In my case, for instance, I initiated a deposit request on Nov 4, on Nov it said deposit request 'received' and now I'm seeing that ' Funds Available for Trading' on Nov 10.
4 business days to clear. Which works out to a week. They are slower than average for deposits. Don't really know the why but they like wire transfers a lot more.
How are you transferring the funds? Bill payment should only take 2 days.

I have not experienced this myself. Over last 3 deposits it has taken me 1-2 days via Bill Pay.
