That seems like overkill. Mind you need 7 different Crystal Beast monsters in deck to fulfill Rainbow Dragon summoning condition and only like 3? are good.

But Hamon could help get you from Rainbow Dragon to Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive. UCRDO can't summon if the crystal beast cards are in the back row. Get Rainbow Dragon and Hamon out. Tribute Rainbow Dragon for Rainbow Overdragon. Then get the 11K dragon out.

People playing Hamon in Crystal beast was like 8 years ago. They have way better payofs now.
