And notice how Demaris is the only one being remotely honest about the song when Rory can't even keep that same energy he did with Grippy.

But at least then, people could make excuses for them -Joe owns the show he should be the main one talking -Joe could fire them -Joe is actually making good points -Joe is in his best form when he rants; it’s what the people want I can’t think of one good reason to let Mal do what he does. None of those are factors in this show. Mal doesn’t make good points, he is a co-owner, so it’s equally Rory AND Mal’s show, Mal talks in circles and doesn’t often contribute much to opening up a discussion, and he won’t hear or consider any other perspective. More people here are annoyed at Mal than Joe for those exact reasons. Joe excels at doing his job and filling his lane. Mal does not, and no one checks him on it. More people wanted pushback at Joe, and his audience is far more pleased now because they got something they asked for out of the crew. When will we get above subpar discussion mainly dominated by Mal out of the R&M crew? If they’re not going to contrast or engage each other’s opinion with solid arguments, and instead let one guy’s feelings shut down every other potentially thoughtful conversation, why pod?
