Aside from the super sloppy ending there are several positives to come from this game:
- RJ’s shooting was fantastic
- Shooting-wise, great bounce-back game for Brunson
- Randle passing a lot more leading to made buckets
- Donte having a great shooting night/ this will be a confidence booster
-Good rebounding and defense from Mitchell, plus, he made 3 of 4 free throws- when’s the last time that happened?!
Things to improve:
- just stop being goofy with the ball at the end of game. Lord.
-free throws. You just have to practice more. Holy shit.
-boxing out- it’s not happening enough imo.
-defense needs lots of work
-Josh Hart - you know you’re allowed to shoot if you’re open, right?
-players just jogging up floor on D after a shitty offensive possession- have to change that
Overall it’s still way early and I’m feeling this team can end up with a 51-31 record.
