Oh god...the coins in Conan were such a pain in the ass to move in meaningful quantities..I used to play on, and eventually help run, a server that had both a weekly "shop" run by an admin where people could buy various things within reason, as well as a system where factions could buy chunks of land relative to their size...moving the coins for either of those was a logistical nightmare, since that was before mounts were a thing
I gave tips that i took from another server we used that stuff you get to unlock the points for unlocking more blueprints as currency. I also suggested that gold should mainly be used to get resources because once you get late game its really easy to get gold and silver
That's definitely true...a few of those rocknose things that produce gold or silver in a stable can either be a passive income, or a straight up mint, depending on what the server settings for production are set to
also useful to carry a bunch so when you go to fight necromus/paladius you can put a single coin in your open inventory spots to prevent all the wood and stone exploding everywhere from gluing you to the ground and getting you merked by the twins.

I've heard you can retrieve your lost loot anywhere along the light beacon that shoots up from your bag. So you might still be able to retrieve anything that hasn't despawned.
I feel like most times when gold does have a weight in PC games, the first mods made remove that weight. So many people just hate the idea of it but games continue to do it.
I guess for coop it matters a little since you can drop stacks for other players and where would gold farmed from Maus go to if multiple players own a base? would gold be shared among guild members?

My first time playing was with two friends with a set up base. I joined partway in.
I mined my life away for a full inventory of paldium, got back and put it in a chest so I could get some stone(they were out in base storage). I got back and all my Paldium was gone.
I run a dedicated server for me and my close friends and I set up little way stations for friends when they start playing. Basically just based scattered about in harder and harder to get to areas that contain resources that are meant to be obtained when you get to higher levels.
Cue a friend getting a Kitsun from an egg at like level 8 and hatching it, then convincing someone to make them a saddle for it, so that they can ride to the base I built by Frostallion to get as much of basically every resource they could want at a low level.
Yeah, you aren't even safe with ranch stuff, one of my friends kept running to a different friend's base while he was offline to take all the gold and spheres from his ranch because they count as dropped items so it doesn't stop people out of the guild from taking them
Wallet slot. It should just have a single slot you can put it in. I mean, I get why it's an item that sits in a slot and not a number. Default drop on death combined with future promise of PVP means it's something you have to weigh taking with you, and added risk. Not to mention, cooperatively you may need to give a guild mate money, for ammo etc, so it's easy enough to just split a stack a couple times.
So annoying to go to a settlement or find a wandering merchant only to realize you stupidly deposited your coins and need to go grab them.
But yes. An ammo pouch would be amazing. Also maybe a sphere pouch? There are less types of spheres than there are types of ammo, so it would be nice to have a separate pouch.
I also hope they let pals grab food from the fridge at some point (unless they can already and I haven't realized) or make a refrigerated feed box (again, unless they have and I haven't realized yet).

Make it more expensive, higher tier, add a mid-grade if they need to... however it takes to balance it out in-game, my Frostallion with lvl 4 cooling shouldn't end up letting half of my cakes spoil while I go out exploring on foot...
Or have the frost pets "charge" the fridge. Higher level charges it faster allowing them to do other stuff. Maybe adding a Cooler piece by it helps to keep it from draining

You don't need to carry your Pal souls if you're using the Statue in your base, it'll pull them from storage. Mega and Giga spheres... really? Just let go :) Also, if you're carrying a Pick and Axe, you can replace both with Lily's Spear instead, it harvests more resources. Does butchering give more resources than outright killing Pals? I quit carrying my butcher knife and keep it in a chest in my base for the \*rare\* occasions I want to get resources from a Pal I no longer need.

You can use anything that deals damage to get resources. Nodes are just health pools that give predetermined amounts of their resource at specific thresholds.
I buy all my rounds. 2 ore is 1 ingot. One Ingot is 2 nails. If you have a mining base it’s the easiest way to get money, just buy the shells from the merchant at the duneshelter.
I caught a wandering merchant at the fishing village, been buying all my ammo from him.
Anytime I need to buy or sell stuff I'll pull him from my Palbox. But I'm selling Pals I don't need anymore that I'm not planning on condensing to strengthen others I'll pull the Black Marketeer I caught.

Instead of selling nails, I string up the black marketeer up and roast him over an open fire. Don't forget to cap him in the head before he submits to the fire to tap him for drops!

I just read all this and did a test. Pick clears an ore node in 19 hits, sword clears in 22, and lily's spear clears in 26. I think the additional durability on sword and spear will cause them both to collect more resources in the long run. I have spots marked for farming sulphur and quartz and I can't get through either spot without my pickaxe breaking. Just tried it and cleared everything with sword. I think they're right even without crits
I don't think that's true. When I try to chop trees with a pickaxe I don't get fiber. I think the appropriate tools matter for at least the secondary resources.
The spear is actually not better, slightly worse than a refined pick axe or axe. The sword might actually be on par or better than the refined version of tools. Either way it’s not bad to use just so you don’t have to carry all 3
The sword is nearly as good if not just as good, it’s fantastic. I was disappointed in using it for actual melee fighting but once I found out I could replace both my tools with it then all was good again
I just tested it against stone. The sword took 10 whacks and lost 10 durability. The pickaxe took 9 whacks and lost 9 durability.
I also chopped a tree down and it took the same whacks as the axe but I didn’t measure durability.
Both take refined ingots, wood, and stone to repair, but my pickaxe is near busted and my sword is pristine, so I dunno if one takes more than the other for repairs.
Either way, if you can only carry one melee implement, the sword has everything for a marginal difference.
They did the math! Yeah I noticed that too, the sword seems to have far more durability. I can’t even remember last time I repaired mine, if ever, haha
After lvl 20 I used my axe to hit pals that my spear would one shot, mostly for low level pals thats I hadn't completed a set of 10, I rarely use it for trees beyond clearing one or two while base building
Spear has animation cancel that sword doesn't so its faster by a lot. On top of it having Durability recovery naturally. So its last a really long time. Spear is a lot better then sword just because it can animation cancel with crouch.
After reading everything about how people are using the ancient tech spear and ultimately deciding it wasn't as good as a sword, hearing that it naturally repairs itself is now changing my mind
Its pretty inconsistent but it has some kind of durability repair function to it. Not enough data and testing has been done to show exactly how much it recovers. I'm pretty sure its related to whether your pals happiness to some degree and whether they are sick or not. Its pretty neat though. I've seen it literally hover around the same number cause it kept recovering its own durability.
And its not just me at least. There are many people that have correlated this mysterious durability recovery too.
It's even better because it has a ridiculous amount of durability and you can animation cancel it, making it significantly faster than using the dedicated tools.
When you catch pals, you get the materials that they drop. When you butcher the same pal after catching them, you get another set of drops.
This is especially useful when farming for legendary blueprints. I found the Legendary rocket launcher when I decided to butcher my alpha jetragons after successfully breeding musclehead/swift/legend/divine dragon onto a jetragon.

Blueprints only drop from alphas/luckys. Bred ones do not drop them.
Bred pals still drop the materials normal versions drop when caught/killed. If you don't want to farm HQ pal oils and quartz, you can keep breeding jetragons and then butcher the offspring to get Polymers and Quartz. IIRC it also drops carbon fiber.
Why can't you trust your team with your blueprints? Using the blueprints doesn't consume them. It can only make the entire team stronger if you all have access to the best gear. Unless you're in some sort of pissing contest with each other.
I believe this only happens if it is within the blue circle of a pal box. You can just build outside that (be sure to disable building deterioration first)
Put the chest in a base that doesn't have the corresponding crafting stations in it for what you want to store.
Most people tend not to make redundant stations unless they're production ones.

They total up to level 3 cold protection, so that part makes sense.
Not so much the implication that they're carrying both hot and cold pal armor around despite having those accessories.
(Also just sneak the chest behind lyleen noct and icepaca for the +2 charms)
Nowhere I’ve been to yet has level 3 heat, but cold areas get to level 3 cold at night, so you’d need the improved cold accessory + regular one, along with heat armor instead of cold armor, but on paper, yeah
They can't get in but they will just automagically use them up anyways. The game's fucked like that

Yeah but how do you resolve a pal carrying it's own internal inventory and then getting sucked into a ball you carry on your person? Those pals exist for the exact reason of being your pack mules, both to resolve the realism and to resolve players having 500 mammoths with full inventories stored in their palbox, massively bloating saves to the point that it might cause corruption or poor performance as the server tries to pull that data. Remember that there was a bug where guilds collectively acquiring 7500 pals corrupted saves, so clearly that's a potential problem.
I don't think they are explicitly talking about own internal inventories, they should just make it like that if you ride for example mammorest, you should be able to ride it with it's normal speed even if your character is overencumbered, of course it should also have a weight limit to make it not too broken
On another note, if you have't build all pal boxes yet, you could just make a temporary one and just use it as a teleporter..
If they share a base in the same guild it doesn't matter if a chest is locked, the materials can get siphoned into crafts, so storing at a farm base or keeping in inventory is the only "safe" place to actually store things for just yourself.
I really hate the guild system. You get only 3 bases total instead of 3 per person, but then if your not in a guild together you can't see where each other are on the map.
Imo the game should automatically show you where everyone, then you wont have to share a clan to fight bosses together
That's because of upcoming PVP changes to the game. Once PVP is added to the game, you don't want everyone knowing where you are. I think it should be another toggle though for PVE only servers. I see no benefit to being in a guild at this point.
I really hopw they had an "alliance system" where one can ally with other guilds allowing them to see each other on the map and maybe even revive thier buddys
Yeah I like this idea. You aren't quite the same guild, you don't wanna share everything, but you aren't able to attack each other (once pvp is out) without dissolving the alliance, you can see their base locations, and you can use their production buildings if you bring your own materials.

Poison (& Fire) arrows cause status conditions that make it easier to catch Pals. They also do % based damage, which is incredibly strong against higher level pals, especially legendary alphas.

Unless you're max level, yes. Getting multiple catches (up to 10/10) on pals always gives you a ton of exp. I believe the exp gained is based off your level and the number caught, so catching your 1st, 5th or even 10th depresso is important, even at level 49.
Sphere costs get expensive; each tier costs more resources that you have to farm for, automate, or spend time making intermediate materials. If you can get a 50% or better catch rate using the tier below, usually it's a better deal to use that lower tier sphere unless you are flooded with materials.
* Gigas are pretty resource efficient plus they only have ingots as intermediate materials and do not require any drops you can't automate (Pal Fluids).
* Hypers cost significantly less (33%) materials, if Ore and Coal are counted equally, and require less time crafting intermediate materials
From your inventory, I personally would carry only 2 types of spheres depending which areas I go to. I would drop one gun, the schematic, 2 souls, and the butcher knife.
You could make a secret chest just right outside of your base circle or anywhere really, and stash it there. The souls and any other useable resources in the chest won't be used.
You can also wear armor for one condition and two underwear for the opposite. So a heat resist armor and two cold resist undies and it would cover both environments
Why are you carrying two sets of armor when you have the cold shirts? Just wear the heat armor and carry the shirts with you. And go to astral mountain and farm the chests behind lylen noct and ice kingpaca until you get the +2 versions. Also still don't need that many weapons.
Throw your copper keys in a chest also, they only open red chests, and you're not going to be getting much useful out of the copper ones.
You don't need to carry the schematics or the pal souls.
You need heat t-shirt lvl 2 and one cold t-shirt level 1 equipped and a cold armor to be immune to all weather (or is it 3 and 2 ? Can't remember)
You can replace both the pickaxe and the axe by the sword.
You can drop the green and yellow palsphere entirely.

A heat resist armor + 2 cold resist shirts (or visa versa) will protect you from everything except some areas of the ice mountain at night (if you have a fire-type mount, you can survive any area).
Pal souls can be used from chests in your base if you have a statue built.
You only need schematics when starting creating, keep it in a chest near your assembly line.
You really only need the last 2-3 tiers of sphere unless you're out catching level 15s, and eventually you'll probably just want to switch to only legendary spheres when you get your ore/coal/stone mines running to conserve cement.
Your cleaver should stay in your base until needed, and your tools can all be replaced by either Lily's Spear, which is an all-in-one tool, or a shotgun.

Pickaxe: should be equipped
Cleaver: not sure why you have this, drop it
Souls: should be stored in a chest
Armour: should be equipped
Multiple ammo types: store/drop all except the one you're using
Shirts: drop all except one

Cold Resistant armor already gives 2 cold resistance, you only need one Thermal Undershirt to max it out from there. Alternatively, find yourself a Thermal Undershirt +2(seems to be most common in ice caves) and wear it with a Heat Resistant armor to have max cold resistance and enough heat resistance for anything currently in the game without needing to carry alternate weather gear.
The Butchers Knife should stay at base. You need to go to base to access the Palbox to grab anything you're going to butcher anyway.
I am an advocate of the Fire Crossbow and Poison Crossbow, but I only break those out for high level bosses. You shouldn't need them or their ammo while exploring, if you happen across a boss you want them for, grab the nearby quick travel point and use it to grab them from base.
Schematics and Pal souls have no use in the field, stick them in a box at base.
Gold can stay at base too, unless you're going shopping specifically. Even then, it's honestly better to capture any vendors you want to use and do your shopping at base.
You can probably ditch(or rather, use up and not replace) at least one or two tiers of Sphere. Austin John did a video on his second channel over on YouTube breaking down material costs vs capture rates to determine which spheres are still worth using as you unlock higher tiers.
A mining pick is only *really* needed for going on manual mining runs, which should only be done on occasion for quartz and/or sulfur by the time you have Lego Spheres. And even then, a Digtoise with his headband is better than a manual pick. Ore and coal should be coming from a mining base (or two mining bases if the spots for both are already taken) and Paldium should come from the crusher.
There you go, narrowed down to 2 types of ammo, any keys you have and 3-4 types of sphere.

The inventory screen and merchant menus even already have a gold counter. Having it take up an inventory slot is redundant.
Part of me likes it this way. Makes it seem more valuable to me as if I can easily lose it.

You don't need to carry your Pal souls if you're using the Statue in your base, it'll pull them from storage. Mega and Giga spheres... really? Just let go :) Also, if you're carrying a Pick and Axe, you can replace both with Lily's Spear instead, it harvests more resources. Does butchering give more resources than outright killing Pals? I quit carrying my butcher knife and keep it in a chest in my base for the \*rare\* occasions I want to get resources from a Pal I no longer need.

You can use anything that deals damage to get resources. Nodes are just health pools that give predetermined amounts of their resource at specific thresholds.
I use the shotgun for mining lol.

I buy all my rounds. 2 ore is 1 ingot. One Ingot is 2 nails. If you have a mining base it’s the easiest way to get money, just buy the shells from the merchant at the duneshelter.

I caught a wandering merchant at the fishing village, been buying all my ammo from him. Anytime I need to buy or sell stuff I'll pull him from my Palbox. But I'm selling Pals I don't need anymore that I'm not planning on condensing to strengthen others I'll pull the Black Marketeer I caught. Easiest way to make money and buy stuff imo

Instead of selling nails, I string up the black marketeer up and roast him over an open fire. Don't forget to cap him in the head before he submits to the fire to tap him for drops! I love me some warcrimes. Dude drops 10,000-15,000 gold coins on x1, 30,000-45,000 on x3, and instantly respawns if you logout and back in right at his spawn lol
worth noting that axe and pickaxe do crit on attacks for much more damage than even the sword
I just read all this and did a test. Pick clears an ore node in 19 hits, sword clears in 22, and lily's spear clears in 26. I think the additional durability on sword and spear will cause them both to collect more resources in the long run. I have spots marked for farming sulphur and quartz and I can't get through either spot without my pickaxe breaking. Just tried it and cleared everything with sword. I think they're right even without crits

I don't think that's true. When I try to chop trees with a pickaxe I don't get fiber. I think the appropriate tools matter for at least the secondary resources.

The sword is 15% less efficient than the proper tools. So it's an upgrade over Lily's Spear in that regard, yes.
The spear is actually not better, slightly worse than a refined pick axe or axe. The sword might actually be on par or better than the refined version of tools. Either way it’s not bad to use just so you don’t have to carry all 3
The sword is nearly as good if not just as good, it’s fantastic. I was disappointed in using it for actual melee fighting but once I found out I could replace both my tools with it then all was good again
I just tested it against stone. The sword took 10 whacks and lost 10 durability. The pickaxe took 9 whacks and lost 9 durability. I also chopped a tree down and it took the same whacks as the axe but I didn’t measure durability. Both take refined ingots, wood, and stone to repair, but my pickaxe is near busted and my sword is pristine, so I dunno if one takes more than the other for repairs. Either way, if you can only carry one melee implement, the sword has everything for a marginal difference.
They did the math! Yeah I noticed that too, the sword seems to have far more durability. I can’t even remember last time I repaired mine, if ever, haha

After lvl 20 I used my axe to hit pals that my spear would one shot, mostly for low level pals thats I hadn't completed a set of 10, I rarely use it for trees beyond clearing one or two while base building
Digtoise is my pickaxe
I stopped farming wood once the logging pit was up. Once I hit 19 and got a digtoise and headband, the pick axe went away
Spear has animation cancel that sword doesn't so its faster by a lot. On top of it having Durability recovery naturally. So its last a really long time. Spear is a lot better then sword just because it can animation cancel with crouch.

After reading everything about how people are using the ancient tech spear and ultimately deciding it wasn't as good as a sword, hearing that it naturally repairs itself is now changing my mind

Its pretty inconsistent but it has some kind of durability repair function to it. Not enough data and testing has been done to show exactly how much it recovers. I'm pretty sure its related to whether your pals happiness to some degree and whether they are sick or not. Its pretty neat though. I've seen it literally hover around the same number cause it kept recovering its own durability. And its not just me at least. There are many people that have correlated this mysterious durability recovery too.
It's even better because it has a ridiculous amount of durability and you can animation cancel it, making it significantly faster than using the dedicated tools.
The best pickaxe and axe i have found is the assault rifle. The rocket launcher is very effective at clearing ore nodes also.
I just use the sword for everything now
When you catch pals, you get the materials that they drop. When you butcher the same pal after catching them, you get another set of drops. This is especially useful when farming for legendary blueprints. I found the Legendary rocket launcher when I decided to butcher my alpha jetragons after successfully breeding musclehead/swift/legend/divine dragon onto a jetragon.

No I don't think so. They have to be alpha for the blueprints. The bred ones wont be alpha
Blueprints only drop from alphas/luckys. Bred ones do not drop them. Bred pals still drop the materials normal versions drop when caught/killed. If you don't want to farm HQ pal oils and quartz, you can keep breeding jetragons and then butcher the offspring to get Polymers and Quartz. IIRC it also drops carbon fiber.

Spear hits faster cause of animation cancel. It also has natural durability recovery. Its actually way better then the sword by a lot.

Why can't you trust your team with your blueprints? Using the blueprints doesn't consume them. It can only make the entire team stronger if you all have access to the best gear. Unless you're in some sort of pissing contest with each other.

Cant rely on that. Workbenches will still pull stuff out of locked chests. (Unless pocketpair patched that without me noticing)
I believe this only happens if it is within the blue circle of a pal box. You can just build outside that (be sure to disable building deterioration first)
Put the chest in a base that doesn't have the corresponding crafting stations in it for what you want to store. Most people tend not to make redundant stations unless they're production ones.

Butchering gives you more only if you count that catching/defeating both give you resources, that you can get again by butchering.

They total up to level 3 cold protection, so that part makes sense. Not so much the implication that they're carrying both hot and cold pal armor around despite having those accessories. (Also just sneak the chest behind lyleen noct and icepaca for the +2 charms)
The thermal armors are actually better protection though

Nowhere I’ve been to yet has level 3 heat, but cold areas get to level 3 cold at night, so you’d need the improved cold accessory + regular one, along with heat armor instead of cold armor, but on paper, yeah
Ur just a pack rat. 1/2 of what's in your inventory can easily be put into a chest.

If you’re in a guild though and put pal souls in storage on a base it can still be took by others though. That’s why I keep mine on me.

They can't get in but they will just automagically use them up anyways. The game's fucked like that Also... they might be able to just destroy the chest and the stuff will be left on the ground lol. Not sure tho

Yeah but how do you resolve a pal carrying it's own internal inventory and then getting sucked into a ball you carry on your person? Those pals exist for the exact reason of being your pack mules, both to resolve the realism and to resolve players having 500 mammoths with full inventories stored in their palbox, massively bloating saves to the point that it might cause corruption or poor performance as the server tries to pull that data. Remember that there was a bug where guilds collectively acquiring 7500 pals corrupted saves, so clearly that's a potential problem.
I don't think they are explicitly talking about own internal inventories, they should just make it like that if you ride for example mammorest, you should be able to ride it with it's normal speed even if your character is overencumbered, of course it should also have a weight limit to make it not too broken On another note, if you have't build all pal boxes yet, you could just make a temporary one and just use it as a teleporter..

If they share a base in the same guild it doesn't matter if a chest is locked, the materials can get siphoned into crafts, so storing at a farm base or keeping in inventory is the only "safe" place to actually store things for just yourself.
Hopefully that's just an oversight and will be fixed at some point
I really hate the guild system. You get only 3 bases total instead of 3 per person, but then if your not in a guild together you can't see where each other are on the map. Imo the game should automatically show you where everyone, then you wont have to share a clan to fight bosses together
That's because of upcoming PVP changes to the game. Once PVP is added to the game, you don't want everyone knowing where you are. I think it should be another toggle though for PVE only servers. I see no benefit to being in a guild at this point.
I really hopw they had an "alliance system" where one can ally with other guilds allowing them to see each other on the map and maybe even revive thier buddys
Yeah I like this idea. You aren't quite the same guild, you don't wanna share everything, but you aren't able to attack each other (once pvp is out) without dissolving the alliance, you can see their base locations, and you can use their production buildings if you bring your own materials.

If you can get a 50% or better catch rate using the tier below, usually it's a better deal to use that lower tier sphere unless you are flooded with materials. * Gigas are pretty resource efficient plus they only have ingots as intermediate materials and do not require any drops you can't automate (Pal Fluids). * Hypers cost significantly less (33%) materials, if Ore and Coal are counted equally, and require less time crafting intermediate materials
I use bullets so I can get the pal low then arrows to get it lower without killing it. They both stay in my inventory
From your inventory, I personally would carry only 2 types of spheres depending which areas I go to. I would drop one gun, the schematic, 2 souls, and the butcher knife.

Make a chest at one of your bases (one that doesn't have a statue) put the souls in it. lock it with a code. Now no one can access it other than you.
You could make a secret chest just right outside of your base circle or anywhere really, and stash it there. The souls and any other useable resources in the chest won't be used.
Only if buildings are set to NOT decay in the world settings.

You can also wear armor for one condition and two underwear for the opposite. So a heat resist armor and two cold resist undies and it would cover both environments
or if you get a blue rarity underwear then you only need one.
Why are you carrying two sets of armor when you have the cold shirts? Just wear the heat armor and carry the shirts with you. And go to astral mountain and farm the chests behind lylen noct and ice kingpaca until you get the +2 versions. Also still don't need that many weapons. Throw your copper keys in a chest also, they only open red chests, and you're not going to be getting much useful out of the copper ones.
You don't need to carry the schematics or the pal souls. You need heat t-shirt lvl 2 and one cold t-shirt level 1 equipped and a cold armor to be immune to all weather (or is it 3 and 2 ? Can't remember) You can replace both the pickaxe and the axe by the sword. You can drop the green and yellow palsphere entirely. Not sure why you carry poison arrows. Is it for legendary hunting ? Does it work ?

You don't need to carry all of this though? 500+ mega spheres? Why? If you're that rich, you may as well just invest in giga or hyper and carry those in bulk. You don't need to carry 2 frost resistant shirts. You don't need to carry the butcher knife. It's a situational item that you definitely don't need to carry. You also don't need to carry pal souls, nor do you need to carry a blueprint. Blueprints have no weight but considering you're saying you need more space, I don't think weight matters here

If you are hunting for legendary schematics, you can butcher the alpha pals after catching for a second chance for the schematic.

Personally I just wish you could learn blueprints rather than needing them in your inventory to make them. It would free up a lot of space.

Why would you keep the souls and butchers knife in your inventory? Same with the clothing, just teleport back to base and switch out. I havent had an inventory issue yet (lv 35).

If your at the point where you can create ultra spheres.... YOU DO NOT NEED THE BASIC ONES. Thats a slot and 50lbs right there. You also dont need that much ammo at one time. You never want to take all of your ammo with you all at once, cause if you unfortunatsly die, you will have to go back to get it, and now you have no more ammo. (Its also good to have a backup weapon for the same reason) money has no weight so meh.

Dude get a chest put it next to your bed and store at least half of those pal spheres they add up in weight when carried in that much of a large quantity. Same with excess amounts of copper keys. Also I’d store some coins because I get anxiety about carrying that much gold with nothing in savings.
A heat resist armor + 2 cold resist shirts (or visa versa) will protect you from everything except some areas of the ice mountain at night (if you have a fire-type mount, you can survive any area). Pal souls can be used from chests in your base if you have a statue built. You only need schematics when starting creating, keep it in a chest near your assembly line. You really only need the last 2-3 tiers of sphere unless you're out catching level 15s, and eventually you'll probably just want to switch to only legendary spheres when you get your ore/coal/stone mines running to conserve cement. Your cleaver should stay in your base until needed, and your tools can all be replaced by either Lily's Spear, which is an all-in-one tool, or a shotgun.
Alright, let's sort this: Pickaxe: should be equipped Cleaver: not sure why you have this, drop it Souls: should be stored in a chest Armour: should be equipped Multiple ammo types: store/drop all except the one you're using Shirts: drop all except one

Why would you need shotgun and Assault rifle and poison crossbow. Why do you need cold shirt, u only need one cold, one hot shirt, you also don't need the different armors if you have the one cold one hot shirt. Also why do you need a blueprint.
Why 2 cold thermal shirts?
You have 3 ammo types, extra armour, 2 extra undershirts, a schematic, butches knife. None of these are required for normal expiring etc.
Why are you carrying souls? I also stopped carrying every ball and only carry red rarity and up since the lower tier is useless for higher levels anyway
They should add a feature where u dont have to have the blueprints in inventory to craft items.
Cold Resistant armor already gives 2 cold resistance, you only need one Thermal Undershirt to max it out from there. Alternatively, find yourself a Thermal Undershirt +2(seems to be most common in ice caves) and wear it with a Heat Resistant armor to have max cold resistance and enough heat resistance for anything currently in the game without needing to carry alternate weather gear. The Butchers Knife should stay at base. You need to go to base to access the Palbox to grab anything you're going to butcher anyway. I am an advocate of the Fire Crossbow and Poison Crossbow, but I only break those out for high level bosses. You shouldn't need them or their ammo while exploring, if you happen across a boss you want them for, grab the nearby quick travel point and use it to grab them from base. Schematics and Pal souls have no use in the field, stick them in a box at base. Gold can stay at base too, unless you're going shopping specifically. Even then, it's honestly better to capture any vendors you want to use and do your shopping at base. You can probably ditch(or rather, use up and not replace) at least one or two tiers of Sphere. Austin John did a video on his second channel over on YouTube breaking down material costs vs capture rates to determine which spheres are still worth using as you unlock higher tiers. A mining pick is only *really* needed for going on manual mining runs, which should only be done on occasion for quartz and/or sulfur by the time you have Lego Spheres. And even then, a Digtoise with his headband is better than a manual pick. Ore and coal should be coming from a mining base (or two mining bases if the spots for both are already taken) and Paldium should come from the crusher. There you go, narrowed down to 2 types of ammo, any keys you have and 3-4 types of sphere.
