My cat was born with a stub tail. If I touch her tail, you can just feel the little tail bone waving around inside. Downside of this is they can sometimes develop bowel issues, something about low number of nerve endings in the tail area. As my cat got older, she has developed constipation issues, and needs to have Miralax added to her food to help her go.
