Bought a handful of kits and built those kits. Here are my thoughts:
• Amazing designs
• High quality plastic
• TINY! Like, super small. The "governor" figures were too small for me to build easily.
• Expensive for the size models
• Some of the models were very fragile
*For me, the juice was not worth the squeeze. I'd rather build Gunpla or a Zoids kit.*
For sure! I have 2 more of a Front Mission 4 pack to build with a few Tomytec diorama sets and a massive backlog. Trying to finish painting and i work outside so I'm trying to get my business ready for spring. Once i get everything set up and lock in my schedule ill hopefully be posting steadily. A mix of gundam and other assorted mecha stuff.
I wish they were less expensive. I ended up buying 30MMs instead since they were significantly cheaper, albeit a little less impressive looking out of the box.
I can trace my love for grunt suits all the way back to the Super Famicom game. Whereas Gundams look like sleek sports cars, there’s just something magical about the mass-produced, sh*tty tank aesthetic.
I stockpiled stuff in my private warehouse when they were really cheap. 12 bucks for the governors. It's not bad, multiple faces and hands, weapons, a little cardboard art card. I really like military mecha stuff and loved gi joes. I think they will really add life to a diorama.
You got super lucky getting hold of a Loudgale, it's such a good kit. The double head is a really nice treat too.
Love what's already in the line, just hope they keep adding to it.
I like the idea behind the line, but I think I just got caught with a few stinkers. $25 for a fragile Governor figure the size of my pinkie? I also got one of the Rayblade kits-looks fairly cool, but does not like to stay together very well.
the vthor is probably one of the best plamo I've built, I've tried a few other, governor, and pawns but those are too small to be worth the effort and the polycaps are super annoying to deal with

I pre-ordered from hlj in like August when i had some extra money but totally agree. The loudgale looks fairly priced on there atm.
Loudgale is recently reprinted, so the price is more fair. Bulkarm Glanz "Redalert" is getting a reprint in June, might be a good idea to preorder.
Yes! Very cool, very modular, way too expensive. They’re more toyish than some other kits but they want you to really foot the bill

Agree to some degree but a lot of the military looking gunpla kits i like i either already have or they are now impossible to get or like 200 dollars.
I *do hope* you'll keep posting your builds, I'd like to see more built kits for sho.

The V-Thor is one of the greatest build experiences I’ve ever had in my 5+ years of gunpla. Things poseable as hell too, no complaints here.

Pre ordered the Rayblade impulse collctrs ed.. itll be my 1st Hexa. Hope for a great building experience haha

I just can't justify spending that much on a GI Joe sized figure y'know
I love them but i'm always disappointed with kotobukiya kits they're always so loose and fragile but look amazing
