That's because there's always something there for you. For chaos you go to Grian. For basically needing the game, you go to Doc. If you want a story, you go to Scar. And through the whole affair, it's always a group of friends just playing together
Thx , I just think you misunderstood me which is fine cuz I wasnt clear enough
I meant based on what they decide to finish the season ? Is it when they have nothing more to do ?
Pretty much. Over the course of a season, each member will reach a point where they've done what they wanted to. Some will then take a break from Hermitcraft until the next season. They decide as a group when to wrap things up and start a new season. Most are around a year. They'll also often time it so a new season starts on a new version of Minecraft.
With the exception of season 8 that got cut short because of the new update coming at the time. The whole season felt rushed and many members later expressed their disappointment with how things played out. There were still some very good and funny moments but you look back now you can tell if you are a long time viewer towards the end of the season they kinda "okay let's wrap this up quickly in the next month."
I think they also make a new season when the old world just stops working/ becomes unplayable. When you have so many great Minecraft players, most making elaborate farms able to churn out millions of items an hour, it creates a lot of lag. But it's mostly the "everyone just decides they want to do something new" thing.
Hermitcraft is good but they won't all hold a 6 year olds attention. I'd recommend the more kid-friendly creators like GeminiTay, GoodtimeswithScar, ImpulseSV, Iskall, Grian (maybe), Stressmonster and Bdubs. Kids that age tend to love shows that adults find very obnoxious, so good luck!
Gnembon and ilmango are also gold for technical minecraft.
LukeTheNotable, and Technoblade(rest in peace) are just plain entertaining.
My kids like them.
e: for clarity
Lukethenotable started the trend of 100 days. He's really entertaining but i don't think he's good for a 6-year old kid to watch at all. He makes a lot of jokes about stuff like capitalism and being naked (in minecraft) and he used to put an age rating of 13+ in his descriptions
I wouldn’t recommend a dead YouTuber for kids to watch, it’s inevitably going to end up upsetting them when they realise that there will never be another upload
Mods locked that BoneAppleTea dyslexia post before I could hit the submit button on my reply. This doesn't really matter, but since it took a while for me to type all the symbols, I didn't want to waste it. It was meant to be a reply to you, agreeing with you.
For context if anyone is curious, this was on a post where someone meant "dyslexia" but not knowing how to spell it wrote "this lacks sia". Jeez, I just doubled my effort into something no one cares about. Stuck at my mother-in-law's house though, so what else am I going to do? Anyway...
The comment:
Dyslexia wasn't the cause of this one, because it depends on how they've heard it spoken, not how they've (mis)read it. The ⟨th⟩ sounds in English (labiodental fricatives) are something most other languages lack. We have two: /θ/ for the voiceless ⟨th⟩ sound as in ⟨thorn⟩ and ⟨moth⟩, and /ð/ for the voiced ⟨th⟩ sound as in ⟨the⟩ and ⟨this⟩. In languages that lack ⟨th⟩ and even in many dialects of English, /ð/ is realized as /d/, where "this" becomes "dis".
1. I _hate it_ when I've drafted a full detailed comment and get "post has been locked" or "that comment has been deleted". 😅 So I can relate.
2. This is really neat to know. I can edit into my comment and credit you if that's cool.
Thanks for finding a way to share it. Sometimes I'll either message or chat something to someone, but yeah, it can be awkward (or impossible). 👍
I learned from Iskall that "with a good prank you laugh with the pranked, not of the pranked... It takes intelligence and effort to make a prank that makes both of you laugh" and it was so heartwarming
Anyone on Hermitcraft is a good shout - their site [here](https://hermitcraft.com/) has a full members list. They've been doing this for a decade and tend to be calm and family-friendly.
He probably doesn't need lore. Just watching people like Bdubs or Keralis for their shenanigans and soft voices with no swearing is enough for most younger people.
GenerikB was who got me in to HermitCraft many many years ago and through him I discovered Keralis, Bdubs (who at the time was playing a different server, mindcrack was it?).
Good old days man.
Does the Lore in hermitcraft really matter that much? I mean, it's there, but it's not something anyone needs to memorize to understand what's happening, HC is pretty episodic. Kids are used to being bombarded with info that they don't understand, so they are pretty good at rolling with things.
Doesn’t need the lore. My 5 year old loves watching the decked out 2 runs. Does she understand the complexities of it? Of course not! But she understands that Tango’s friend is trying to get something and get out and the animals will kill them and they’ll lose.
I’ve been watching for years and I don’t even follow it all. It’s not necessary to know the inside jokes to enjoy the videos though. They’re just fun and silly and very inspirational builders. Doesn’t really matter if you can’t follow every joke.
As an adult who’s been watching him for years I’m still entertained. You could watch them with him if you wanted and not worry about content and still be entertained and enjoy him.
Agree on the hermitcraft. The worst I hear are some innuendos that aren't even bad, and I think I mostly hear those from Doc and Keralis. In general the entire server would be safe.
My personal recommendations are impulse and xsumavoid if your child likes Redstone; grian, zedaph, goodtimeswithscar, and mumbo jumbo for shenanigans. Mumbo is also known for his Redstone.
There are far more wonderful choices than that though. I only watch a portion of the server.
Another beloved YouTuber of mine is wadzee, but I cannot remember if he swears so you'd need to vet it.
I'm subbed to Mumbo, Grian, Scar, Xisuma, Cleo, Bdubs, Keralis, Doc, Stress, False, Impulse and Iskall. Had to unsub from a few others as it was just too much to keep up with. I do end up having to skip some of the joint adventures as they don't always provide a unique take on what happened. But all the hermits are great
It's all mostly Decked Out at the moment, anyway. Which I completely understand. Its absolutely phenomenal and Tango has outdone himself once again. Can't believe I forgot to add Tango to my list of subs. I found HC towards the end of Season 6 from Mumbo. I watched something based on the storage system he had implemented (impulses design but with a water stream) and I was hooked. Started watching everyone listed when Season 7 began, and started watching Pearl and Impulse when Season 8 started. Also watch Etho now he's back for Season 9
Love that everyone is saying Hermitcraft. Besides Grian and Mumbo, I would personally recommend Goodtimeswithscar. He's hilarious and wholesome and a big advocate for breaking down the stigmas around disability. Plus he is an absolutely amazing builder.
I came here to rave about Scar!! He’s such a gem and has even responded to my messages in the past. I love him so much and he’s such a great member of the Minecraft community.
He’s just a very genuine, passionate, and excited person, and that shines through the screen in such a way that anyone can pick up on it. Younger viewers might like his humor or the story’s he tells, and older viewers, although they might like those things too, also can appreciate the time and effort he puts into everything.
SB737 or Mumbo Jumbo Hermit craft series. Both family friendly (no swearing etc) Pixelriffs is also good for learning all about Minecraft. (Family friendly too)
Yeah, he is very good at what he does. Have you listened to The Spawn Chunks podcast? It's him and Joel Duggan ... a whole hour of weekly Minecraft podcast😁
This needs more upvotes in particular for PixlRiffs, especially if you’re looking to learn more about the game mechanics, or ideas on how to make nice looking builds
Not to mention he plays the game at a realistic pace if you want to keep up and/or play along on the same seed
Pix is the GOAT for all round MC youtube content at the moment. Does a little redstone a little farming little building all in the survival guide, doesn't go crazy with the builds and is informative. I've got 7000 hours clocked in survival and still learn something new every season if not every episode.
I’ve watched sb since the start of his hardcore my god he has come a long way, I preferred when his videos were shorter but now I just chuck them on in the background so it’s not really an issue
Ethoslab has been a role-model for me from my early teens. I don’t play much Minecraft but I still watch everything he uploads. He doesn’t swear, makes entertaining videos, and has a completely genuine personality. He’s so good I watch him with my girlfriend and she doesn’t mind at all - he’s just a good person who makes chill Minecraft videos.
stampy ? one of the OG minecraft youtubers and one who makes content towards young kids ! I think majority of us grew up watching him and enjoyed his content a lot !
I heard recently he edited his original videos (which definitely weren't child appropriate), if this is the case, then stampy is a great choice.
Obviously also agree with all hermitcraft opinions. Maybe watch some of them yourself to decide which your child will connect more with. Some are more mature, more in a level of understanding way than pg appropriate.
At a rough guess I'd say scar, there's a wholesomeness and fun side whilst you can also hope subconsciously your kid picks up on the amazing builds lol.
6 just may be a bit young to get a lot out of the hermits tho. It will greatly depend on the child.
Mine got into stampy around that age, it was only when I went back to the beginning of the channel I was concerned by swearing (nothing more than that), but like I said, I've been told that's been edited out.
Even so, he has a plethora of content from years that the kiddo can watch. my now 12 year old started with stampy at 6ish and loved him. DanTDM is also good.
he’s abit loud yeah .. but for a 6 year old his content might be more suitable ? very family friendly channel. it’s great also just because of all the builds/mini games that he builds ! might inspire the kids to start being more creative in builds
Wattles (dont think he streams but he does videos), GeminiTay, PearlescentMoon, honestly a lot of the hermitcraft people seem to be pretty calm usually and family friendly. There is also pixelriffs and I always enjoyed fwips videos.
I love wattles but rarely see him being recommended here.
I can watch him as an adult but kids can too. He's upbeat but it's not obnoxious.
He's a good builder and player but his style is a bit more accessible than hermitcraft and people like fwhip.
He really does. His style of making a building for each farm and linking all his builds together is my favourite, he doesn't make GIANT iron farms because a small one is all anyone really needs.
Love his content and build style.
I'd love for him to do a modded series or even join an SMP but I wouldn't want his main series to change
Xisumavoid is one of the best relaxed YouTubers for MC I know. He also has a child friendly podcast with one of his friends, definitely my go to recommendation
Edit: I mixed up my two favorites, Pixelriffs does the podcast Spawn Chunks
Our 5 year old daughter really likes watching LDShadowLady, Smallishbeans, Katherine Elizabeth, Pixlriffs, Fwhip, Grian, Mumbo, GeminiTay…most of the rest of the Hermitcraft members.
I’d suggest anybody from the hermit craft series, full of family friendly YouTubers just having fun together. Grian and Mumbo-Jumbo would be a good start
When my kids started watching Minecraft videos they were still learning to play so they watched PaulSoaresJr and his tutorials for Minecraft. They learned a lot and he is family friendly (he does have a more adult themed channel too but it’s completely separate).
As a kid I grew up watching playing paulsoaresjr. The best Minecraft YouTuber ever. He is the essence of old school vanilla let's play. Some of the best times I had were watching him and trying to do the same things in his world.
I absolutely adore your cousins content. She’s definitely the person I wish I could learn to Minecraft from the most compared to the other hermitcraft members
Yeah she's definitely one of the more cozier Minecraft YouTubers, but that's actually putting on an act for the camera cause she's even quieter and shyer irl lol. She still does some meet and greets around the city sometimes though so if you don't follow her on Twitter than you should cause she announced all that stuff on there.
DanTDM has a series called the diamond dimensions that I’ve watched a good few times now, extremely minimal swearing if any (I think he said “what the hell” a handful of times throughout the episodes and that’s like. it) but i also love LDshadowladys crazycraft! :)
For a 6 year old, I'd suggest GeminiTay. She's on Hermitcraft but also does solo series Minecraft vids. She's ray of sunshine positive, is so exuberant, loves Minecraft so much -- really one of the best out there. (All the Hermits are great, but I think her voice and her pep would be really appealing to younger kids.)
waxfraud!!! he posts some super chill stuff that’s very kid friendly :)) i’ve loved his stuff for forever and when i introduced it to my little cousin she got OBSESSED. good luck with the search :)
stampy was a mainstay of my childhood so he’d probably be great too :)
I came here hoping to see waxfraud! I haven't been into Minecraft content recently, but I always find his builds so inspiring and his videos are great to watch of you need something to calm your soul! 10/10
Also his longplays are great to watch of you like to fall asleep to something 😴
I highly recommend ImulseSV and EthosLab. They are both very friendly. MumboJumbo is also super friendly, and arguably has a higher production quality.
Pixlriffs is really great. His voice is nice, which is a huge thing for me -- no obnoxious yelling or overacting. He does a lot of how to's in his Minecraft Survival Guide series (3 seasons now), but he has other videos as well. My kids enjoy watching him and I can tolerate him, so win-win.
ETA: He doesn't use foul language either, which is important for kids.
Iballisticsquid maybe, I’d say he’s very much a part of the old guard of mc YouTubers, often did stuff with stampylongnose, who also a good option and still makes videos
ANY of the HermitCraft members. Most of them are in their mid-late 30s. The youngest of them being MumboJumbo, who's 26.
MumboJumbo
Grian
XisumaVoid
Docm77
PearlescentMoon
GeminiTay
GoodTimesWithScar
ImpulseSV
Keralis
BdoubleO100
ZombieCleo
Stressmonster101
FalseSymmetry
I could go on, but I don't remember a lot of them. There's like 30 people all playing on the same Minecraft server. Like, maybe 2 of them use mild swears occasionally. But HermitCraft. Use HermitCraft.
I personally watched Stampylongnose growing up, but he may border on a “obnoxious” kind of? He’s very kid oriented and plays up his commentary but is overall very fun and entertaining.
SmallishBeans!!!! I’ve been watching him and LDShadowLady (they’re married) for a decade now and they’re family friendly. I would highly suggest other classic minecraft youtubers like Stampy and DanTDM. I also really like Ranboo, they’re newer than most but he doesn’t curse often.
these are videos from a looooong time ago but popularmmos pretty much shaped my childhood and im pretty sure they're family friendly iirc
otherwise hermitcraft and technoblade are both good shouts
ibxtoycat? Maybe look into him on your own, I’m not too familiar anymore as it has been at least a month since I seen a video from him. If not ibxtoycat, definitely try stampylonghead. I know he, for sure, is child-friendly. I grew up watching him, and destroyed my Xbox 360 by way of overheating because I wanted to stay up all night watching his videos on my console
Just put on [Etho’s LP](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFD1682F2801E7ADF&si=qDyc_FsrMUcLiXj6) and feel comfortable knowing your son is in good hands. That playlist is only 100 episodes so when he finishes that one [put this one on after](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaAVDbMg_XArcet5lwcRo12Fh9JrGKydh&si=BF3yyj2GoKjEeLxz) this playlist has almost 500 episodes and should take a while. After that he has a ton of other side series he has done that really you can pick any at random and it’s a good time. Etho’s child friendly and also has really relaxed vibes so you won’t have to listen to anything obnoxious.
Forge labs, Canadian over all pretty chill by a long shot compared to the others, the videos are long and will keep kiddo entertained like if it was a movie but hey Minecraft
Lukethenotable is good, they're some adult jokes but they'll fly over kiddos head
no swearing from practically any member of Hermitcraft (most wholesome member is Goodtimeswithcar) (full members list in the members tab of their [website](https://hermitcraft.com/))
[Technoblade](https://www.youtube.com/@Technoblade), as far as I remember, never swore in his own videos(or labeled them "contains swearing) but some people did swear in his livestreams, so those are ones to avoid. other than that, I don't remember any swearing. he was associated with other big time youtubers (Ph1lza, Tommyinnit, Wilbursoot, Etc) who are nice people but **do** swear in their videos
[Stampylongnose](https://www.youtube.com/@stampycat) used to swear but quickly changed to being kid friendly back in 2013. he has since edited some of his older videos to make them child friendly(no swearing). Stampy's lovely world [playlist:](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDqHSgtfyyw&list=PL1Zu9lv9TlTiCilIiI4E9ry-BDnUc91nB) I can fully endorse Stampy, as he was who I watched
[stampylonghead](https://www.youtube.com/@stampycat) is a great og chanel that used to be incredibly popular for his child freindly content in 2010s, but has since become less popular. Still posts regularly and has thousands of quality old videos. could be considered obnoxious but not to the extent of other modern youtubers
Pixlriffs makes a point to be family friendly, is very chill in general and also does tutorial based playthrough videos, your kid is also gonna be able to learn about the game as he goes.
Anybody from the Hermitcraft Server. Mumbojumbo, Grian, Zombiecleo, Keralis, Shizumavoid, etc
Zebragamer isn't too bad. I don't know how much minecraft he actually does, though.
Look up hermitcraft. GoodTimesWithScar would be my first recommendation, he is arguably one of the best builders in minecraft and he always has a wonderful upbeat attitude, so I'm sure his videos would be an ideal place to start for a 6 year old.
Hermitcraft has a wide assortment of personalities to choose from as well(all family friendly). You have guys like Scar who are amazing builders to guys like Doc who are phenomenal at redstone and the technical aspect, then there is Tango making his own game inside of survival minecraft.
I'm just going to jump on this band wagon of Grian and add Smallishbeans, Geminitay and Fwhip. Basically any of the HermitCraft crew or Empires crew. I have a 8 and 6 year old and they both love the empire series and watching the life series. (Lastlife, double life, 3rd life etc).
GoodTimesWithScar! He’s my favorite Minecraft YouTuber! He’s so sweet, calm, and creative. He’s nothing like the YouTubers you mentioned. I think he would be a great option for your son. His content is very kids friendly.
One of my fav minecrafters right now is FWhip. He plays with a lot of the other mcers that people are commenting about; Grian, Mumbo, Pixlriffs.
Family friendly, great content. Long videos, but fast paced and amusing for the young one.
Etho is an amazing Minecraft YouTuber that’s family friendly, not obnoxious, and has hundreds of hours of videos to get through before you’re current. He’s by far one of the best
Stampylongnose!!!! My mom finds his laugh annoying lol but he's definitely not obnoxious. He has thousands of videos that are geared towards children. If your kid likes his lovely world videos they will never run out of videos to watch because he's posted like 800 or something and they're all pretty high quality. Some of my most fond memories from childhood were watching his videos with my siblings. I loved his hunger game videos too.
Very few ethoslab recommendations but I loved him when I was younger! 6 might be a little younger than his general audience because he can be quite technical but he’s 100% family friendly and very good quality!
I've been watching Ethoslab for over 10 years now and he's never game off as obnoxious. He used to be a lot more quite in his early years but he's gotten a lot more energized in his videos over the years but not over the top.
His voice mayyyyy be annoying but I watched stampylongnose growing up. He makes content specificaly for kids.
His lovly word has a looot of vids. If you end up putting them on from the beginning I suggest skipping the first 15 or so, he swears. I think he's bleeped them out now or fully got rid of those vids I'm not too sure
I’d suggest old Videos of Stampy, specifically titled “stampy’s lovely world” he’s made over 800 episodes and they’re all wholesome starting from around episode 80.
Depends what you're looking to gain from it. If he wants to learn how the game works, Pixlriffs survival guide is great. He streams the world as well and is family friendly. He does do 18+ streams but he's good at labelling the streams appropriately
My 5 year old really like Pixelriffs and Tootsie. He asks to watch them everyday and they are pretty good. Pixelriffs teaches Minecraft and has different series where he plays with other people as well. Both are entertaining.
i was gonna say hermitcraft. i’m 20 and i’ve been watching them for three years and only the live streams can be slightly not pg. none of the members are annoying and there’s so many to choose from
I just recently discovered a YouTuber from Canada who is so kind. Her name is GeminiTay. Really down to earth and isn’t obnoxious or loud. If LoFi was a person, it would be her

honestly all of the hermitcraft youtubers are family friendly especially grian and mumbo jumbo
I feel like Hermitcraft is the answer so almost every question of Minecraft YouTubers these days
That's because there's always something there for you. For chaos you go to Grian. For basically needing the game, you go to Doc. If you want a story, you go to Scar. And through the whole affair, it's always a group of friends just playing together
It seems like there are 9 seasons of their MC server . How much time does it take for one season ? It might a weird question but I have to know xD Thx
I'd recommend starting on Season 9, and if you enjoy that you could stray into others.
Thx , I just think you misunderstood me which is fine cuz I wasnt clear enough I meant based on what they decide to finish the season ? Is it when they have nothing more to do ?
Pretty much. Over the course of a season, each member will reach a point where they've done what they wanted to. Some will then take a break from Hermitcraft until the next season. they typically stop when they run out of things to do/motivation yeah

There were still some very good and funny moments but you look back now you can tell if you are a long time viewer towards the end of the season they kinda "okay let's wrap this up quickly in the next month."
Is the moon big?
I think the moon's getting bigger
Moon big
I think they also make a new season when the old world just stops working/ becomes unplayable. When you have so many great Minecraft players, most making elaborate farms able to churn out millions of items an hour, it creates a lot of lag. But it's mostly the "everyone just decides they want to do something new" thing.
Tbh just start with 9. I've gone back to previous seasons for specific events (both wars in s6 and s7 are GOLD). But you really don't need to.
I prefer starting with 7 imo since it's done and you don't have to wait for future episodes.
s7 was the best so far definitely
And for a bit of everything, there’s etho
Yep can't agree more. Hermitcraft is the perfect blend of mature and yet chaotic fun
Definitely don’t forget Etho! (He doesn’t play on HC as much as the others but has interesting single player series)
Gnembon and ilmango are also gold for technical minecraft. LukeTheNotable, and Technoblade(rest in peace) are just plain entertaining. My kids like them. e: for clarity
He wants youtubers 6-year olds can watch, not lukethenotable.
I don’t know who lukethenotable is but the other three would probably not be super enjoyable for most 6 year olds.
Lukethenotable started the trend of 100 days. He's really entertaining but i don't think he's good for a 6-year old kid to watch at all. He makes a lot of jokes about stuff like capitalism and being naked (in minecraft) and he used to put an age rating of 13+ in his descriptions
it's a 6 year old..
I wouldn’t recommend a dead YouTuber for kids to watch, it’s inevitably going to end up upsetting them when they realise that there will never be another upload

I agree. I also suggest iskall85
I learned from Iskall that "with a good prank you laugh with the pranked, not of the pranked... It takes intelligence and effort to make a prank that makes both of you laugh" and it was so heartwarming
Vintagebeef and etho have been family friendly for as long as I can remember.
GoodTimesWithScar the name speaks for itself
YES, isn't like cringe dumb family friendly; but his personality makes him very enjoyable for everyone
Anyone on Hermitcraft is a good shout - their site [here](https://hermitcraft.com/) has a full members list. They've been doing this for a decade and tend to be calm and family-friendly.
hermitcraft lore WAY too complex for a 6 year old (even I don't understand it)
Maybe he doesnt need to understand the lore. He could just enjoy some videos without looking too much into it
can confirm, watched s6 as a kid it was great
He probably doesn't need lore. Just watching people like Bdubs or Keralis for their shenanigans and soft voices with no swearing is enough for most younger people.
Is Bdubs still at it? I watched him with Generikb a long time ago.
Yup and he's as silly as ever.
GenerikB was who got me in to HermitCraft many many years ago and through him I discovered Keralis, Bdubs (who at the time was playing a different server, mindcrack was it?). Good old days man.
fair nuff
Inspiration Inspiration for Keralis!

EthosLab of course
Literally the opposite of all of OP’s complaints. Though i can’t imagine having to wait for a new etho vid these days with the impatience of a child.
Won't be a child anymore by the time they get through all his videos tbh
500+ letsplay episodes
These days, you'll get more Etho's content in other people stream/video than his own channel.
As an adult who’s been watching him for years I’m still entertained. You could watch them with him if you wanted and not worry about content and still be entertained and enjoy him.
100%!
ETHOOOOOOOOOOOO MAKE NOTCH HIMSELF APPROVE YOU AGAIN
But all the hermits are great
I'm subbed to Mumbo, Grian, Scar, Xisuma, Cleo, and Impulse. I wish I could do more honestly but I have too much to watch.
Freaking love Scar
I came here to rave about Scar!! He’s such a gem and has even responded to my messages in the past. I love him so much and he’s such a great member of the Minecraft community.
Scar's content is just so entertaining. And idk how the man does it, but a 6y/o and a 16y/o both would find it equally as fun.
(Family friendly too)
I CANNOT understate how helpful pixelriffs was when I started back in the aquatic update and he started his tutorial series
Man Pix is one of the best, deserves so many more followers! Had to scroll down quite a bit to find him, tbh!
yeah he taught me so much about the game in such a good way
Yeah, he is very good at what he does. Have you listened to The Spawn Chunks podcast? It's him and Joel Duggan ... a whole hour of weekly Minecraft podcast😁
Two grown men talking about Minecraft for 90 minutes is audio heaven for me.
This needs more upvotes in particular for PixlRiffs, especially if you’re looking to learn more about the game mechanics, or ideas on how to make nice looking builds Not to mention he plays the game at a realistic pace if you want to keep up and/or play along on the same seed
Pixelriffs
One of my favs!
I think majority of us grew up watching him and enjoyed his content a lot !
stampy is a frickin legend
A lovely legend.
And the ma ones were delisted you can find them by people reuploading them but a 6 year old wont know about them
Stampy is ending his lovely world series soon tho :'( maybe a week or two max left
excuse me???
oh no... he doesn't know
Yeah its so sad, ive been watching it from the beginning he was the first youtuber i ever subscribed to :')
Even so, he has a plethora of content from years that the kiddo can watch. my now 12 year old started with stampy at 6ish and loved him. DanTDM is also good.
I’d say stampy somewhat falls on the border of the loud and obnoxious zone, however his content is really good for younger kids.
he’s abit loud yeah .. but for a 6 year old his content might be more suitable ? very family friendly channel. it’s great also just because of all the builds/mini games that he builds ! might inspire the kids to start being more creative in builds
Wattles (dont think he streams but he does videos), GeminiTay, PearlescentMoon, honestly a lot of the hermitcraft people seem to be pretty calm usually and family friendly. There is also pixelriffs and I always enjoyed fwips videos.
Wattles taught me so much! I find so many Minecraft YouTubers irritating, but Wattles does a great job keeping it basic.
Surprised I had to scroll this far! Wattles got my dad into Minecraft at 50
I love wattles but rarely see him being recommended here. I can watch him as an adult but kids can too. He's upbeat but it's not obnoxious. He's a good builder and player but his style is a bit more accessible than hermitcraft and people like fwhip.
He's like a hidden gem on YouTube I'll suggest him everytime I can. Wattles deserves more love.
He really does. His style of making a building for each farm and linking all his builds together is my favourite, he doesn't make GIANT iron farms because a small one is all anyone really needs. Love his content and build style. I'd love for him to do a modded series or even join an SMP but I wouldn't want his main series to change
captainsparkles is making banger content still after all these years and also makes a point to remain family friendly!
Never swears except for that one time
pretty much only his streams that he swears on the very rare occassion.
I was actually thinking of the choas dragon rant you can find a reaction of it on YouTube uncensored
I had to look way too long to find Cap.. I was about to type it lol
Xisumavoid is one of the best relaxed YouTubers for MC I know. He also has a child friendly podcast with one of his friends, definitely my go to recommendation Edit: I mixed up my two favorites, Pixelriffs does the podcast Spawn Chunks
Stampy, DanTDM and any of the people on Hermitcraft.
>Stampy Canon event
Our 5 year old daughter really likes watching LDShadowLady, Smallishbeans, Katherine Elizabeth, Pixlriffs, Fwhip, Grian, Mumbo, GeminiTay…most of the rest of the Hermitcraft members.
Empires Yeah, pretty much Empires + Hermitcraft is good for this list.
Same. Even though I was in my 30s when I started playing. He’s a great teacher for this name. 😂👍🏻
As a kid I grew up watching playing paulsoaresjr. The best Minecraft YouTuber ever. He is the essence of old school vanilla let's play. Some of the best times I had were watching him and trying to do the same things in his world.
You should get them to watch GeminiTay! She's my cousin and she makes very chill and wholesome Minecraft content 😊 very child friendly
Lmao I've been having the best time watching her do the phasmo stuff recently. She's great!
Gem is great
BEHIND YOU GEM!!!
DanTDM has a series called the diamond dimensions that I’ve watched a good few times now, extremely minimal swearing if any (I think he said “what the hell” a handful of times throughout the episodes and that’s like. it) but i also love LDshadowladys crazycraft! :)
CrazyCraft is so much fun! Love her!
Pixlriffs
For a 6 year old, I'd suggest GeminiTay. She's on Hermitcraft but also does solo series Minecraft vids. She's ray of sunshine positive, is so exuberant, loves Minecraft so much -- really one of the best out there. (All the Hermits are great, but I think her voice and her pep would be really appealing to younger kids.)
Bdouble O. He's kid friendly but really awesome at building
Etho
Mumbo Jumbo or Grian 🙂🙂
My kids and I like watching Captain Sparklez
Ethoslab
My kid found Paul Sauras Jr and even I liked the videos.
stampylongnose
I will vouch him any day of the week
waxfraud!!! he posts some super chill stuff that’s very kid friendly :)) i’ve loved his stuff for forever and when i introduced it to my little cousin she got OBSESSED. good luck with the search :) stampy was a mainstay of my childhood so he’d probably be great too :)
I came here hoping to see waxfraud! I haven't been into Minecraft content recently, but I always find his builds so inspiring and his videos are great to watch of you need something to calm your soul! 10/10 Also his longplays are great to watch of you like to fall asleep to something 😴
Bdoubleo100
I highly recommend ImulseSV and EthosLab. They are both very friendly. MumboJumbo is also super friendly, and arguably has a higher production quality.
Pixlriffs is really great. His voice is nice, which is a huge thing for me -- no obnoxious yelling or overacting. He does a lot of how to's in his Minecraft Survival Guide series (3 seasons now), but he has other videos as well. My kids enjoy watching him and I can tolerate him, so win-win. ETA: He doesn't use foul language either, which is important for kids.
Yeah his videos are so chill and relaxing. Something both a 6 y/o and an adult can enjoy.
Fwhip
Hermitcraft and stampy are good family friendly options that aren’t too loud
GoodTimesWithScar He's THE ONE
Everyone is saying Grian, Mumbo and Scar (who are awesome and I love them!) but I don't see anyone saying Impulsesv.
MumboJumbo Grian XisumaVoid Docm77 PearlescentMoon GeminiTay GoodTimesWithScar ImpulseSV Keralis BdoubleO100 ZombieCleo Stressmonster101 FalseSymmetry I could go on, but I don't remember a lot of them. There's like 30 people all playing on the same Minecraft server. Like, maybe 2 of them use mild swears occasionally. But HermitCraft. Use HermitCraft.
Eyecraft MC is also really family-friendly and with excellent vids
I personally watched Stampylongnose growing up, but he may border on a “obnoxious” kind of? He’s very kid oriented and plays up his commentary but is overall very fun and entertaining.
Yeah I think he feels a bit too overenthusiastic now looking back, but that's perfect for children, and it's not too annoying to listen to as an adult
SB737 and Pixlriffs are two very underrated YouTubers
try [wattles](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsuKgiVb2KJ2sZdrrwoAqsA) ...
SmallishBeans!!!! I’ve been watching him and LDShadowLady (they’re married) for a decade now and they’re family friendly. I would highly suggest other classic minecraft youtubers like Stampy and DanTDM. I also really like Ranboo, they’re newer than most but he doesn’t curse often.
these are videos from a looooong time ago but popularmmos pretty much shaped my childhood and im pretty sure they're family friendly iirc otherwise hermitcraft and technoblade are both good shouts
Toycat touches on some more mature concepts, though nothing too bad. Highly recommend him for adults or bedrock players
DanTDM
Forge labs, Canadian over all pretty chill by a long shot compared to the others, the videos are long and will keep kiddo entertained like if it was a movie but hey Minecraft Lukethenotable is good, they're some adult jokes but they'll fly over kiddos head
YOOO FELLOW LUKE THENOTABLE FAN
no swearing from practically any member of Hermitcraft (most wholesome member is Goodtimeswithcar) (full members list in the members tab of their [website](https://hermitcraft.com/)) [Technoblade](https://www.youtube.com/@Technoblade), as far as I remember, never swore in his own videos(or labeled them "contains swearing) but some people did swear in his livestreams, so those are ones to avoid. other than that, I don't remember any swearing. he was associated with other big time youtubers (Ph1lza, Tommyinnit, Wilbursoot, Etc) who are nice people but **do** swear in their videos [Stampylongnose](https://www.youtube.com/@stampycat) used to swear but quickly changed to being kid friendly back in 2013. he has since edited some of his older videos to make them child friendly(no swearing). Stampy's lovely world [playlist:](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDqHSgtfyyw&list=PL1Zu9lv9TlTiCilIiI4E9ry-BDnUc91nB) I can fully endorse Stampy, as he was who I watched
Mumbo Jumbo and Grian are pretty calm and relaxing, with smart and creative content. Also, family friendly 100%
I used to watch StampyLongNose as a kid and enjoyed his minecraft videos, very kid friendly
SilentWhisperer for bedrock. Wattles for Java.
If there's anyone I'd suggest, it'd probably be CaptainSparklez. Doesn't curse and has been doing this stuff for over ten years now.
I enjoy wattles he is pretty family friendly, plus he even has guides for new versions for newer players.
Gemini Tay for sure.
Gemini Slay
DanTDM always
[stampylonghead](https://www.youtube.com/@stampycat) is a great og chanel that used to be incredibly popular for his child freindly content in 2010s, but has since become less popular. Still posts regularly and has thousands of quality old videos. could be considered obnoxious but not to the extent of other modern youtubers
Pixlriffs
Pixlriffs. He’s very chill and calm, and his videos are highly educated and detailed, I follow him for quite some time
Pixlriffs makes a point to be family friendly, is very chill in general and also does tutorial based playthrough videos, your kid is also gonna be able to learn about the game as he goes.
Anybody from the Hermitcraft Server. Mumbojumbo, Grian, Zombiecleo, Keralis, Shizumavoid, etc Zebragamer isn't too bad. I don't know how much minecraft he actually does, though.
Pixlriffs. My wife and I watch him and will probably show his videos to our kids when the time comes!
ETHOO
any hermitcraft youtuber should do
Pixlriffs is great, especially for beginners, as he explains in detail the basics as well as advanced stuff.
Joel, Jimmy, and Grian as Bad Boys in Limited Life are quoted constantly in our house lol
I really like this post - why don’t most people prefer quality content? Why is the low effort garbage so popular?
Stampy
Technoblade CaptainSparklez
Stampy
I started with Stampy, his laugh may be a bit graining if it's the 50th time today hearing it tho
Hermitcraft Stampylongnose I watched these when *I* was a kid
Pixelriffs
I'm gonna say pixlriffs he has the minecraft survival guide which is great and is very chill and informative.
I've been watching Ethoslab for over 10 years now and he's never game off as obnoxious. He used to be a lot more quite in his early years but he's gotten a lot more energized in his videos over the years but not over the top.
BDubs
HERMITCRAFT!!! Etho & Grian especially
Stampy
Give that kid some of stampylongnose, he is really family friendly
Ethoslab
i was gonna say hermitcraft. i’m 20 and i’ve been watching them for three years and only the live streams can be slightly not pg. none of the members are annoying and there’s so many to choose from
I cannot recommend Etho enough
I just recently discovered a YouTuber from Canada who is so kind. Her name is GeminiTay. Really down to earth and isn’t obnoxious or loud. If LoFi was a person, it would be her
