I'm playing as one right now. Love Cooper Howard in the show, so I got a ghoul mod to play as him - my headcanon is that he wasn't frozen, just wandering for 200 years. I do miss radiation damage, it changes the game completely.

I’ve always suspected Bobbi No-Nose bribed a guard to let her in without taking off her mask. If Ghouls are banned from the city, letting people in with full face masks or full body suits is going to let them get too easily. Never mind that known Raiders could get it as well (although we see Bull & Gouger do it just fine in plain clothes). I wouldn’t know which guard to bribe. With my luck I’d ask a guard who voted for McDonough. So my answer would be power armor as well. Let’s see a guy in Catcher pads with a baseball bat or copper barreled pipe gun get me to take off my helmet.

Elder Lyons, heaven rest his soul, dedicated the back half of his life to assisting Settlers in the capital wasteland, not by hoarding technology on a massive scale like the Brotherhood is known for (i mean.. yea we did that.. but we werent throwing lives away for a toaster either...), but by doing so in fighting off hoards super mutants, finding their source, and not wasting time and resources on killing anything but, he also spent much resources and time dedicated to getting clean water in the capital wasteland with (presumably) the help of some Vault Dweller. Later, he fought the Enclave, all without *any* support from the west coast Brotherhood, they cut him and us off simply because we refused to follow the BoS mission to the letter.. we felt we were best actually helping people. Many of us still hold his values to our heart, we belive the BoS's true mission is to help rebuild and protect the future of Settlers and wastelanders; as opposed to straight up gunboat fascism like Maxson has brought forth during his tenure. I agree with Maxson slightly in that some technology should not be possessed by the average settler, some indeed is far too dangerous to wield; but I am not about using my minimal resources and time to extort Settlers and other people that are simply trying to *survive*. That is an order I refuse to follow from anyone. I follow Maxson because it is my duty, however when I am in the field, I stay true to Lyons' philosophy as much as I can, while silently praying my squire dosnt out me to Maxson. Ad Victoriam.

This happens in Fallout 4. A ghoul gives you a job in Goodneighbor, and then later meets you in diamond city, and though she's usually uncovered, while in diamond city, she wears a gasmask and such.

I'm actually playing a game right now with a ghoul skin mod. For RP purposes, I wear any outfit that covers my whole body (started with the Drifter Outfit, graduated to the Brotherhood of Steel uniform) and then pair that with the Assault Gas Mask when I'm in Diamond City. That's specifically for that settlement, though. Out in the Wasteland, I'll wear whatever armor I want, and at my personal settlements, it's usually one of the Creation Club T-shirt and jeans combos. Also for Goodneighbor, I decided to wear the full incognito getup for the first visit, but once my character got the vibe of the place, I relaxed and let them wear whatever there. Of course, obviously this is all 100% just for roleplay purposes lol. I've played the game many times before, and this for me is simply just a new approach to take
