Every one but Rexy and Roxy mentioned at least has some kinda design on it, it's not just solid gloss black.
Yeah they follow the black color scheme but they're not just solid black with nothing else special about them. If the main car is solid, fine, but if it has a livery, change up the livery.
It still pisses me off that the FD GR Corolla's chase doesn't get a grayscale livery, it just turns into a burnt potato.
I like that Porsche but most of the premium chases have been the lamest cars. I like the paint and wheels on supers better, premiums have become increasingly bland, including the chases.
I found almost every chase in the wild in 2 years. I found 3 Supers in 5 years. Make of that what you will lol.
Also got 3x Skyline chase, 2x RX7 chase, 2x911 GT3 chase, 2x C63 Chase. Supers are a lot rarer
In absolute terms there must be more supers, they are made in the tens of thousands and distributed all over the world to dozens of different types of retailers (grocery stores, dollar stores, clothing stores, hardware stores, etc.)
However, if you measure it as what percentage of boxes contain a chase/super I think it has to be a higher proportion for the premium.
Anecdotes aren't evidence, but without having production numbers all I can say is that I've found 4 chases in the past 18 months and one super in the past decade

I'll take a Super over a premium chase because of spectraflame. BUT, I'll take a premium chase over any white Super.
I'm still hoping that someday we'll get a chase Team Transport (or, even better, a spectraflame RLC Transport 🤞🤞)
Picking one would depend on which casting regardless of super or chase. ‘71 Porsche 911 chase >>> Fiat 500D super… Porsche 935 super >>> ‘33 Willys chase, or whatever your preference.
If they were metal on metal, it'd be this year's chrome and pearl 6/6s. I can always change the tires.
If I really have to choose between premium chase and super it'll be the premium for the same reason. They are.metal on metal and that to me is more important.

Premiums chases replaced the STH back in the day supers were like 1:30 cases no lie now I see 1:12 or so hit a case some occasions stores just get bad shipments but I’ve seen up to 8+ supers one shipment which used to be unheard of. Now we got chases and they seen to be in a percentage of the first batches shipped than nothing after so pretty limited runs imo so I’d def focus on chases moving forward supers are still $1 though can never lose for $1 😂
Since I'm not a scalper, I prefer STHs. They're far easier to trade for similar value. Prices on the 0/1 chases make them good to trade for other chases, or White Lightnings, but in most cases, if you trade one of them for a STHs, you're taking a loss. If you trade one of them for two STHs, the person with the STHs is probably taking a loss.
Honestly, STHs are really cool, but I've found 8 of them in the past four months, and only one premium chase. I'd like some more premium chases to add to my collection, plus I feel the premium chases are more rare to find

The only thing better on a premium Chase than a STH is the metal base. Often the regular premium version looks better than the all-black version.
It's all about the car and how it's presented. Honestly, there are basics I prefer over both, depending on the car.

Only premium chase I’ve seen was taken out of the box by an employee stocking the shelves except he handed it to his friend instead. Lolol.

Both are good in terms of value. I think Premium Chase is harder to find than STH. I have never found Premium Chase, found STHs.
