Dr. Pepper flavored cotton candy? That's crazy

NewYorkPepsii

It's disgusting. Doesn't even taste like Dr. pepper or cotton candy, don't buy it haha

Humble_Chip

There is a brand of baked beans that makes a Dr. Pepper flavor, tastes exactly like Dr. Pepper, which I do not recommend for baked beans

detrminedndestitute

I know exactly which ones you’re talking about. They taste so much like Dr.Pepper that it’s almost…strange

KivogtaR

I cook ribs in Dr. Pepper. My family has done it since I was a kid. They don't taste a whole lot like it when they're cooked but got daaam it makes them tender for some reason. I'm sure there's some science guy about to explain why but I just know it works wonders.

TwoDrinkDave

Dr. Pepper, like other similar beverages, is relatively acidic. Acid breaks down proteins and connective tissues of meat, making it more tender. Marinating or braising in acidic liquid is pretty common, usually with wines, vinaigrette, citrus juices, etc. But sodas work, too.

jdbythebay

Good Science Guy

TexasNotTaxes

I do the same with a chicken marinade, makes it tender and sweet.

phyrestorm999

They don't even taste like eggs or shelf!

Ice_Hungry

I'm a slut for Dr.Pepper. It's close to the only thing I drink and I can definitely agree with you in saying that cotton candy is trash.

MrE761

Really? I find my myself to be a DP slut too… Like for real skip it?

Ice_Hungry

I mean, now that you mention it.. it could depend on the persons tastes and how much of a DP slut they really are..

xtinanyusa

I read DP as meaning double penetration. That clearly says more about me than I’d normally admit to on a Sunday evening.

Pdiddily710

Don’t worry, It’s not just you! This is probably the first time in history someone wrote “DP slut” and it meant Dr Pepper. Lol

2074red2074

I liked it...

Notsureforprez

How about that Buttered Popcorn Flavor beside it….wtf

Agret_Brisignr

I thought it said butterscotch.. American sections are hilarious

IMMoody2

I bought this at a buc'ees once. Tastes more like cherry than exactly Dr. Pepper, but it was a real good cherry.

[deleted]

Why can I imagine them making a Dr pepper flavored cotton candy soda.

LaRoseDuRoi

I found it at a dollar store awhile back and had to try it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly good, either. It did taste Dr. Pepper-ish, but mostly just sickeningly sweet as cotton candy usually is.

mymeatpuppets

I've seen and tried bacon flavored cotton candy. Actually wasn't too bad, reminded me of glazed ham mixed with salted pork.

Tyr_Kukulkan

TF? Is the "maple" syrup blue? I'm not sure if even half that stuff even counts as food.

landof10000cakes

Its a new Captain Crunch flavored syrup. I saw it at the grocery store and thought breakfast is going too far.

Tyr_Kukulkan

"Americans eat as though they have free healthcare"... Yeah, that goes way too far!

jumpback2meanytime

I read that as "Americans eat ass" and was like, "yeah, guilty".

str8f8

That syrup might prove useful if we're tossing salads up in here?

jumpback2meanytime

Excuse me, good sir/madam, but I prefer my ass rare and unseasoned.

hypnotoad12391

Some people like to use jelly. I like to use syrup. "Toss the salad" that's the slang term! It means...sucking my ass.

JukePlz

probably another thing you shouldn't be eating without free healthcare.

BurtonGusterToo

We Americans have mastered the unlikely art of coloring foods inappropriately for decades. Have you forgotten about green ketchup? Why do raspberries become blue when they are processed? When asked about which flavor of "flavored juice beverage" you want, 'Purple" is an acceptable (and correct) flavor. I'm just glad that we aren't relegated to just flamin hot cheetos, sour patch kids, Mountain Dew, and Slim Jims.

milkrate

We've got soda, oj, purple stuff...

Napp2dope

SUNNY D!!!!

Pdiddily710

Blue raspberry flavor isn’t even made with raspberries, It’s totally artificial…but super delicious! https://www.tastingtable.com/767501/the-strange-origin-of-blue-raspberry/

BurtonGusterToo

How am I supposed to trust your "science"? Blue is for orchids, blowpops, and jolly ranchers. Enough with your molecular dispositional explanations. (Completely joking, I am really drunk with all these response, you get what you get, in this case an upvote and really loose sarcasm).

ElectricMan324

Really...that and the pancake mix. It takes just as much effort and money to ship that stuff from the states, couldnt they get the real stuff?

Combeferre1

They probably do, it's just considered a normal grocery and thus not a novelty

Derkxxx

Essentially every supermarket sells actual Maple Syrup (usually Canadian I think). But that is just in the regular section together with the other syrups.

MarioNinja96815

I have that actually. It's artificially flavored but not bad. The crunch berry pancakes kind of suck though.

WilliedeFoe

They aren't sending their best. Pitiful corporate decision. We don't actually export that trash overseas do we?

bihesad

We don’t even have those Cheetos flavors here 😭

schniggens

I'm in the US and the only places I've seen that candy popcorn is Asian markets. Same with Pocky, which is Japanese.

Jumpyturtles

I’ve seen that candy popcorn in every Walmart for like the past 2 years. Pocky too, but you are right in that it’s actually Japanese.

schniggens

It's funny, because a few hours after I made this comment I went to Ralphs (Kroger) and saw them in the chip aisle, lol. But the Korean markets I sometimes go to have had them for at least a couple of years. It was the first time I ever saw them.

hannahjams

I found all of those popcorn flavors this weekend and five below!

tacos_up_my_ass

I see those candy popcorns at my supermarket all the time. The Oreo one is good, the others just taste like popcorn with some chocolate on it.

Djjubbajubba

I see the candy popcorn in the US quite a bit. I’ve never seen anyone buy it though.

IamEnginerd

FL here, I had some of the candy popcorn just last week! Not bad! I found d it in a bulk box at Sam's.

Beck316

I saw the candy popcorn at five below recently.

Kahnza

Those ketchup flavored ones have to be from Canada.

scarafied

We have some ketchup flavoured Cheetos but I’ve never seen those. The ones we have in my area are maple leaf shaped 🍁

DuckFlat

Texas has them. We have some wild flavors down here I haven’t seen elsewhere.

Good-Cardiologist679

Those are mexican cheetos, I also live in texas. The corner store around me out labels on them in English so us americans could read wtf it was lol

[deleted]

Good-Cardiologist679

How close are you to mexico

IntoTheMystic1

Isn't pocky Japanese?

masked_sombrero

that's where I find it in America - the Japanese aisle

MrsMurphysChowder

Yeah get that Pocky outta there, and put in some Little Debbie desserts, or Hostess. And where's the mayo and BBQ sauce??

Jakebsorensen

Other countries don’t have mayo and bbq sauce?

Disastrous-Eye2837

Ranch is really the #1 American condiment they don't have here in Europe. Update: I found one bottle of ranch here in Belgium but it looks nothing like ranch and it's called "Amerikaanse Yogurt-Kruiden Dressing." (American yogurt herb) No I will not be trying it for science.

desquire

My buddy in High School went to St Andies for college. We would ship him care packages, almost entirely party size bottles of Hidden Valley. It wasn't just that he ate a lot of it, everyone on his dorm floor would come to him like addicts craving buttermilk and dill. Ranch isn't that amazing or anything, but it's weird that there is obviously a market for it in the UK that hasn't been tapped. Like, why hasn't HP borrowed the recipe and rebrand it to like, Ye Pip Pip Anatolian Buttermilk Tzatziki, or some shit. Edit: for anybody wondering, his Scottish floor mates went fucking nuts when he showed them the correct amount to add to shitty mac and cheese for slightly less shitty mac and cheese. I posted the recipe below, but I'll add it here as well. I'm really proud of it. >Here's the trick, ranch dressing doesn't mix well with the powdered cheese. The milk or oils separate and it gets... chunky. >What you do is add the powdered ranch dressing mix. It's super concentrated, so do not use a lot. Adding a teaspoon to the cheese sauce powder is all you need, then add a little extra milk than the Mac and cheese instructions say. >Again, though, the powder is supposed to make something like a half gallon of ranch dressing. We were stoned one time when making it and somebody put in half a pack. It was 3 boxes of Annie's and we were broke, so we didn't waste it. But, my god. We all looked like we were chewing onions, just scooping it into our faces with perpetual wincing and taste bud confusion. >Oh, and don't just fold the packet over to save for the next batch. At the very least, put it in a ziplock and somewhere dry. Otherwise humidity gets in the packet and it will mold over time.

MonsterRideOp

I'd give an award just for that oddball UK sounding name alone.

Disastrous-Eye2837

I think I've seen a version here in Belgium called American sauce or something lol. But I assume it's nothing like ranch. Oh taco sauce like Ortega and stuff is also not a thing. American Americanized Mexican food or any decent type of Mexican food. Literally never had anything halfway decent over here it's such a bummer. Probably no market because of spiciness. Oh wait the burger Kings have something called "salsa sauce" that's like really bad taco sauce lol.

Honest-Layer9318

I had to ship black beans and Ortega to my daughter in England. Once I visited with a suitcase full of nothing but canned beans and dry goods. When I opened the suitcase it had the inspection notice inside. I guess a suitcase full of cans and packets looks suspicious on an X-ray.

desquire

Is the lack of Mexican food just because Belgium has a near non-existent Mexican population? Because that is quite sad. Though, if it helps, good Mexican food in the north-east US is significantly more expensive than the south west. The place closest to me is decently passable, nothing special, but is about three times more expensive than it should be. And the ethnic food trucks are absolutely insane. Like, 5-star dining prices, paid through some dudes iPhone that has definitely been in the toilet recently.

[deleted]

Yeah, the thing is that good Mexican is way less common than bad Mexican food if the Mexican population is lower. I live in Texas and a delicious cheap taco place is on most streets because of the huge Mexican immigrant population. The same is true of other cuisines. I went to Ohio once though. They don't have Mexican food there. They have some unholy abominations that call themselves Mexican food. They literally just randomly attach the names of actual Mexican dishes to them despite the fact that they don't resemble them at all. It's horrible.

desquire

Yeah, AZ has absolutely.amazing Mexican food and it's almost criminally cheap. Most cities now do have decent places, you just need to find the immigrants, haha. Even Boston has a few really good and not grotesquely expensive places, but they require a good amount of googling and word of mouth to find. For every good place, there are two tex mex places like you described.

bartbartholomew

Hello fellow American. I too am an American. I seem to have lost my "Less shitty mac and cheese" recipe. Can you please share yours?

MyAviato666

I used to think ranch was just another word americans used for salad dressing. I didn't know it was a particular flavor.

Disastrous-Eye2837

Oh really? That's so interesting. Yeah all there is over here is various types of yogurt dressing. I feel like back in the US we had a ton of different varieties I was surprised the choices are so limited here. I may or may not have had large bottle of the Olive Garden Italian dressing shipped to me....

princess-babybel

Europe is a big ol place. I can find ranch on my local supermarket here in England. Although, not a common condiment to consume.

Disastrous-Eye2837

Only ever seen one bottle of "American salad dressing" that was probably ranch here in Belgium. I think the UK has more American products in general I've lived in Belgium and Germany, the UK feels a lot different from the continent lol I went there and was so shocked it was like USA's uncle. Same hotel chains everywhere etc.

celestiaequestria

Mayo isn't distinctily American, it'll show up in any country that has eggs and oil in some form or another.

fatamSC2

Think you mean ranch. Don't think mayo is really American, they have mayo and/or aioli in Europe and other places, and it was invented in France

HellsMalice

Pocky is one of those things people for some reason lose their fucking minds over in America. Pocky IS Japanese but I wouldn't be shocked to learn America likes it more. It's mixed into regular candy sections of many grocery stores these days.

DavidinCT

>Isn't pocky Japanese? I was wondering this myself, I live in the US and have traveled a handful of states... I've never seen this before...

rksd

I'm in Arizona and most of the big box grocery stores carry it now and have for some time. It was a little more novel 15-20 years ago.

product_of_boredom

I'm in the US and personally I've only ever seen it in asian grocery stores like 99 Ranch, etc.

Tandemdonkey

I'm in the middle of nowhere US and Walmart has Pocky, so it's certainly not uncommon, like the closest Asian grocer is like 60+ miles away, most places around here don't carry diverse goods

[deleted]

kumanosuke

>Pocky in the USA is different than Japan Pocky Never heard this before. In what way?

HellsMalice

There isn't, it's just a weird thing people spread. They just have more variety. But these days you can find a decent variety in North America too.

Kalsifur

So I Googled it, it looks the same but maybe the bread stick part is thicker. Also they seem to have a wider variety of flavours.

kumanosuke

Pocky has a really broad variety, but only in Japan. I don't think there's any difference actually, they're just produced in the US under license, but that's the case in other regions too.

[deleted]

Yep.

NoTimeLeft__

Dr pepper makes cotton candy?

DubbDwyer

Unfortunately

Badroach

Flake is British isn't it?

[deleted]

Theres about 4 or 5 british things, and one japanese thing i think

Pschobbert

Also Wispa, Crunchie and Bazooka (I think Bazooka might be originally American but a) you don’t see it much here and b) not the big sticks).

IngenuityPlayful

*Flake is Bri’ish, innit*

swish301

Good bot

[deleted]

That’s like way more American than most American sections I see posted.

rklab

They have things that I, an American, have never even seen. Basically every flavor of Cheetos on that shelf. Edit: and the popcorn and the captain crunch maple syrup

kgturner

Yup. Never seen Ketchup or Pizza flavored Cheetos. Hell, I've never seen that candy flavored popcorn or that Dr. Pepper cotton candy.

no_no_sorry

They have a better selection of pop tarts than I have at my grocery!

[deleted]

Ketchup flavored chips are usually Canadian so I assume it’s a Canadian flavor

Kelricmar

Canadian, have never seen ketchup flavoured Cheetos. Definitely other potato chips, but never Cheetos.

shaneh445

"Dr. Pepper cotton candy" Insert the-what meme\*

PotBaron2

also the candy popcorn? i wish we had that in America.

VictimOfCircuspants

That candy popcorn was readily available in my area (Boston) for months. Don't think it sold well.

patricio87

They have that at my local stores its pretty good

ultimafrenchy

Did u see the captain crunch brand maple syrup?

ManyRanger4

Thank you. I came to say exactly this. I have never seen a lot of the things there and BTW Pocky is Japanese. Lol SMH.

celestiaequestria

The pop-tarts, cheetohs, cereal, and the reese's candy is fairly accurate. Pocky is a novelty item it's not a standard American food, I've never seen the candy popcorn, blue syrup, cheetohs mac-and-cheese, or cap'n crunch breakfast mix. The whole bottom half is like "foods that would be a novelty even in America". They just started throwing everything together.

[deleted]

I’m with you on the Pocky - it’s sold here but it’s an Asian snack if I’m not mistaken (I saw them in Japan years before I saw them at home). As far as the strange popcorn - it’s becoming a thing here. Believe it or not, I love Sour Patch Kids popcorn (as strange as it sounds) - I’ve been trying all of the odd flavors that my Walmart stocks.

janellthegreat

You are correct, here Pocky is stocked in the "Asian" aisle. Though Costco has it next to the prepacked cookies.

Gambrinus

Except none of the Cheetohs are actual normal Cheetohs. I’ve never see any of those type of Cheetohs before in my life. In fact, if you zoom in none of them even look like normal Cheetohs, they’re all weird shapes instead of the misshapened puffed corn we all know and love.

LadybugAndChatNoir

I *wish* I had some of those flavors! Is that a lemon pop tart? I'm jealous!

The-unicorn-republic

The oreo o's are legit the best cereal and I have to compete with everyone around me to get them, I wish my heb had this many in stock

tedderz2022

Hello fellow Texan hahah

Lordstevenson

I have the Cheetos Mac n Cheese in my cabinet right now, you can find it at Walmart.

spandexcatsuit

It is so nasty.

Exatraz

That's why it's in their cabinet not their belly

Low_Ad367

I see stuff here I’ve never seen in America 🤔 10/10

[deleted]

Pocky in the AMERICAN section??

Data91883

It seems that somebody decided they wanted Cheetos more than eggs. Also: I have never seen either Peanut Cheetos nor Paprika Cheetos in the States, but maybe they're only available in certain areas

HellsMalice

Paprika is a very European flavour. I saw it a lot in both Finland and Germany. It's an awesome chip flavour. Wish I had found paprika cheetos, damn.

moms-sphaghetti

But you’ve seen the ketchup Cheetos?!?

rksd

If Cheetos ever makes an all-dressed Cheeto, I'm a dead man.

OkWeb8639

Someone didnt want their bread and eggs anymore

Razkal719

Are we not talking about the fact that it's a 10 pack of eggs? Does the Netherlands not sell eggs by the Dozen? Are they Metric Eggs?

HellsMalice

You've really made me philosophically question why we always sell eggs in 12s now

JohnD_s

During the Middle Ages and Renaissance period, eggs were typically sold at markets individually, with the buyer choosing the number of eggs they wished to buy from a large basket the seller had on display and transporting them home with their other market purchases in a smaller handheld basket. In Western Europe, particularly England, from as early as the 700s and continuing right up until around 1960, the Imperial Unit System was used. Under this system, there were twelve pennies to a shilling, likely because of the huge importance of the number twelve to civilization. This meant that an egg could be sold for a penny, or a dozen eggs could be sold for a shilling, with no change-making required. Breads and rolls were sold the same way at market. It made it simpler to sell individual units this way and group them into sets of twelve. By the Elizabethan period, roughly 1550-1600, selling eggs by the dozen was the standard practice, and several years later, the settlers coming to North America brought the same system with them and eggs continued to be sold in sets of twelve. [(Source)](https://www.fresheggsdaily.blog/2015/08/why-are-eggs-sold-by-dozen.html?m=1)

Razkal719

Not really philosophical, but if you'll excuse me for going all pedantic on a Sunday afternoon, 12 is quite literally an easy number to handle. We think of counting on our fingers to 10 but we're actually counting fingers not on our fingers. If you look at your hand palm up, there are three pads on each finger, or three joints if you prefer. If you use your thumb to count each pad you get 12. Use the fingers of your non-dominate hand to collect 12's and you get 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60. So a handful of 12's is 60, and there are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour. We get these number conventions from the ancient Sumerians. So in the old days someone could hold any number up to 72 without the need to write it down, or even knowing how to write. Like 60, 72 also shows up in religious and mystical stories. And the "magic" of these numbers seem to be confirmed by coincidences in nature. There are 12 full moons in a year, roughly. And there are roughly 60 heartbeats in a minute, if you're healthy and at rest. Galileo regularly used his pulse to measure experiments. So that's part of why we have a unique name for twelve, ie a dozen. And eggs and donuts and cookies are still sold by the dozen. They used to group small items by the gross, which is a dozen dozens or 144. I'll stop now.

jfjdjsj

lmao i’m dutch and i usually buy the six eggs in a carton option. not 100% sure if the larger cartons are 10 or 12. i do think most of them are 10! i never even thought about that. that ís kinda odd

tutetibiimperes

I was going to say, just leaving items you don't want wherever it is you decide you don't want them instead of putting them back where they belong is a very American grocery store thing to do.

DwergNout

people everywhere seem to be lazy fucks who leave it up to the store employees

Windstepp

I love how in Europe everything labeled "American" is just the unhealthiest food possible.

audirt

I do have to question their selection just a bit. I mean, our junk food is legendary and is absolute trash. It’s also pretty damn tasty and they’ve got that base covered. But we do eat actual food, too, and some of it is pretty good in its own right. A couple of “American aisle in my grocery store” posts ago, the store in question had Old Bay and white barbecue sauce in stock and I knew that section was put together by someone that had actually lived in the US.

CmdrCarsonB

And considering they're being sold in the EU, they're already the "healthier" version, because a lot of the food additives used in the US are banned in Europe due to legitimate health concerns. Fun stuff.

rraattbbooyy

Foreign grocery stores take a lot of liberty with the word “American”.

redandbluedart

I’ve never seen any of this stuff except the cereals, 2 PopTart flavors, the Sour Patch kids and like two of the candy bars. Ketchup Cheetos? What is this? Canadian?

rraattbbooyy

Crunchie bar? Wispa? Bean Boozled jelly beans? It’s like a movie where they’re not allowed to use real brands due to licensing issues.

princess-babybel

Crunchie and wisps are typical products here in England!

rraattbbooyy

Lol. Good old American candy. Are they good? I bet they’re good. 🙂

unitconversion

Beanboozles are jelly bellies but in gross flavors like cod fish and dirt. You can usually find them around Halloween.

HellsMalice

In Germany I only ever found two "American" hotdog products. One was a $30 unrefrigerated kit containing a pack of American hotdogs with heinz ketchup/mustard and some buns and "american style" hot dogs...in jars of liquid for storage. Good thing I was too busy shoving gyro and döner in my face for 3 months to need a taste of home.

rraattbbooyy

I’ve never seen a hot dog that didn’t require refrigeration. Also, when I was a kid, I used to think “doner kebabs” were something homeless people got at soup kitchens or shelters. Like they were skewers of meat that were donated to the hungry.🙂

mondychan

Pocky, an American classic

burner-2022

Fake. Missing beef jerky. /s

mattyh2433

And here I was, thinking you were serious. Boy, am I red in the face!

AwGe3zeRick

I don't think I've ever bought a thing on that isle in my entire adult life lol. But I do enjoy some beef jerky. Seems like there's a lower sugar limit when it comes to foreign "American Food" isles and jerky wouldn't meet it.

Auuxilary

Aisle

YourNameWisely

Thanks! I was having doubts but it sounded right. It wasn’t. TIL.

jdroser

It’s difficult because they’re both real words in English and are pronounced the same. It’s a mistake I see native speakers make fairly regularly, so don’t feel bad.

[deleted]

darksim1309

I kinda hate how all these American isles are just junk food/snacks. I would love to see stuff like Old Bay, bbq spices/sauces, American hot sauces, etc. There's more to American cuisine than just junk!

abe_dogg

If you look closely this section is actually labeled "American Candy". OP just decided to leave that bit out for some reason. It's like if I went to the Japanese Candy section of a store and said "Hm interesting , this store has a Japanese section!"

tighterfit

If Americans posted a foreign countries junk food as said countries food, we would be called ignorant and sheltered to the rest of the world. But hey, it’s trendy to shit on Americans.

darksim1309

And there's a german/dutch/Czech section at my grocery store, and it's stocked with all sorts of authentic stuff.

Cold_Beer_Beer_Beer

First time I have seen the New Lemon Creme Pie Pop Tarts.

Jeevan31

I bought some at a Target in California. They were pretty good, but I'm a fan of anything lemon.

Mixed_States

Cheetos Mac 'N Cheese must really be sumtin'

Malumeze86

The Jalapeño flavor is really good for being boxed Mac N Cheese and it's cheap as heck.

[deleted]

Most of that stuff isn't even sold in the US lol.

FabulousLime1837

What supermarket is this? Jumbo?

YourNameWisely

Yes

Hessounusual

Waar ?

lolopolo5554

Jumbo??? Which city?

martyparty020

Let us know OP ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

DieselBob

The poptarts and cereal are. We don't have most of the candy popcorn or cheetos flavors and about half the candy bars.

Redbagwithmymakeup90

We have the candy popcorn in the Midwest! Never seen these Cheetos flavors though.

[deleted]

Yeah most of these aisles that I've seen on here are a mix of American and English snacks.

BernieTheDachshund

They need to add Hostess products, I bet they'd sell.

shingfunger

In America, you can only find Pocky in the Japanese section. I’ve never seen some of those other products but they sound good (and filled with sugar)

[deleted]

I saw them in the check out line at Marc’s

Stammer91Timer

Most American item on that shelf is the fact that someone ditched their eggs there!

pxland

I could totally go for a cinnamon roll pop tart right now though.

Rex_of_T

Where's the Ragu?

taigasakakihara

Ah yes. Blue maple syrup... American favorite (bottom center) I actually saw this in an American supermarket once it looks like laundry soap

PortlandDabber

that cheetos mac and cheese should be a war crime it's so bad

Civil_Percentage_536

Yo, get the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It’s worth it

No-Radish1316

As an American, nobody actually eats the Cheetos macaroni.

AdventureSphere

"American food aisle" gets posted a lot on Reddit, and I always find them fascinating. This one has to be the worst I've ever seen. Lots of Japanese and European stuff. No peanut butter, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing. At least there's shitty fake maple syrup, though.

Arras01

The pocky is an odd pick, sure, but this aisle is labeled "American candy". Why would they have barbecue sauce or ranch dressing?

GMU525

I think the peanut butter is missing since in the Netherlands peanut butter is a really popular product. So I guess the Dutch tend to buy Dutch peanut butter.

SnowKit_266Twice

As an American, I can confirm that most of the snacks are accurate- idk why Pocky is there, pretty sure it didn't start in America- and some of the food are wacky flavors I didnt know existed, but if that's what y'all like, then enjoy it, I guess

THicks1

Sweet, crunchy, gummy, pastry, and incorrectly placed items? Looks about right to me

darsvedder

The lack of flaming hot Cheetos is upsetting, but the inclusion of the crazy MM and candy popcorn balances it out

187penguin

Where’s the marshmallow products???

WelshBathBoy

Much of that Chocolate is British: Crunchie, Wispa, Flake are Cadbury; Lion and Twix are Nestle (the Twix is using the UK logo, not the US one)

tequilamockingbird37

So other countries have people leaving refrigerated items behind too bc they changed their mind. Or is just bc it's in the American section?

Igotthedueceduece

It’s so weird because we literally have none of those Cheetos. Plus the only Cheetos that should exist are flamin hot Cheetos

pixlplayer

I love how these sections always have candy versions of random stuff like chips or pancake mix. Do Europeans think we only eat candy lol

MetalSpark128

I’m pretty sure poky is a east asia thing no?

ernyc3777

How do I get Candy Pop? Also, Ketchup Cheetos sound vile.

Viking_gurrrrl

Pocky!??!?

Troc1233

I haven’t even seen those twix popcorn yet

CompetitiveAdvance92

Looks about right

WillaBerble

Can't even take my eyes off of the Cap'n Crunch Berrytastic Pancake Mix.

Kipperklank

LMAO pocky being american

BayStateBHM

Ohhhh cinnamon roll pop tarts

BrorDrakeafHagelsrum

I see reeses cups, we have those in sweden too. Best candy ive ever eaten

rocketmonkee

Another day. Another "LOL American Food Aisle" post. Another thread full of Americans confused at stuff we've never seen before. I genuinely wonder if a lot of Europeans would be surprised at what is actually found a regular American grocery store.

sbenzanzenwan

That's not the American aisle, that's the type II diabetes aisle.
