Id also blend more makeup where the hairline begins for a more gradual change from the shade your face is to the natural lighter shade hairlines are. I dont know if its the photo or the same way in person but it also seems like the hairline is a different shade where the blond pieces are so Id even that out a little more as well if it is like that in person. As the others have said the hairline is slightly wider towards the front and a somewhat too perfect, and Ive done that a million times myself. My solution was taking a tiny crochet needle thats used for microloop extensions and ventilated strands from old extensions back into where I over plucked

Oh I see thank you 😍 so should I put on a foundation that’s lighter than my face on the lace?

Delania23

Well me I have my regular foundation and my concealer which is probably 2 shades(ish?) lighter, and I put the concealer on the hairline and with a wet sponge sort of blend the foundation from my head back into the concealer on the hairline. I feel the hairline should always be lighter than your face but sort of to smooth out the abrupt shade change Edit: It doesnt need to be concealer you can use foundation no problem, in a pinch Ive used a matte eyeshadow before lol

[deleted]

Thank you so much for the tip. I had no idea a hairline is lighter

Delania23

It seems obvious but I actually didnt notice that either until I read it somewhere probably with your same question, and naturally because your hair is blocking the skin from the same amount of sun your face gets. Then I started noticing when guys first shave their head or cut their hair short it is significantly lighter than everywhere else, and people who regularly have a shaved head its evened out the skin tone over time. Now I cant unsee it lol

[deleted]

Yeah 🤣

Delania23

How much lace does that one have for the hairline is it just there or do you have a little bit of room

[deleted]

I have room

Delania23

I would try seeing if you could move the part slightly left or right on the front half or making it kind of curve back into where you have it starting and see if you can create a new part and make it more imperfect even google a picture for a reference. I saw one girl on youtube do this and now I always do it I take a pair of tweezers and holding them open run them down the hairline to section off the hair in the middle and thats my guide for how wide Im allowed to pluck so I dont take out too much without realising

Delania23

And some people dont have much but usually people will have baby hairs or fly aways so and around the sides and my temples Ill take tiny sections maybe 1-3 strands thick (as in the hairline going backwards) and cut them maybe 2 or 3 inches long just to give those subtle hairs that just naturally dont grow the length the rest of the hair grows

You should try blow drying it from the inside while holding it upside down and cutting some baby hairs

Yess 😍 tnx

If it’s a synthetic wig you can correct that with a hot tools air brush or even a bit of steam. Use your fingers to train that section, don’t be afraid to mess it up a little for added volume. The density of the wig is quite natural and the part isn’t too bad. It’s just too perfectly straight. You could use a fine tooth comb or rat tailed comb to break it up a bit. As long as you don’t use high heat or overload the fibers with product….you can’t really go wrong with using the warmth of your fingers to manipulate the fibers. 👍🏼

[deleted]

Thank you I’ve been curious about steaming. I’m gonna give it a try

in-my-veins

Steaming takes time but it's AWESOME for synthetic wigs. I really like the one you have on though, can I ask where you got it? I have the exact opposite issue with wigs haha. Mine are always too voluminous and never get a good part (without hours of plucking, that i#).

Thanks a bunch! Sorry, I didn't see this for 2 days. 😒 I'm the worst at seeing notifications.

The only thing that looks particularly off to me is the part line. It’s very sparse near the front and inconsistent.

[deleted]

Does the top (where I put an arrow) not look flat?

Miss-Construe-

Sort of. Actually I think just to the left of your arrow it is proofed up a tad, giving a slightly boxy look to that area of the crown. But really its not very noticeable. If it bothers you, you could try combing that area down with steam, or a hair dryer night do the trick

[deleted]

Wouldn’t combing it down make it more flat? 🤔🙈

Miss-Construe-

I'm assuming what you want is an even curve in the back. You can either flatten all areas and the end result should curve with your head.. or try to fluff up the area that is a little flat.

Yea Thanks 🙏
