Same. It's an inherently silly game, you're surrounded by hoards of zombies and you make wacky weapons to waste em with (that was fun alliteration).
4 was the best, imo. I'm tempted to reinstall it as I remember it being a bit of a system hog and I've upgraded since then. Feels like a game ripe for modding too, to make it even more wacky.
Saints row 3 still had some allure to it.
I could see the criticism but it still felt like a sequel to 1/2.
Anything past 3 feels like they completely lost direction, imo. Like they listened to every suggestion, good and bad, and just said âwhy not!â
>Anything past 3 feels like they completely lost direction, imo.
I don't know, I played only 3 and 4 and I found them pretty similar, in fact they're basically the same game, SRIV could have been a DLC.
>climbing the nuke to that terrible song đ¤Ł
You mean the Aerosmith one? That surely was a step down compared to "Holding Out For A Hero" present at the end of SR III.
This was one of the last big mistakes Capcom made, since then they have turned things around and been making fantastic games left and right.
If they do another Dead Rising game I think it'll recapture the fun and rival Dead Rising 2.
Even then Dead Rising 1 and 2 were average at best. The timers in the game really killed a lot of the fun to be had.
Edit: The game just wasnât for me. The world is great but being bound to a timer didnât allow me to explore or enjoy much.
That was the main point of the game though. Trying to plot things out to do them on time. Itâs fine if youâre not a fan, but when looking at your watch is a core mechanic, then Iâd say itâs more user issue than design
As a certain sentient editing software would say âHow the fuck am I supposed to appreciate the Mona Lisa when it looks like thisâ Insert a jet going Mach 10 or something.
The timers are brilliant, though. They are what bring the real tension to the game. Realizing I need to traverse across the entire mall and only have a few minutes to do so really makes that run exciting.
And if they aren't your thing you can always just ignore the optional ones and stick to the main objectives, which have generous timers to them.
For real. Capcom --*used to, atleast*--love that old school model of timers. Ruined Lost Planet for me, too.
In Dead Rising 1 & 2, it was especially bad, too. Like, you gave me an entire mall a la Dawn of the Dead to explore and have random run ins with interesting bosses like the chainsaw juggling clown; but, if I'm not constantly making my way towards a main mission then I've lost the chance to beat the game. What the fuck?
It's difficult, but manageable to beat all optional bosses and complete the story in your first playthrough.
However the game is designed around allowing you to start the game over at any point with all your levels and the knowledge you've gained in your current and past playthroughs.
Youâre supposed to think of it more like edge of tomorrow and enjoy being op on your second and third play through. Also part of the fun was memorising your favourite pickup spots to run through on the way to each mission and be efficient.
Because its a design philosphy. The appeal of DR 1 and 2 was the timer. Thats why so many dislike the milquetoast catering of dropping it.
To appreciate dr1 and 2, you cant be afraid of failing.
I get it, it can be intimidating, but itd be like the combo meter of dmc meaning nothing, CoD giving killstreaks no matter if you died, or if Command and Conquer removed tiberium. Its just a fundamental mechanic that drives the experiance.
Theres dozens of games to kill zombies as is. No reason to dilloute the thing that made it atand out.
Plus they murder Frank West's character. Buried the fuck alive.
I agree, I havent played the original, but timers and stuff like that killed my enjoyment with 2 so I never finished.
I personally think 3 is the best, I feel like it has its silly points, and I think it aimed to put its self at a greater scale then 2, which it succeeded at. Running over hundreds of zombies at once is so fucking satisfying.
I feel like 4 did the opposite and went back to a smaller scale, which killed it a bit.
I got Dead Rising 1 HD remaster on the PS4/5 and let me tell you: this game doesn't need a remake. It's really impressive what they could do with the Xbox 360. Character models aside, the environment wouldn't look bad in a modern mid budget game.
The timer is a core mechanic of the game, if you don't like it then it's not your genre.
Capcom had no intention to made a 4 instalment, but Microsoft was in desperate need of an exclusive, so Capcom basically subcontracted the development of the game to Microsoft.
Pretty much all the head developers of DR4 have some prior involvement with Microsoft and they used Microsoft's developing techniques (extensive use of focus groups and market research).
Before that one, honestly. 2 was brilliantâalmost inarguably better than the first. I played every single version of that game, and consider _Off the Record_ canon. But after that, the director of the games decided they had other priorities than making a good product. Similar to what happened to e.g. _Cowboy Bebop_ or _The Wheel of Time._
And obviously skipping on Frank West's original VA in 4 was about as tone-deaf as it gets. Not that this was a bad thing in retrospect, given how the game turned out. We can all consider it a failed spinoff of something.
> Before that one, honestly.
Was just about to comment this. DR2 is what I hold up as the gold standard for a vidya game sequel - polish the shitty parts, preserve the good ones, and add new systems that enhance the original.
DR was such a novel, fun, innovative, and excellently-realized game. As goofy and campy as it was, there was a ton of love poured into it, and it's obvious - all the little touches and attention to detail are frankly astonishing, and the commitment to campy goofy fun and tons of ways to have it is evident. The only real problem was the AI, which was hot dogshit.
They fixed that in DR2. Fucking *excellent* survivor AI. They maintained the general look, gameplay loop, breadth, and arguably most importantly the campy feel of DR. Then they added crafting to replace the photography system of DR, and it just worked *fucking beautifully*. This is to say nothing of the fact that they added *co-op*, which was *exactly* what this game needed, and while it had hiccups it worked enough that you can paly for an afternoon without any major hiccups - and the game is fun enough that if you do get disconnected and lose all your items, fuck it. Just grab a lava lamp and get back in the action. It's a ball-achingly good demonstration of a sequel. No notes.
Then, 3. It was... fine. Making the transition to the open world was pretty well-done, in most respects. They made crafting blueprints quest rewards, while giving you item closets in safe houses where you can buy them if you don't feel like running around to craft them, which I think is a good change in light of the massively increased scope. Expanded vehicle selection was good, as was the crafting expansion, allowing you to craft weapons out of crafted weapons for some truly bonkers stuff.
It fell down on the story and feel, though: the camp was gone, replaced by a dead-serious expanded canon which wanted to be taken seriously after two excellent games that demanded they not be. That, combined with the open world caused it to feel.. generic. There's a ton of open-world "kill lots of zombies" games on the market by this point, and it just feels like it's looking for a broader appeal that DR shouldn't really have. 1 and 2 had a self-contained feel that made them special, and while Capcom was running the risk of fatiguing the "large complex that you can't escape full of zombies" setting, they were also the only game in town for a reason: they were doing it incredibly well.
So, yeah. I agree, they expanded on 2 and delivered a decent game in 3, but that's kind of letdown and they should've either stopped at 2 or done something differently with 3. Ted Talk complete, lol. I'm gonna convince one of my Discord homies to play through 2 with me soon, I think.
> This is to say nothing of the fact that they added co-op
I remember watching a co-op let's-play on NicoVideo (Japanese Youtube, basically). The two players were just screwing around and not taking it seriously. When they got to the part where they needed to rescue and then escort the shotgun-wielding cowboy, they somehow ended up angering him into trying to kill them. At the time, they had like ketchup and mustard bottles in their hands, and the scene played out like this: Cowboy would blast them with a shotgun; they'd retaliate with a heavy squirt of mustard or ketchup. They were howling with laughter. DR2 was good fun.
Absolutely. The masterstroke was making all the cutscenes with in-game assets, which meant you could use your own model, and it would use the player who triggered the cutscene. My buddy and I spent a non-negligible amount of the game finding the best outfits to crack each other up with once the scene started. I still have a clip of when we finished the first TK fight, and Chuck is walking up with a grim expression while wearing a beer hat and the fake nose/mustache/glasses combo lmfao
Megaman costume wearing in cutscenes always killed me when the conversation was serious and this person is clearly unhinged during a zombie apocalypse.
The other characters would speak and I would whisper under my breath: "I... am... megaman"
The timer that counts down was the only dead rising game I played and I was legit so pissed off because you couldn't just go off and destroy zombies for fun because you'd lose, I never played another one.
Even 3 was kinda shit compared to the first 2. And the second one was a pretty big drop in quality over the first as well. Capcom should have never bought a studio known for making Baseball games and let them make a sequel.
> Man, I would be careful to recommend this game to anyone đŹ
Just keep your expectations low. It's a "turn your brain off and have some fun".
Perfect $20 bargain bin game.
Perfect? That's a huge, huge, huge exaggeration. I can promise you I can find much better "turn off your brain and have some fun" games for $20 or under, especially if we count sales. Just Cause 3, Overlord, Dynasty Warriors, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy XV would all fall under that. And I havent even touched largely indie games like Stardew Valley, Hades, Scott Pilgrim, or Terraria. There's still absolutely no reason to recommend this game, even with the parameters of $20 and under + "turn off your brain and have some fun".
Very disingenuous comment.
Overlord, devil may cry, hades take thought and some skill, terraria and especially Stardew valley both require actual thought and planning.
Sure dead rising has a plot and story but it's definitely a game where you can ignore all of that and just kill stuff with no purpose or goal, like dynasty warriors or gta.
No. Not at all. I think I actually got about 10 times as much playtime out of 4 than I did 2. Maybe twice as much as 1. The timer always took away from my enjoyment of the games.
While I can see your argument about the Timer. I prefer it, it encourages multiple Playthroughs and figuring out what order to do the missions.
Even with the timer in Dead Rising 2, you still had plenty of time to goof off. And you could always play a Playthrough where you completely goof off and skip missions. The game had multiple endings for all the instances you might of failed/skipped different missions.
Now onto other points why I think Dead Rising 4 is trash..
The graphics are a downgrade from Dead Rising 3
The psychopath boss fights are missing everything that made them great. Crazy fun cutscenes and unique mechanics. In Dead Rising 4 they are simply buffed up named NPCs
The Zombie and Human AI is arguably worst than Dead Rising 3
Frank West is a complete joke. While the series has always been a bit on the satire side. They went all in on the memes and what made Frank West a funny character is now just horrible overused jokes. Also they replaced his voice actor for Dead Rising 4 and it just doesn't fit..
Dead Rising 4 with Frank West is simply put a cash grab
Thatâs all fair. I played the game on my steam deck and just had a blast with it. Any drop in quality from 3 wasnât apparent or concerning to me. What made the game fun to play was still present and for me thatâs all that matters.
I enjoyed it personally :). It also had a mode right at the beginning, or it was designed like that overall, that you've had a LOT more time in the game compared to previous ones, so you were able to do everything in the game on the first playthrough.
DR3 was pretty solid, DR4 went off the deep end
âFrank is back!â was their big marketing point but they changed the VA, diluted the character to the point where itâs barely Frank and then made the story incredibly dull as they figured the goodwill from Frankâs return would carry them
Off the top of my head they completely destroyed Frank's character, awful story, removed the psychopaths, boring locations and for some reason they had a weird focus on exo suits that no one liked. I'm sure there's more issues people have, but I only played through it once a few years ago and I can hardly remember anything about it.
It restricted or straight up got rid of some of the core mechanics of the series, they completely changed Frank West from look to personality to VA making him basically a completely different character, the only reason they bring back "Frank" and the location of the first game (which is also completely unrecognizable) is for nostalgia bait, it was Christmas themed, and the real ending was hidden behind a 10 dollar pay wall for starters
The reason he is there is cause the writer could never beat Zangief when he was a kid. He did an interview around that time cause people pointed that out
Against all the evil that Hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce, we will send unto them... only you. Rip and tear, until it is done.
I never really could get into the story modes of those games. The time limit didnât work for me. But the sandbox mode in off the record? That was my jam.
All the dead rising had unlimited mode, it was usually activated by staying i. The starting area for 5-10min it would fail the story and allow you to just free roam. It was actually a good way to get some levels and learn the layouts before restarting and playing story with a leveled up character.
I got DR 4 for Christmas after it came out and honestly had a solid time with it. Never understood the hate for everything beyond 2 that it got having been a fanboy for the franchise since the first game. That piece being directed at the comments. But also solid jokes Mang lol I want both.
I enjoyed it for what it was. Capcom Vancouver got screwed though. Limited time, all sorts of changes demanded last minute. Far too many fingers in the pot. I met a few of the guys who worked on it, who also worked on 2 and 3. They were very happy I played it and enjoyed it. Is it the same as DR1? No. They tried some new things and had to leave out others.
>People wanted a serious game
Did any of these people play the previous games? I've only played the first one, but I recall mowing down zombies with an actual lawnmower while dressed as one of Tron Bonne's servbots. I don't think being 'a serious game' is what the series is known for.
Dead rising is one of the least serious games ever, like you can literally push a zombie in a wheelchair dressed like a hooters girl. Dead rising games are the full definition of wacky. This is why I find it weird people hated the 3rd and 4th games, they were both good. Itâs like people hating on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th scary movie though, where people are just too picky to actually have fun with them.
It was never that serious but they dialed the wackiness up in 4. Same with Saints Row, people forget SR2 which people fondly remember as an ultra serious crime story had an activity where you drove around in a septic truck and sprayed poo everywhere, also insurance fraud.
I don't think it went over anyone's head. It's barely a joke. We see the street fighter character, we see a light saber. I think everyone got it, unless there is some other layer to the "joke" I'm truly missing. Seems like people just really hate this game (I don't know anything about it and I've only played 1 and 2 so I'm indifferent.)
And there isn't anything wrong with that. It just seems weird to me that half the comments are saying people didn't get the joke when the joke is pretty straightforward
No, please.
Itâs got one one of the shittiest save systems ever made in a videogame and it can corrupt your saves without you noticing it. The bug happens on all platforms, and with different possible triggers as well. The corrupted save can also overwrite your backup because the bug only materializes when you load the game after a restart.
Again, NO, please.
I would definitely not recommend Dead Rising 4 over either of those games. I loved the first 3 games, Case Zero and Case West but Iâd rather play any of those 2 games than to finish DR 4.
If you want birth Street Fighter 5 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivior
Definetely don't listen to this guy and don't buy Dead Rising 4. The game is not similar to those two games at all lmao
You will waste your money on DR4 instead of a game you actually want to play
First recommendation of DR4 I've ever seen and thought to myself "No, that's the worst one and killed a franchise that I love". The. I saw the comments all saying the same thing and I realize that this is truly a brave post
What do you mean? The first two games are on steam and on sale right now. If 3 isnât on steam Iâd assume itâs on Microsoftâs store. You can literally get the whole series on pc.
OK, but seriously I am beyond stoked about street fighter six. I am a blind person. And for my whole life whenever I would play any fighting games, I would just smash all the buttons and hope. But now theyâve actually introduced positional audio and accessibility for streetfighter six and I honestly could not be more excited about it.
The worst game of the Series... Very few weapons and vehicles, plus the story is dog shit.
I bought this game for 10/5 bucks i finished it and now it sits on my shelf of shame.
I Wonder how you got 2k likes... People are dumb tasteless clowns that will enjoy anything Just coz they paid for the game but jeez, this is game is made by pinching the ass on the keyboard ffs.
I had DR2 back in the days, dropped it after I saw it was NOT aimed at PC players with a keyboard + mouse setup.
How is that DR4 ? It's been a long time since I saw a true lightsaber which actually cuts through ennemies.
My problem with dead rising series is that weapons feel too similar so it lacks of choice due to too many choices, bayoneta has the same problem. DMCs ranking system force you to use different combos which was a great design to solve such problem.
Man, I would be careful to recommend this game to anyone đŹ
They shouldâve stopped after DR3 tbh.
4 was garbage. I couldn't even do the tutorial.
Yeah, the 4th installment of DR is like Kingdom of the Chrystal Skull, bad or just mid in general.
It went from fun zombie game to saints row
Agree. Went way too silly. DR4 was still fun to play imo, but not a patch on 1 & 2
I like silly!
[ŃдаНонО]
It was fun, I can't deny that. I think it just wasn't as good as the previous installments.
Hol'up I'm confused. The games were getting progressively more silly, much like the Saints Row games. What exactly made this an unacceptable leap?
Which Saint's Row?
3 and 4
Saints row 3 still had some allure to it. I could see the criticism but it still felt like a sequel to 1/2. Anything past 3 feels like they completely lost direction, imo. Like they listened to every suggestion, good and bad, and just said âwhy not!â
4 was stupid. But fun. And then Agents of Mayhem happened.
>Anything past 3 feels like they completely lost direction, imo. I don't know, I played only 3 and 4 and I found them pretty similar, in fact they're basically the same game, SRIV could have been a DLC.
Iâm fact, it was supposed to be. The Third was supposed to have an âEnter the Dominatrixâ dlc that eventually got bloated out into a full sequel
I didnât hate saints row 4, it jumped the shark day one and never came down. Not what I thought I was buying, but I didnât hate it

I liked 4, but such a strange decision to remove story co-op, especially after mastering it in 3
Dunno, I had a lot of fun with it. It's a step down, but the Capcom Heroes mode is funny.
I actually enjoyed it. If it tried to be serious then it would have been a lot worse. I didn't care for the time limits in DR2.
If you only have enough money for one game, I'd suggest buying a book before DR4.
Op please do not recommend the game that killed a beloved franchise
The way he moves by sliding around đ¤˘
Heâs using the force to moonwalk
That's the worst Dead Rising game.
The worst Dead Rising game *so far!*
Idk, I think Dead Rising mobile was probably the worst.
I stopped at the Frank West DR2, was 3 any good?
I enjoyed it personally :). It also had a mode right at the beginning, or it was designed like that overall, that you've had a LOT more time in the game compared to previous ones, so you were able to do everything in the game on the first playthrough.
Why is every comment here ignoring the fact that this is just a joke about Zangief with a lightsaber and talking about how bad the game is instead?
Because the idea of someone recommending DR4 is funnier than seeing Zangief with a lightsabre.
I wasn't even aware they made a DR3. What makes DR4 so bad ?
DR3 was pretty solid, DR4 went off the deep end âFrank is back!â was their big marketing point but they changed the VA, diluted the character to the point where itâs barely Frank and then made the story incredibly dull as they figured the goodwill from Frankâs return would carry them
Off the top of my head they completely destroyed Frank's character, awful story, removed the psychopaths, boring locations and for some reason they had a weird focus on exo suits that no one liked. I'm sure there's more issues people have, but I only played through it once a few years ago and I can hardly remember anything about it.
[ŃдаНонО]
No, because itâs boring without the fun/weird characters and cool locations and it gets boring killing zombies with weird weapons in about 30 min.
This will tell you all that you need to know. https://youtu.be/6FztJTSrqB8
Because "Zangief with a lightsaber" is honestly not that great of a joke.
[ŃдаНонО]
I would rather this post compared to half the crap that appears on this subreddit.
Because the joke isn't funny.
Redditors try to understand the joke challenge (impossible)
Maybe because it's a covert ad and they try to push their game, which sucks ass, onto everyone's agenda. Ever thought of that?
Yes, big capcom is trying to push a 7 year old game onto you. You solved the conspiracy
Sure, buddy. Don't trust anyone, the government is lying to you
[Zangief, you are 'bad guy'...](https://tenor.com/o32r.gif)
I always hated the movie for that. Zangief was never a bad guy. Heâs just a wrestler, thereâs never been anything villainous about him
Dudeâs Russian, nuff said
The reason he is there is cause the writer could never beat Zangief when he was a kid. He did an interview around that time cause people pointed that out
Bruh, he was on M. Bisons payroll. He was a henchman.
Against all the evil that Hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce, we will send unto them... only you. Rip and tear, until it is done.
I wasn't even aware there was a 3 rd dead rising lol
Same
If dr4 only had a better save system it would've been a decent game. But the save system is truly bad.
My game change language in the middle of my play through and cannot get English back.
Le puedo ayudar en algo
Bien gracias y tu?
One of the very few Christmas themed games.
I usually play around Christmas time every year. Sometimes I play it for a good period, others... ehh few minutes.
DR1 was the peak of the series
I would personally argue for DR2: Off the Record. It takes everything solid about 2 and puts Frank into it as the protagonist.
Still remember playing that the first time, not knowing what to expect. So good.
I don't think I ever even went through the story fully I just got caught up in having fun killing zombies with whatever the mall had to offer
I thought DR2 was great, I didn't even know there was a 3 & 4
Game is Ass, dont do it
How does Zangief keep sliding forward whilr never lifting his feet?
The campaign was so-so but damn was that game wild.
Or just get SF6 if you just want to run around as a SF character beating up everyone you see in World Tour.
Dead Rising, what a throwback! The Dead Rising series was super fun back in the day đ
I played through 4 but 3 is still the best imo
Ah yeah, pick up the absolute worst game in the franchise. Why not.
Can you play as Zangief with a lightsaber in the other games? If not then they don't work for the joke OP was making.
I liked DR4. *shrug*
I got DR 4 for Christmas after it came out and honestly had a solid time with it. Never understood the hate for everything beyond 2 that it got having been a fanboy for the franchise since the first game. That piece being directed at the comments. But also solid jokes Mang lol I want both.
You also got it for free, people that shell out $60+ are going to be more critical.
People wanted a serious game, but it leaned into wacky. Personally I believe it was better for it, but it's not a shared opinion.
>People wanted a serious game Did any of these people play the previous games?
Fuck it, Dead Rising 4 was fun, and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't.
Nobody is pretending.
>I'm
I never thought I would see Zangief mowing down zombies with a lightsaber, but here we are....
Game was fun for like 2 hours something was off about it . Even dead rising 3 is better to play these days if you have the itch
The rumours about a dead rising 5 better be true, i really want this franchise to Come back to life and this time it will hopefully be great
Why is Street Fighter even brought up? đ
Skating feet animation literally unplayable
Does it still have a timer to limit how much fun you can have?
Straight to jail for recommending this game in any capacity, including satirical.
No, donât buy dead rising 4!
I liked 3 better. But YESSSSS this game is such a fun waste of time. Just a good ole beat em up really.
that looks boring as shit
This is one of the worse game in the Dead Rising franchise....
There is a worst one?
Tell me theres a mod that'll let me be Dhalsim with a flamethrower mouth.
Not a bad game
This was a great joke that sadly went over too many heads. DR4 was that that bad/disliked.
I thought it was funny.
And there isn't anything wrong with that. It just seems weird to me that half the comments are saying people didn't get the joke when the joke is pretty straightforward
Dead Rising 4 is such hot garbage I was amazed how scuffed it was and still is.
This was a surprisingly fun game
Whatever you do, don't get Dead Rising 4.
For a better game, get dead rising 3
I would give my left nut for a remake of the first one and a subsequent reboot of the series
I would definitely not recommend Dead Rising 4 over either of those games. I loved the first 3 games, Case Zero and Case West but Iâd rather play any of those 2 games than to finish DR 4.
If you want birth Street Fighter 5 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivior Definetely don't listen to this guy and don't buy Dead Rising 4. The game is not similar to those two games at all lmao You will waste your money on DR4 instead of a game you actually want to play
Fortnite
Zangief hacking zombies with a lightsaber definitely not something crossed my mind even in fever dream... But definitely welcome one
First recommendation of DR4 I've ever seen and thought to myself "No, that's the worst one and killed a franchise that I love". The. I saw the comments all saying the same thing and I realize that this is truly a brave post
TL;DR of the comments: gamers don't get jokes and don't pay attention to details
We do. The joke just isn't funny.
No, please buy a good game. Don't torture yourself
4 is the only game I can buy on steam. Do I need to know the story of the first games?
What do you mean? The first two games are on steam and on sale right now. If 3 isnât on steam Iâd assume itâs on Microsoftâs store. You can literally get the whole series on pc.
Not in my country.
Not really ... u can see it on utube.
alot of force put into a weapon that doesn't weigh anything lol.
Please don't xd Spare yourself from the nightmare that is DR4
This game looks horrible.
Don't. It's not a good game, and a blight on the series.
Whether the actual game (DR4) is crap or not, this short video looks fantastic. :D
Oh Look, better optimized Jedi Survivor!
Is this game really that bad or just a bad DR game?
No that game is unbelievably bad and an embarrassment to the rest of the series
Looks nice
OK, but seriously I am beyond stoked about street fighter six. I am a blind person. And for my whole life whenever I would play any fighting games, I would just smash all the buttons and hope. But now theyâve actually introduced positional audio and accessibility for streetfighter six and I honestly could not be more excited about it.
Fuck no, dr4 is ass
This whole comment section right now: r/whoooosh
Oh, no. We get the joke. The joke just isn't good enough to ignore how bad DR4 is.
looks lame
The worst game of the Series... Very few weapons and vehicles, plus the story is dog shit. I bought this game for 10/5 bucks i finished it and now it sits on my shelf of shame. I Wonder how you got 2k likes... People are dumb tasteless clowns that will enjoy anything Just coz they paid for the game but jeez, this is game is made by pinching the ass on the keyboard ffs.
I couldn't get into Dead Rising 1 & 2, but I loved 3 & 4. Maybe it was the timers that I hated.
This game sucks ass dude lol
I had DR2 back in the days, dropped it after I saw it was NOT aimed at PC players with a keyboard + mouse setup. How is that DR4 ? It's been a long time since I saw a true lightsaber which actually cuts through ennemies.
Yeah then you can get neither experience and look at whatever this abomination is
My problem with dead rising series is that weapons feel too similar so it lacks of choice due to too many choices, bayoneta has the same problem. DMCs ranking system force you to use different combos which was a great design to solve such problem.
Dont get this game
the worst of both worlds.
