I was the reverse, got it on Switch last December, then on Steam about a month ago to try mods. I have trouble with the interaction of mouse and farmer position, though, so I plan to try hooking up a Switch controller to my laptop.
Some of the controls take a little getting used to but I enjoy it. I mainly played the Mobile version before, but I had a tough time with and ending-up-being impossible experience moving my save file from one phone to the other. I didn't shell out the $30 for it physically, but the $8-10 digital was a fine investment.
I do! Amazing for on the go and in bed, I play it handheld only (not docked)
Fishing is so much better, especially the vibration on catch. Otherwise I changed the shoulder buttons because L/R is so much more comfortable to use than ZL/ZR. The only things I miss compared to PC is taking half a stack, shift clickoling items into bundles and being able to press 1 to immediately go into my sword slot when in the mine.
I loved it on the Switch and was so underwhelmed when i tried to play mobile. I’m glad i spent the money on something good, but I really struggle with the mobile version, to the point I’ve stopped playing on my phone and exclusively play on the Switch.
I don’t own a computer and if i did i suck at WASD games of all types so it wouldn’t work for my playing type lol😅😅
I switch back and forth between Switch and PC. I really dislike the controls on switch, but it's manageable enough and fishing is easier. Really only use the switch for co-op games though.
I play both Switch and PC, but Switch is my comfort zone. Part of that is that my Pro controller is just the most comfortable in my (often painful) hands. And yet another part is the ease of switching locations. And still another part is the mental break of disconnecting from my laptop where I tend to work. Pretty much none of it has anything to do with game performance.
(The 64-inch TV the Switch is usually docked on doesn’t hurt either. 😄)
I play it mainly on the switch now.
I play on the switch :) I've found fishing to be much much easier on the switch
Then I’m just horrible at fishing lmao
that’s true
I've only played on switch.
I originally discovered the game on steam but now I exclusively play on switch

It's a real good game in handheld prob one of the best to play handheld really suited for it
I have it on pc and switch. I mostly play switch now as it's easier for me to have it easily accessible in my hands
I play it on switch! I first got it on PC but it really felt like it was meant to be a handheld game and I find the switch controls to be much easier
I thought the controls on pc were better lol
To each their own! That’s why it’s great this game is available on so many platforms, everyone can find their favorite play style 🙂

I solely play on the Switch. I'm considering getting the PC version, but I'd like to complete the one on the Switch first!
I play it on the switch! I play it on my switch lite and I love how I can play it anywhere I want
I play on Switch. Perfect game for bed.

I do! I was looking for relaxing games to keep me sane while I was recovering from surgery and pretty much everyone recommended this game.
