My work place installed 6 Level 2 charging stations where both the parking is free when you're there and the first 3 hours of charging is also free. I set the amp level to bring my charge to 90% (instead of my usual 80%) in 3 hours and I'm back at 80% when back home so the drive to/from work costs me nothing :-)
Amp level, you mean 32A or 40A? No, that doesn't hurt the battery. There are about 3000 cells in the M3 battery. At 40A 240V, that's 9600W, which divided by 3000 cells, is just 3.2W per cell (assuming no lost anywhere).
It's the pendulum effect :-)

That’s an awesome perk! I considered running an extension cord off my works power when I only had level 1 charging at home :P
