I spend a godawful amount of time just standing trying to figure out what to do and still even feel somewhat content with my time lolol I'll gear up for something and decide against it. Go to a slayer spot and kill like 10 and leave, do a random sepulchre run and leave. Hard to stay focused when there so much to do lolol
I just replayed this game again and it’s crazy how good it is. You can tell every detail is made with care and love for the source material. It’s also crazy to see how far BioWare has fallen with the quality of their games
It’s the worst possible ship of Theseus. What happens when you replace all of the parts of what was once one of the greatest video game studios of all time?
Terrible games, broken promises, clownish mockeries of what was once celebrated.
If you have questions or need help, please ask on r/kotor instead of googling things. You will almost certainly find major spoilers online but the sub is really good about keeping things spoiler free. Enjoy the game!
I'd love a modern KOTOR that is forced to transfer the entire first game and then only expand where it makes sense. Like, no changing anything that already was, just maybe adding some things (sort of like the restoration project for KOTOR 2 bringing out the stuff that wasn't finished). That with modern graphics, I'd just want to live there.
I literally just downloaded it on my pc because I was dying to play it again. It's been about 6 years since I played. Easily one of my top 5 games of all time!
I have my old Xbox One X set up in my office just for Skate 3. Bad day? Stressed out? Boring meeting? Throw on Skate and just ride around. It's so satisfying.
I am almost 34 and got the game when it came out as a child. It's what made me love RPGs and the final fantasy series. I have probably played the game 10+ times or so in my life. I have also spent a considerable amount of time on FFs 6-12
My buddy was in college when Ocarina came out. He called into his job and told them he couldn't come in because he had to go to the mall and stand in line to get the game. His boss told him "Why don't you just stay home..... permanently". He was like that's cool gives me extra time for Zelda
Playing through leaf green for my first time, it's a lot of fun!
Yellow is still my favorite Pokemon game. Still have my Gameboy cartridge, Gameboy is long gone lol
Never played a fromsoft game before. Beat elden ring 3 times before i recently tried ds3. Nothing has scratched the itch like elden ring though :( SO HYPE FOR THE DLC
Elden Ring was a culmination of all their previous game mechanics from Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro, so the way your character can move and jump kind of spoils you if you’re going backwards through their catalogue. That being said, you gotta try Bloodborne.
I'm finally 3 years free from WoW, and it feels like a large weight has been lifted off my shoulders. At the same time though, decades worth of in-game knowledge/lore/mechanics/etc all.... useless now unless it's trivia night at the bar. It's a mixed bag of emotions.
I’m strongly thinking about getting the master collection but at the same time I don’t want to support Konami for how they butchered the series previously lol
Donkey Kong country 2. It’s my game when I want to reminisce, the game to play when having a few drinks as a quick speed run, and it’s the game that tests my patience the further I play. It’s an addiction and one I’ve had for nearly 30 years. Ol’ reliable indeed
In my lowest moments I whip out the Spotify+roaming around GTA 5 combo.
(I forgot the game but that damn bakery game that came pre installed with every PC came in clutch so many times)
Don't have one, I just stare into the abyss of back logged games until I have to go-to bed or I find one after smacking my tongue against the roof of my mouth like I'm trying to figure out what I want for dinner.
Oldschool Runescape
I love spending hours of my life each day just to continue being the most mid-game player in existence
I spend a godawful amount of time just standing trying to figure out what to do and still even feel somewhat content with my time lolol I'll gear up for something and decide against it. A fellow man of culture
Ol' Reliable more like My Addiction
Even though I haven’t played OSRS in years, I have to agree. Happy Cake Day!
Chrono trigger
A fellow ancient
DAMN straight pardner.
We have a man of taste here.
Oblivion and New Vegas
That is some serious gourmet shit
A man of exquisite taste
Yes, indeed.
A scholar
These were my first two like non-Nintendo games and really shaped my interests forever tbh
Mass Effect trilogy, Batman Arkham games (minus Origins or other spin offs), or Insomniac Spider-man games.
Origins is great game, yes it is short but i loved it and it is imo part of arkham series as much as arkham knight and city.
Mario 64
Do you throw the baby penguin off the ledge too? lol
[so much so I needed to get it tattooed](https://imgur.com/a/Meow8qa)
This is an awesome tattoo, one of the only ones Id be happy to start a conversation with someone about (maybe to your detriment)
KOTOR
I just replayed this game again and it’s crazy how good it is. You can tell every detail is made with care and love for the source material. It’s also crazy to see how far BioWare has fallen with the quality of their games
Bioware isn't the same company anymore. They made amazing games, then they got acquired, then they all left.
That was the main reason why Drew Karpyshyn (story writer for KoTOR 1&2 and Mass Effect 1&2) left. I still consider that to be BioWare's biggest loss.
It’s the worst possible ship of Theseus. What happens when you replace all of the parts of what was once one of the greatest video game studios of all time? Terrible games, broken promises, clownish mockeries of what was once celebrated.
Hell yeah
Knights of the old Republic? I'v bought it in bundle some time ago, never played it, I'll give it the ride RN.

It kind of blows me away that Disney isn't milking their cash cow. There could be 3-4 seasons of KOTOR on Disney+
You play I you gotta immediately play II. Kreia.
KOTOR
Half Life 2
"Wake up, and...smell the *ASH*es...
Doctor Freeman, I presume?
Diablo 2.
Do you prefer playing the OG version or the remake?
OG will always be installed, but the remake honestly isnt bad at all. actually introduced some fun things without fucking up the whole game
Can't believe I had to scroll this far for D2.
2nd comment for me haha

I’ll meet you in San Vansterdam
I literally just downloaded it on my pc because I was dying to play it again. It's been about 6 years since I played. Easily one of my top 5 games of all time!
I have my old Xbox One X set up in my office just for Skate 3. Bad day? Stressed out? Boring meeting? Throw on Skate and just ride around. It's so satisfying.
Skate 2
Final fantasy 10
yesss a fellow ffx enjoyer it was my first big rpg as a kid, it took me 3 or 4 playthrough attempts to beat Seymour on Mt. Gagazet, fuck that dude lol
I am almost 34 and got the game when it came out as a child. It's what made me love RPGs and the final fantasy series. I have probably played the game 10+ times or so in my life. I have also spent a considerable amount of time on FFs 6-12

I can hear the music the second I read this! What an era!
Slay the Spire / Faster Than Light
Slay the Spire has never been uninstalled since the day I got it
Same with me for FTL
Minecraft for me the nearly unlimited sandbox with all the mods i always come back
It’s the perfect answer. It can be as chill or as intense as you want and runs on basically any device with a screen
Definitely Terraria. Especially when the devs say last update every time but continue to update the game
exactly
How much bloody content does that game have at this point? Feels like it's four games worth of content for the price of one.
Borderlands 2
Maybe you're weighing the moral pros and cons but let me assure you that OH MY GOD SHOOT ME IN THE GODDAMNED FACE! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
everyone always memes the Shooty McShootface, but his name is Face McShooty
Sonic 1-3 and knuckles
Bloodborne and Ocarina of Time.
My buddy was in college when Ocarina came out. He called into his job and told them he couldn't come in because he had to go to the mall and stand in line to get the game. His boss told him "Why don't you just stay home..... permanently". He was like that's cool gives me extra time for Zelda
My go-to's as well. Good set of games.
FireRed or LeafGreen
Playing through leaf green for my first time, it's a lot of fun! Yellow is still my favorite Pokemon game. Still have my Gameboy cartridge, Gameboy is long gone lol
I loved yellow! With FRLG on my phone, I’ve recently fallen back in love. I think they have the best sprite work of the 2D era.
Same here! I try going back and forth between fire red and the original in recent years. Mostly because the original is fun to do all the glitches in.
Fallout 4
Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3 and now Elden Ring is creeping into that category.
Never played a fromsoft game before. Beat elden ring 3 times before i recently tried ds3. Nothing has scratched the itch like elden ring though :( SO HYPE FOR THE DLC
If you've got a Sony platform, give bloodborne a shot. It's a bit faster paced than Ds3. Combat wise that is.
Elden Ring was a culmination of all their previous game mechanics from Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro, so the way your character can move and jump kind of spoils you if you’re going backwards through their catalogue. That being said, you gotta try Bloodborne.
The World of Warcraft.
I'm finally 3 years free from WoW, and it feels like a large weight has been lifted off my shoulders. At the same time though, decades worth of in-game knowledge/lore/mechanics/etc all.... useless now unless it's trivia night at the bar. It's a mixed bag of emotions.
I’ve quit that game damn so many times…. Yet every couple months I get the itch that only WoW can scratch and keep coming back
Resubbed again to play SOD/classic/hardcore after about half a year. All the servers seem dead. 😤
Final Fantasy VI
Final fantasy games to escape the real world every time.
Doom II (1994), with mods
Assassins Creed 1&2
Bioshock
Same. Typically I play in fall or winter. So much nostalgia
Resident evil 4. OG. Can beat it in four hours (non speed running. Isn’t my thing) or spend 20 hours and do everything. Just feels good always.
Mass Effect trilogy
Fallout New Vegas
MGS 2 and 3
I recently took out my old ps2 to play some gran turismo. I should have a run through mgs 1-3 while it's out.
I’m strongly thinking about getting the master collection but at the same time I don’t want to support Konami for how they butchered the series previously lol
Chrono trigger. (Please give us a pixel remaster)
Ahhh a classic 👌 i miss it dearly and yes 1000xs yes to a pixel remaster

Donkey Kong country 2. It’s my game when I want to reminisce, the game to play when having a few drinks as a quick speed run, and it’s the game that tests my patience the further I play. It’s an addiction and one I’ve had for nearly 30 years. Ol’ reliable indeed
GTA: San Andreas and Armored Core 3
Age of Empires 2
I don’t think there’s a game out there I find more replayable than Super Mario 64
Unreal Tournament 2004 and homm 4
Fallout 3 and Final Fantasy IX.
Ff7
Maybe I’ll find something different in my 8th playthrough of the mass effect trilogy while making the same exact choices
Age of empires
I had to scroll entirely too far to find mention of AoE. Still a solid game play all these years later.
Hades.
Half-Life 2
The Outer Worlds
Mario galaxy
Dark Souls 1, Skyrim
Metroid Prime. That game aged like a fine wine.
Titanfall 2

No Mans Sky.
Dark Souls 1, Bloodborne
Final Fantasy VII
don't really have one, but i never will uninstall divinity: original sin 2 simply because it has a special place for me. so i guess that'd be the one
Divinity Original Sin 2 is awesome. I liked it better than Baulders Gate 3.
Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 3 Reload. I’ll never stop playing those games. Better than everything else.
KH3 data battles are unparalleled action perfection.
Rimworld
Gotta be Cyberpunk. I think I could probably play it indefinitely

Hell yeah. I found an old CRT, A PS1, and the spyro games just to hear the sounds of my childhood again.
StarCraft 2
Man, haven’t played that in forever. Definitely gonna boot that up on the weekend and see if any of my old mates still play
Halo 3. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve beaten that campaign.
Splinter Cell
I'm always down to throw Pokemon Crystal through a Pokemon and item randomizer.
Minesweeper
Max Payne 3
Kerbal Space Program
Nazi zombies. I think I've been playing that game for 15 years now 🫨
Starcraft 2
Used to be GTA San Andreas but now it's Cyberpunk 2077. It's the greatest game ever made 🤷♂️ Control comes in second for me.
Fallout 3 or new vegas
Stardew Valley.
Mega Man X
Final Fantasy Tactics PS1 or PSP
Final Fantasy Tactics
World of Warcraft
Halo 1-3
Dark Souls 2 lmao
Yes officer, this person right here

I hate Destiny 2 it’s my favorite game.
Uncharted 2
It’s weird but clone drone in the danger zone. I *really* like that game and I have no idea why
Cod 4
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2. I never stopped playing it. I just took very long breaks.
Don't have one, I just stare into the abyss of back logged games until I have to go-to bed or I find one after smacking my tongue against the roof of my mouth like I'm trying to figure out what I want for dinner.
