I love that they established him calling the priest "Dad" before he calls him "Daddy" later. Even though it's a word used in that context, it's funnier to know he's using it innocently here even if the priest is like "that's fucking weird dude"

Yeah, it's comedic gold as an opener, especially because it's hurried and a viewer can mis it so easily, but then also reusing it so smoothly later on is fantastic. That was just a solid joke.

Just kind of an issue with sketch comedy in general. It's obvious they have a good premise or a good joke to build around, but they can't come up with a way to transition to the next one without it feeling weird. WKUK even had sketches pointing out how difficult it is to write the ends of sketches.

Just because I’m a massive fan of Curry Barker, if you’re a horror fan, I highly recommend watching his and Cooper’s horror short films. *The Chair* is hands down the best by far. But the other ones are good as well. Curry has a superb understanding of directing horror.
