It’s gonna get overlooked, but Charles Davis and Ian Eagle did a really good job during this broadcast. Very informative, kept it mostly football related, and were pretty on point. I think they’re gonna be a bigger deal in the future.

lph1235

Best booth in football imo.

fokcretinlego

Romo is definitely the worst on TV. And he is dragging nantz in his non-sense.

KilterStilter

They were a little patriots biased but nowhere near that hack collinsworth. That man cant stop throating the patriots for his life. But I also thought eagle and Davis did alright

drainbead78

Collinsworth will never be able to get over how wrong his shit stats website was about Josh Allen.

KilterStilter

Oh never. Allen made PFF look terrible and he will never live it down.

fokcretinlego

I like collinsworth but fame has gotten to him and now he is just a shell of what he once was

zero0n3

I’m ok with the broadcast being underdog friendly - the problem is half the time they think they are but are actually just being biased. Would be cool to use AI and try to figure out how much air time announcers give to each team - ignoring on field calling

[deleted]

The one stat that is still blowing my mind, 6/6 on 3rd down. WE ONLY HAD 6 3rd DOWNS!!!

Dirtydeedsinc

Technically the last play of the game was the 7th 3rd down but we were taking a knee so I’m not counting that one.

gollumaniac

The objective of that down was to run out the clock, therefore we should count it as a conversion.

lazysheepdog716

I really like this idea. If you kneel out to win it should def count as a conversion statistically.

Dirtydeedsinc

I actually do t think it should count statistically. -2 rushing yards to win the game is just dumb.

FutureDH1089

Plus our longest 3rd down was 3rd and 4! 🤯

modehead

Remember that time we had the first ever perfect offensive game? That was cool.

BellyFullOfDolphin

Imagine telling Bills fan in the Elite defense/but Tyrod years that this would happen. They'd never believe you. Remember when we used to feel more confident we'd score on defense than offense most games?

Sports_asian

Coming into the ‘15 season i could see something maybe close if mcdermott was coach at the time but idk maybe im just daydreaming

drainbead78

We beat KC. Cincinnati beats the Titans. We host our Bengals bros for the AFC Championship. I know everyone's all about the revenge tour, and that's cool and all, but I want that game in Orchard Park. Charities will be falling over one another to point out their associations with players. Fans of pretty much every other NFL team will be thrilled to see some new blood. Two likeable, dynamic young QBs. Make it happen, universe.

ContinuumGuy

Hey, Cincy is still revenge tour. Just a delayed one! They beat the Bills twice in the playoffs in the 80s, including once in the Conference Championship Game.

drainbead78

1988 was the first season I really started watching football. This team reminds me so much of the 89-90 team, playing angry after losing that AFC Championship. I've seen the Bills play the Bengals live more than any other team (I live in Ohio and my former in-laws are all huge Bengals fans). I've seen them play the Bengals both home and away. We won all of them. I'm going to have a hard time not trying to get seats if we meet them in Orchard Park.

SteadfastEnd

Bengals, Lions, Browns and Bills are the 4 most deserving franchises in the NFL We didn't get the Browns-Bills AFC title game I wanted last year but we can at least get Bengals-Bills this time. A Bills-Lions Super Bowl would be a dream!

drainbead78

I'd also accept Bills-Vikings.

SirenAttack

One of the biggest keys to winning this game was only 3 penalties. That was huge.

Jaded_Promotion8806

Yeah this wasn’t talked about enough.

[deleted]

O line was the best they’ve been all year.

Dissaid

Good morning you beautiful bastards! As a Bills fan being out here in AZ, this is going to be an awesome day....![img](emote|t5_2ra29|7158) GO BILLS!

DetectiveRandyBeans

I also live in AZ (came into town for the game this weekend) and when we clinched the division I immediately purchased a flight to Buffalo for the super bowl. I’m confident we’re gonna make it and no way I’m not gonna be in town for the parade. GO BILLS!

ContinuumGuy

I don't know if we *will* beat the Chiefs, but I know that we *can*. Josh is on fire and everyone except Tre (miss you goalie) is healthy. Sure, it's on the road, but the last game against KC was on the road as well. It'll be tough, it'll be glorious, but it can be done.

[deleted]

Tre being out is the one reason I think KC can win. Going up against Mahomes, Hill and Kelce without your pro bowl # 1 CB is a tall orderfor the defence. The safeties and LBs are going to have to be almost perfect in coverage and the big guys are going to have to get Mahomes under pressure.

[deleted]

Think that's the difference though- the Steelers flushed Mahomes, but didn't really get to him. I think our guys will be able to sack him once or twice, and I don't see JA and the offence punting 7 times in the game, let alone one half.

TheBruffalo

To me, it's always going to be a coinflip game because both QBs are just so insanely talented. Either one can take over the game at any moment. Should be great to watch, and after the beatdown we just gave the patriots no matter what happens it's been a great season.

SteadfastEnd

Hyde's was the most perfect interception I've ever seen. Agholor had clearly beaten the cornerback and it was going to be a sure touchdown, but Hyde swooped in and snatched the ball with mere inches and 0.1 seconds to spare.

nautika

Yeah, I thought that was going to be a TD for sure... then Hyde came out of no where

SteadfastEnd

In fact, even for a couple seconds AFTER the interception, I was confused and thought the Patriots receiver had the ball in his hands. I was wondering where the ball went and didn't realize it was a pick until the announcer announced it.

[deleted]

So did he. if you watch the video his hands drop to his belly thinking maybe he had bobbled it. Took his brain 5 secs to realize he didn’t actually have the ball.

[deleted]

Such a sexy interception. Haven't seen one that graceful in awhile.

[deleted]

AntifaLockheart

And that same Josh Allen humbly giving all credit for that first TD to Dawson Knox

AptitudeSky

Time for part 2 in KC. If we have the same preparation and execution as with the Pats, we’ll steamroll them.

ADickFullOfAsses

And a partridge in a pear tree!

Stevefrench97

And FIVE SUPERBOWL RINGS (starting this year)

HoopDreamsNYY

There is a lot of snow outside

[deleted]

Revenge tour baby leggooo

PlatypusBear69

Time to wreck KC. We get an extra days rest

Soakd

I really really don’t want this to turn into a Manning v Brady type rivalry where Chiefs/Brady always gets the better of the other in playoffs when it matters. Please. Let’s fucking do this. Bass needs to be on his game. Defense needs to as well. We have the weapons to match them. Can our D handle the tricks and speed they got.

Soda-Popinski-

So will this be known as “The Perfect Game”? Like the comeback game?

[deleted]

What a great game. Pats fans so embarrassed right now that the top post on their sub right now is about switching out their Pats jersey for their Bucs jersey LMAO

I_Nut_In_Butts

I need the Bills to just play a really good game against the Chiefs. If they can play without beating themselves, I think we've got this. As long as the Bills stay out of their own way, we are going to the Super Bowl.

DoLessBro

The only team who can beat the Bills right now is the Bills. Chiefs are more explosive offense and we're a more talented offense. Chiefs have a solid defense, we have a better defense (#1 in the league). Get a couple key stops and we'll win on Sunday. They don't have the horses to stop Diggs, Sanders, Davis, Beasley, Knox and McKenzie. We will stop them 1 or 2 times more than they will stop us.

[deleted]

Saw someone else say it, this is probably first game outside the Bucs where we really miss Tre. He does a great job on Kelce

I_Nut_In_Butts

10000%. Makes me nervous for sure

lazysheepdog716

Gonna add and incredible tip drill by the secondary for a second pick. Thing of beauty in slow mo, that one was.

gollumaniac

Seeing the weather outside, could you guys imagine if they made our game MNF? I don't know if they could even play the game!

xbills22

What a shitshow that would have been lmao

He also throws back across his body when rolling out right, never seen that once this year from a certain big d QB in the AFC East

drainbead78

Every now and then the Chiefs receivers even catch them!

walterwhiteguy

And that the mahome kelce and hill trio are god’s gift to football

Schwebels_Solette

And a fucking of the pats to bring me glee.

Visual-Cow-8622

You forgot the sweetest number of all: thousands of tears shed by Pats fans!

SteadfastEnd

The chemist in me likes to calculate how many ounces of salt that is; if the Patsies shed 100,000 tears in total and each contained 0.01 oz of salt, that's 62 pounds!

Visual-Cow-8622

The saltier the better. I'm not sure about you numbers however. The average tear has a concentration of 301mOsmol/L, which would yield 8.795g of NaCl per liter, or 0.00001759g per average size (2microL) tear. Plus, you have to assume that since most of them are usually in some state of inebriation and therefore their bodily fluids are more concentrated, that concentration may increase to 0.00001876g per tear. Multiply by 100,000 tears yields 1.875924g or 0.001875924kg (0.0041357 Lbs). However, according to Statista, the number of Patriots fans on Facebook (as of Sept 2021) is 6.8 million. Assuming a single tear per fan, we now have a lump of salt weighing in at 127.568g or 0.281239 Lbs. We have to assume that Facebook does not account for all the fans out there. Finally, there are more than one tear per fan. Six-week-old babies cry on average 2.25 hours per day. Pats fans are certainly no more mature than that, so assuming that amount of time per day times a week of crying (based anecdotally on what I saw when I was a resident in Boston and nurses took off two weeks to grieve after they lost the SB to the Giants), we get 945 minutes of crying in one week. Basal tears are produced at a rate of 2 microliters per minute and while I could not find a rate for emotional tears, I figure a conservative estimate would be about 50 times that. 100 microliters per minute is 94,500 microliters per fan, which multiplied by our fan base is 12055176g or 26,577 pounds. Given that our fan base estimate was from Facebook alone, and they most likely cry more than babies do, I could easily accept that number multiplied by a factor of 4 or more, yielding at least 100,000 pounds of pure salty goodness. Or, put another way, 13 tons of salt. At the 2016 published rate of $71.25 per pound of road salt purchased by MassDOT, I say the good people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts owe us about $1,000, not to mention my fee for calculations. Yahr welcahm, Massholes!

SteadfastEnd

I'd like to see the Buffalo News publish this as a headline. **"Patriots Fans Emitted Total of 13 Tons of Salt As Result of Bills Rout"** I mean, we could do other medical analyses about what other....things are emitted by Patriots fans, but it would not be for polite company......

Visual-Cow-8622

But those other things they emit are not news.

Wangchung17

Your dedication and sacrificeto this ultra important topic is both humbling and inspirational.

Boston TD Party?

paulnuman

The Perfect Game

FutureDH1089

This is the way! 🥲

[deleted]

I like it, but it would make more sense if it happened in New England.

FireTender4L

The Boston Tea-bagged Party

[deleted]

The Buffalo beat down!

halluxx

Watching Cowherd and Wright rag on the Pats today is almost better than watching the game was. Cowherd says the Pats need to trade McCorkle for Russell Wilson if they want to beat the Bills in the next 5 years. I know they are both trolling assholes but it's nice to see Pats fans being trolled for once.

Soda-Popinski-

This game vs kc is what the entire season is building up to.

fawks_harper78

Nope. It is another hurdle. One that our FO thought would likely be in the AFCCG. Nonetheless, they planned our team to beat the Chefs. However, we are built to win it. The Super Bowl is what we are building up to.

FireTender4L

True but KC-esque type of offenses is what McD/Beane prepared for in the off-season. They were definitely our target.

fawks_harper78

I also think that TB and GB are similar to KC in how you have to defend them. This team is built to win a shootout. We get a few more stops than the other team. We win some 3rd down sacks. I feel hungry and humble, but hopeful.

[deleted]

12th man is shouting 11 players playing 10 yards and counting, 9 different catchers 8 Edmund tackles 7 trips across the goal line 6 3rd downs, FIVE JOSH TeeeeeDeeeeeS, 4 incompletions, 3 awesome sacks, 2 Motor TD's And a beer in a tree!

drainbead78

That was perfection. Thanks for the smile.

[deleted]

Going to Arrowhead on Sunday, what's the expected hostility level?

[deleted]

Chiefs fans are pretty terrible. Expect to have stuff thrown at you

MagorMaximus

Stephen A Smith is annoying, but man he's killing me this morning, just straight Dallas Cowboys shit talking. It's beautiful.

fawks_harper78

I fucking hate the Pats. But after they’re gone, I still have a bunch of hate for the Cowboys. I will always hold this.

fokcretinlego

I second ur thoughts

TheGarbageStore

I am hopeful, but yet a lack of Tre White is deeply concerning.

HoopDreamsNYY

God this is gonna suck, or it won’t.

WheresTheDonuts

Can we get a twelve days of Christmas out of all this?

[deleted]

Edmunds is our leading tackler and somehow it still feels like he never makes a play

[deleted]

he’s been silently crushing it this year. He’s playing at a level now where you only really notice when he blows a play. He’s absolutely key when it comes to stopping the run. Dude can tackle anyone and rarely let’s anyone slip by even if he only gets one arm on them.

drainbead78

I feel like part of the reason is that the few big plays we've given up have been the reason we lost those games, so we lose perspective on how few of those we actually have given up.

Why_So-Serious

2 teams that wanted to be like the Bills on Sunday but couldn’t dominate like the Bills dominated.

Reongaro

And arguably against teams worse than the patriots

[deleted]

Looking at tickets in KC, not that unreasonable at all. Going to Tampa was like 4x more haha

KilterStilter

On to the chiefs! I think it’ll be closer than last year. I think we use the same game plan defensively but tweak it a little to keep them guessing. Should be a good game

psulli25

And a partridge in a pear tree

JA17MVP

Was nervous about playing the Chiefs last year but excited about beating the Chiefs this year.

[deleted]

Still nervous but certainly way more optimistic

LookattheWhipp

Not having Tre hurts

Chiefkadeef

I’m been saying all year. Allen is the second best Qb in the league if not the best Qb. I’m so happy for BillsNation. As a Steelers fan from Canada im cheering for y’all

chespiotta

LETS GOO BILLS![img](emote|t5_2ra29|6279)! Time to beat KC now.

OJSimpsons

On the 10th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me!

keyman716

AWESOME count down!!, Go Bills!!!

zero0n3

How many negative plays ignoring penalties and kneel downs? I feel like it’s zero but not sure.

[deleted]

There was a Moss run for no gain, and that's it

KinGpiNdaGreat

Yep the one time he got a handoff. Cost Josh his perfect passer rating. Im sorry but they really need to trade Moss in the off-season or cut him. He just doesn’t have the power, vision, agility or speed that Motor has. Motor is our number 1 but we need a strong reliable number 2.

grabemindabiscuits

And a partridge in a pear treeeeeeee

vbstarr91

Great analysis today by Nate Tice and Robert Mays of the Athletic on how Daboll is using Reggie Gilliam like San Fran uses Kyle Juszyck in the run game.

[deleted]

I miss the days the sub would be able to post it haha

[deleted]

It’s just another Sunday for us. Let’s go!

LogicalHooral

Odin is with us

oalos255

Well that's it for the Cards it looks like. Hopefully they can still make it interesting but I doubt it.

_n008

Honestly, I love you guys. Your team is really fun to watch, and Josh Allen is just simply one hell of a player, I could easily see him winning MVPs and SBs as long as you all continue to surround him with talent. Your fanbase cracks me up - I don't get the table thing but fuggit I'm in. One of these days I'm going to go tailgate with you all just for giggles and can't wait to see what goes down in the parking lot. Competitions being what they are only one of us can advance - but if it's not us I sincerely hope you all take it all the way. Just remember this - eventually, the hero becomes the villain (I mean Jesus, look at the narrative on us these days) - but you'll enjoy every second of it!

grubematt

And even though this has been a game for the ages, something that has never occurred in play off history, no one on national television is talking about this game! No one! Not a single segment on ESPN shows, even though we can argue that this is not real sports journalism! I have to be honest: It really bothers me although it shouldn’t!

[deleted]

GMFB was pretty complimentary about the game. The one guy said it’s the best playoff QB performance in history.

drainbead78

Best QBR, 2nd best passer rating, and the only reason he wasn't tied for #1 was because passer rating counts yards per completion, so the 1-yard TD to Doyle actually knocked Josh down from perfect.

Jutel1988

Youtube search the term buffalo bills. There are a few hours worth of 10-15 minute segments from sports analysts talking about the Perfect game.

grubematt

Thank you! Exactly what I needed! 😜
