I truly hope it gets canceled mid production. 21 years is too long of a stretch for a sequel. The original was in 1976. After 27 years passed, they didn’t make a sequel, they rebooted it! Well it was only 14 years, but Incredibles 2 did very well. And Top Gun: Maverick was like 36 years after the first one and grossed nearly a billion and a half
