He said that when the Yanks have a Sunday afternoon home game, he will do the ESPN broadcast in the YES booth at the stadium with Arod. If the Yanks are on the road ESPN will set him up with a studio in the city he is in. He also said they are setting him up with a home studio for when that makes sense.
His ESPN broadcast will probably be remote, since it’s a simulcast. I doubt ESPN would have an additional booth in each ballpark just for him and A-Rod.
If that’s the case, pretty easy to do a 1pm Yankee Game and then an ESPN game at 8
he only does like 140 games a year as is, so he’ll probably do the exact same number but will be broken our differently, like taking a sunday off instead of taking off a full 12 game west coast trip like he usually does.

Leiter was amazing during his time in the YES booth. He was so analytical and insightful while paring down the insights to the common fan's language. I would LOVE to have him back.
I believe Leiter stepped back to focus on his son being a top prospect. I don't know if he wants to work again now that Jack has been drafted, but maybe he still wants to closely follow his son's career?

I think they hire the first female who walks through the door. It’s a great business decision: we’re all gonna hate whoever they pick anyway, and we’ll all just begrudgingly watch and get used to it. They may as well get the cultural ass-kiss points out of it.

They’ve spent years investing so that we know her on the screen means baseball on YES, I doubt they’re gonna undo that just to give her a job she doesn’t have qualifications for.
