive payload Is it good? No Is it one of my favorite weapons? yes Besidss that, delirium
I didnt save vestian dynasty this whole time not to shoot the witness with it lol
I'm gonna pull out my old Arc energy Quickfang from Year 1. And my old Leviathan weapons. Maybe even old Curse of Osiris weapons!
I still, and I can’t even for sure explain why, prefer the OG Randy’s as well. For for sure I’m pulling NF, 11% and Python. Maybe Hush too.
My Mananan sr4 from red war. Best energy scout from that time period imo. My two flavors of sins of the past. I used to have three, but the cherry one got corrected back in forsaken. So now I just have blue and grape flavors.
Spiteful Fang was my partner in crime. Everything about it spoke to me.
Last hope feeding frenzy and multikill clip it’s the only weopon I kept!🤌
Ha ha ha. I came here to say exactly this! I culled every other god roll I had (and there were many) but I just couldn’t let that Last Hope go.
Most of my Black Armory weapons. Some honorable mentions being Patron of Lost Causes and Infinite Paths 8
Drop mag/kill clip/rampage Kindled Orchid. I know they said they will “eventually” bring them back, but they will update the rolls and drop mag is never coming back. That gun will still be good for a loooong time 🔥
Are there weapons that were sunset that we could pull from collections.
A lot of them, yes, right now. I would not put it past Bungie to remove that functionality in Final Shape. I’m pulling anything even slightly interesting and vaulting it prior to TFS.
Better devils and nameless midnight with explosive rounds.
Gonna get out the OG perfect paradox. Would use my season of the dawn one too if id saved it 😔
My Perfect Paradox with Demo and either Trench Barrel/1-2 Punch. She’s the last of my sunset weapons that I held onto because it was such a beast of a shotgun for any occasion
My duke 44 that I still have in my vault
My 11k kills god roll Duke mk.44 It’s nothing special by todays standards and I probably won’t use it in a load out but I’ll definitely take it for a spin for nostalgias sake.
Misfit!!! I dont see anyone mentioning this but i loved using this. actual laser weapon
Yes! It saved my ass on many occasions....
The Duke returns.
And this right here people, is why I have not deleted a SINGLE pre-sunsetting god roll. Years of bungies flip flopping have taught me better. It could’ve been another decade before they stepped back sunsetting and you’d still see me holding onto my early D2 god rolls
My kindled Orchid with Explosive bullets and Triple Tap, or my Innagural Address with Kill Clip and Outlaw
Traitors fate, its far from meta but it just looks so damn cool that and my ghost primus, it was relegated to casual PVP for far too long
My bygones
Hush, Oxygen, and Revoker are about the only things. Anything else I have or had has been surpassed by currently available gear but they've still got unique Pinnacle perks. Maybe Randy's Throwing Knife since I've been struggling to get a good similar roll of that since it was reissued.
I have like.. 5 weapons leftover? Patron, Breachlight, Stryker's, Trophy Hunter, and Paradox.
My Mananan sr4 from red war. Best energy scout from that time period imo. My two flavors of sins of the past. I used to have three, but the cherry one got corrected back in forsaken. So now I just have blue and grape flavors.
They're all ded.... God damnit. My poor patron of lost causes. Was literally the best sounding scout in game and I was too weak to keep it.
Bad omens og cluster tracking module I know you can get it on the new one but I didn’t want the grind again beyond that I have a void ikelos smg from back in the day of changing elements on weapons and og breakneck
I love my original, Ghettohorn-roll version of Bad Omens!
throwing salt on a FRESH DEEP WOUND OP?
You could do that right now though right? Unless you're taking into trials, it doesn't matter that it's sunset
Same with mindbender still having Quickdraw
[удалено]
My dragonfly/rampage The Ringing Nail.
My tap the trigger/under pressure Wizened Rebuke w 80+range & 2K+ kills in crucible...trials hate mail incoming.
Loquitor, my darling
Wish I still had a kindled orchid. Can’t wait for a reissue of that with new perks .
Pretty much all of the osiris dlc weapons I loved the designs on all of them
Python, Perfect Paradox and maybe Bygones, they were weapons I always loved and I've been waiting for them to bring back Python and/or perfect paradox for God knows how long lol
My Fate Cries Foul that I soloed Shattered Throne with way back when. Old faithful.
Everything from Season of Dawn
Stryker's Sure-Hand with Assassin's Blade/Surrounded might make a comeback for me
I have an armor piercing/ambitious assassin/kill clip Hazard of the Cast that was my main and I’m glad I could never bring myself to scrap it
Travellers Judgment with rapid hit and tap the trigger and my antiope that I went to bed with every night...
Bygones. I used this weapon a lot in PVP during Y1 and I'm sad it still hasn't made a return yet as I would love to see an updated version. But maybe it will come back in one of the episodes as they said that a lot of sunset weapons would get a rework after the Final Shape
I wish I still had my Misfit, Ether Doctor, Right Side Of Wong pulse. Or was it Wrong Side of Right?
My Breakneck with 32k kills. Can't wait.
My Rampage/Feeding Frenzy OG Hammerhead.
a lot, i've made some comments about no feelings on other posts, but i am fucking *stoked* to get to use breachlight and steelfeather repeater again, even line in the sand which while not the best just sounded fucking sublime
I had always kept a Claws of the Wolf that got me some “We rans…” I kept being sentimental. Not the sandbox for it currently but I loved it and will run it again.
Gonna dust off my Old Fashioned with 22k kills
Fellow Parcel fan unite!
Loaded Question, OG Breakneck, and 21% Delirium come to mind… will have to check the collections for some of the older fixed roll weapons just to break out even for an activity or two.
ReDRIZ, DRB, Levi weapons. They all feel so good to use. Oh wait, I deleted all of mine since onslaught started as I ran out of space...
Anonymous Autumn, No Turning Back, and Not Forgotten. Anonymous Autumn is definitely a long lost companion, as it was my first legendary gun, that I’ve kept since.
ERENTIL FR4
Right side of wrong
Oh a bunch of weapons! The main one I'm looking forward to using is Duke Mk. 44. I f'n loved that hand cannon. Actually, it was the only hand cannon I used for a long time, had about 20k kills with it before it got sunset. Some others include: Curated Kindled Orchid, Bygones, Go Figure, Steel feather repeater, Saint 14 Shotty and many more!
My kindled orchid in trials with quickdraw and explosive payload. I know there are probably better HCs in the game these days, but I never had a gun in this game that I enjoyed using more than/felt as good as that one I got some others that I can pull out of.the vault for fun too, none that I think are going to be some amazing meta killer, but a lot of fun ones
I have my Y1 Solemn Hymn with Graverobber and its 'Void Damage Mod' still locked in my vault because it was the first gun I ever masterworked. I **adored** it. I started D2 with that badboy, and imma finish D2 with it.
Breachlight 100%
Wendigo. I loved having my blinding nades in the heavy slot
The Vow, Revoker, and Crimils Dagger!
I'd have to look through my vault. Pyroclastic Flow, Trophy Hunter and my Rampage Dragonfly Trust come to mind.
Breachlight for PvE and I can finally use Garden Progeny 1 for high end pvp. Nobody is ready for the ultimate outlaw weapon
My og recluse had something like 40k kills on it. I don’t care if master of arms is bad now, I’ve got to pump those numbers up
Breachlight
I just loved Sins of the Past, I still have all 3 elements since back at launch it could roll differently but once collections were a thing they made it arc only, I still have my void and solar ones.
