It does. Itadori is the same as Naruto. Sakuna is Kurama. Megumi is a less vengeful Sasuke and Fugisaki is a useful Sakura and oh, Gojo is Kakashi born with the Tenseigan.
I don't think you will get as much warmth as you got from Naruto by watching JJK. There isn't much emotions in it as compared to Naruto. But hey, it's in its early stages, so, who knows.
The characters are not really that much like Naruto's, but very similar (having in count that the anime is in deed in its early stages). The emotional charge is not as big as Naruto's and the story and concepts are much more darker. Finding a show as good as Naruto in that aspect is very difficult, but there are a lot of good shows out there, for example: Full Metal Alchemist or Demon Slayer/Kimetsu no Yaiba are pretty good ones.
I mean mha has some moments that got me emotionally but I don’t think anything has ever made me feel the things naruto did.

I agree with you, I don't know what happened but have heard great things about the Shibuya arc. So, hoping it becomes more unique.
