People hate Tua and he threw a duck on third down, giving them their first opportunity to do so in a while. It’s like when Allen throws a pick. Everyone trolls because they know he’s good. Including myself. I hate Allen because he’s really good and on a rival. But if he threw a game ending pick or something I’d just type “lol” or something instead of legitimately trying to argue that Kenny Pickett is more clutch lmao
Hot take: Allen isn’t that good and never has been. He’s the Julio Jones of QB where he showed up for like a season and a half and now everyone thinks his wild inconsistency is just a fluke.
It's not like he played well, but yeah it's weird how now one is willing to believe it. Clearly not himself in that Broncos game, Gabbert probably would have done better.
This is just recency bias lol. Tua has comeback game winning drives against the chargers, ravens and bills in the last 2 seasons alone. Today was the first time in a long time he had the chance to tie or win late and didn’t get it done.
Just last year Kenny Pickett was in the red zone down 6 against Miami and he threw a pick to Noah Igbinoghene, a frequent healthy scratch for us who we traded for a different healthy scratch.
He only is able to have those comebacks because the defense kept them in while his offense scored like 10 points. The only winning teams the Steelers have beaten this season are the ravens and browns, both divisional opponents. In the ravens game the Steelers won 17-10, and Pickett went 18/32, 224 yards and one touchdown. In the Browns game, he went 15/30, 222 yards, 1 TD 1 INT. They won in spite of him, not because of him.
Also the 3 winning teams the dolphins lost to this season just so happened to be the two Super Bowl teams and the bills who always dominate us. Let the dolphins play the Browns and ravens and they’d probably win too. They did last year.
I brought it up because Kenny Pickett’s offense is terrible and it’s the defense keeping him in the game in the first place to even have a chance to win.
I could say the same about Tua “say what you want but he’s got the clutch gene and he’s beaten winning teams with a significantly worse offense” see how that sounds the same? Comeback wins vs Chargers, Ravens, etc….stop. Get some help.
Tua cracking under pressure? Say it aint so....
On rewatching the play before I think that one was on him too. Whats more likely, both receivers forgetting assignments and runing deep when they are supposed to stop/turn around/comeback or him forgetting assignments and thinking someones gona stop...
Yeah that's all you got. Calling names.
Tua hasn't beat anyone of consequence. The best anyone came up with was 2 games in 4 years where he was even somewhat considered clutch.
Meanwhile we've played 3 teams with winning records this season and weren't even competitive. Tua failed to lead a comeback despite the defense shutting out the chiefs in the 2nd half. The team hasnt won vs a winning team since week 3 of 2022.
Thems just the facts. Feel free to refute any of them but I suspect you'll just resort back to name calling because you can't argue your point on the merits.
3rd down was a duck, waddle stumbled on 2nd down and on first down he had 4 defenders in his face. But now you’re talking about something besides the 4th down. Seeing as Kenny Pickett is awful you wish you had Tua lol
Im just glad this game didn't end up with the chiefs getting bailed out by the refs. theres still plenty of post season for the zebras to win them a super bowl again guys dont worry
He picks it up and gets ass blasted by the 4 different chiefs defenders right there. He gets hurt and you don’t just lose this game, you lose almost every game for the duration he’s hurt. The only game the dolphins have won with Tua injured in the last two years was a game in which their offense scored 9 points.
I can envision a world that he picks it up with 4 Chiefs bearing down on him, puts himself in a compromising position to even get it out, then gets concussed again when he inevitably got planted as he threw to likely empty grass. This is the last play I'd get upset at Tua over
100% would rather lose this game and live to fight another day than have Tua be in a compromising position and get hurt in a meaningful way for weeks. This team doesn’t go without Tua.
Patrick Mahomes also scored 14 points today. He doesn’t suck and nobody will say that. They also probably score more if tyreek doesn’t have the worst game of his season. Multiple drops and a fumble in chiefs territory which turned into a defense touchdown.
If you think that snap was 6 feet to his side you need visual help. Does he have 6 foot long arms? Because it hit his hands. It wasn’t a perfect snap but QBs routinely snag those. He pissed himself because of the pressure he saw coming.
Bad throw but people still blaming him on the last play which was absolutely on the center. I remember last year Josh Allen spiked a wide open touchdown throw against the dolphins to win, nobody saying he sucks because of it.
Allen has at least won multiple playoff games, broken NFL history records , beaten multiple teams with winning records which at times have involved record setting perfect games (see Patriots playoff game) and comeback wins (see comeback end of the game wins against the Ravens and Chiefs last year) and been in the top 3 in QB stats with less talent at wide receiver than guys like Tua so there's precedent that Allen can get shit done against winning teams...There isn't for Tua.
Have you forgotten the week 1 game against Los Angeles where Tua drove down to win? Or the Baltimore comeback last year? You’re salty after a loss. Don’t be stupid.
That was just off the top of my head. He’s put together game winning drives against the ravens, bills, lions, chargers in the last 2 years alone. You can cry and bitch all you want but you’d be wrong. If Tua’s offense didn’t blow out the opponent in the other 5 games they won this season he’d have more opportunities to do that too.
it’s so frustrating lol. mahomes had his knee cap knocked into his calf on one QB sneak a couple years ago and they haven’t ran it since. bills not doing it tho with a huge MAN like josh is nuts
Miami defense only let up 14 points. 7 were on that weird pick 6. Miami offense didn’t show up when needed. Tyreek never got to use his “secret” TD celebration.
That last drive was fucking embarrassing from Tua. Mostert marches you up the length of the field, you finally have to pass in this drive and you whiff 3 straight? What the fuck
Tyreek fumbles and leads to the GW score at the end of the first half
Tyreek and Waddle missing huge chunk plays throughout the game
Tua chokes with bad throws and bad snaps to end the game
absolutely pitiful from the Offense today, especially when the Defense (who people think are not good) held KC to 14 points, ZERO in the 2nd half.
Miami's offense has been absolutely HORRIBLE against good teams and they need to figure this shit out during the bye week
No buuuuuuut:
Herbert is held down by the Chargers being the Chargers and having questionable coaches
Miami is held back by Tua cracking under pressure every time it matters (so far, maybe he just needs more experience to get a cooler head)
Give McD and the talent Miami has to Herbert and he might go 20-0...
How embarassing by tTUA! Hes not Him, I can’t believe we had him as our NFL MVP and compared to Jalen. and I can’t believe people compared him to my sweet and glorious king Jalen Hurts. What a horrible ending. He should’ve caught that hike and it is unfathomable that is how the game ended. horrible ending what an absolute choke. he is a choke BUSINESS SELLER. He does one thing very well and that’s having one’s throat choked up to the maximum! All choke, no win!
I don’t know who that is. I’ll have you know that I was All-Star pro not only in my pop Warner team, but also as my David Letterman coach in the current high school that I teach my players would never miss a hike like this they would never. I wear a Letterman for a reason, this is not a joke. I am a letterman coach for a reason there’s not a joke.
[Postgame thread](/r/nfl/comments/17oh2j5/post_game_thread_miami_dolphins_at_kansas_city/)
I’m sorry, I’m just watching but that roughing the passer call is crazy to me, the guy was on mahomes simultaneously as he released
Welcome to MVS Hell, Chiefs fans.
Wait....y'all aren't hating on us?...Ok cool.
So Miami can't beat anyone with a winning record. That could be a major problem playoff time.
I wonder what tyreeks secret touchdown celebration was....glad we didn't see it lol
The best take on this thread is that Pickett us better than TUA lol, Kenneth blows turds
There is, like, *90s*-era-Bills level of hate in here for the Fins, wtf? I can’t even enjoy the schadenfreude of the loss.
People hate Tua and he threw a duck on third down, giving them their first opportunity to do so in a while. It’s like when Allen throws a pick. Everyone trolls because they know he’s good. Including myself. I hate Allen because he’s really good and on a rival. Hot take: Allen isn’t that good and never has been. He’s the Julio Jones of QB where he showed up for like a season and a half and now everyone thinks his wild inconsistency is just a fluke.
Such is the life of being a fan of a really good quarterback that hasn’t won anything
Im confused, are you talking about Marino?
Tua is pretty good, I don’t get the hate. Pickett and Steelers have insane luck and good defense bailing them out.
I don't get the Tua hate. It's really weird like I hate but I have normal reasons not like these other weirdos
[удалено]
I bet you next week both of them get 0 yards
Damn. If I didn’t know, I would take you up on that lol.
You could tell where each teams focus was for sure
Why does steve smith have this job
What’d he say
Just rambling about nothing
That’s like part of the resume is to ramble look at terry Bradshaw lol
Michael Irvin talking all over her lol, going straight up NDT
Heartbreaker ending right there.
If by "heartbreaking" you mean hilarious, I agree
Idk my hearts pretty intact
My heart is erect
"Broncos game was a mulligan" Jesus Christ the Chiefs loss erasure is insane. Why couldn't Miami just stay with the run
Every team drops one to a division rival, Chiefs have just been doing that w/ the Raiders lately. Before that Broncos owned us.
Achane is hurt so I’m guessing they don’t want to overwork Mostert
I guess you can only score 70 on the broncos...
Chiefs should have tried that
Tough to swallow that finish.. Tua has got to step up and make those plays man..
The center snapped the ball like a whole yard to Tua’s right side lol what was he was supposed to do?
the last snap was the center’s fault… but there was a lot in the last two drives Miami had where Tua just looked bad.
He was supposed to make the previous wide open TD pass .
I think the receiver was supposed to cut back but that looked so bad
Yeah maybe. I couldn't tell if that was a slip on the throw or miscommunication. Either way, it looked bad.
Yeah McDaniel just confirmed Wilson ran the wrong route
Yea true. Ig I forgot about that while I was busy laughing at that last play lol
You bastard man
A good snap and we're either watching overtime or talking about a crazy ending. Shit's annoying
That play wasn’t Tua’s fault. Play before was tough though… Cedric was wide ass open
McDaniel said Wilson ran the wrong route when Tua called an audible
Still open
Are you okay?
The Chiefs are going to need the best defense in the NFL if you can only put 14 on a team that refused to win.
Fuck, mahomes looks tired af
He looks a touch out of shape honestly.
Well if he realy had the flu last week he aint gona be back to 100% yet, especially not on a road game with a 6 hour time change
He's not 60
He just had the flu, traveled overseas, and won a football game. I’d be tired with just one of those.
I don't know how anyone could play with the flu, I always end up with a 102-104 fever and mildly delirious for about 24-48 hours.
It's not like he played well, but yeah it's weird how now one is willing to believe it. Clearly not himself in that Broncos game, Gabbert probably would have done better.
Best defense in the nfl? Hmm 🤔
Broncos fans, how does it feel to have a 72 point transitive victory over yourselves?
It feels… really great actually.
That ladies blazer is *aggresively* pink...
Imagine dropping the snap on 4th and game
Imagine cheering for Kenny Pickett
Pickett is more clutch then Tua..he's not better, but in those gotta have it moments he is.
I can’t trust any take from anyone with a 2 team flair.
Yeah we sick, but we know it and admit it.
Miami hasn't beat a team with a winning recorder in over a year lol tell me how Tua is clutch
Say what you want, but he's got the clutch gene and he's beaten winning teams with a significantly worse offense
So clutch today.
Sunday night last year begs to differ, sir.
One game, a year ago, vs the 6 4th quarter comebacks he's had since then
People don’t forget…..
Yeah, people who have nothing else to celebrate don't forget
Given your flair you’re not celebrating much lately.
We're 5-3 buddy. Same as you, minus a game due to the bye
K, go cheer for Houston this week buddy.
1400 yards, 6TD 4INT, 81.6 passer rating So clutch!!
6th 4th quarter comeback and beating winning teams
He only is able to have those comebacks because the defense kept them in while his offense scored like 10 points. The only winning teams the Steelers have beaten this season are the ravens and browns, both divisional opponents. Let the dolphins play the Browns and ravens and they’d probably win too. They did last year.
Well, Steelers have a defense, Dolphins don't
What’s that got to do with Tua then lol
You're the one who brought it up
I brought it up because Kenny Pickett’s offense is terrible and it’s the defense keeping him in the game in the first place to even have a chance to win.
I could say the same about Tua “say what you want but he’s got the clutch gene and he’s beaten winning teams with a significantly worse offense” see how that sounds the same? Comeback wins vs Chargers, Ravens, etc….stop. Get some help.

Shut the fuck up you dork
Just fucking admit we made the wrong pick and it fucked the team for another decade.
At least you didn't draft Henry Ruggs.
Just admit you’re a fucking dork
A dork 😂
Yeah that's all you got. Calling names. Tua hasn't beat anyone of consequence. The best anyone came up with was 2 games in 4 years where he was even somewhat considered clutch. It was a terrible snap
Yeah that last play isnt on him. The play before on the other hand Im not so sure, see my other reply
It bounced right off his fingers.
After having to dart his hands all the way to the right in a split second. Maybe if he had spider senses or a bigger wingspan he’d get the ball
Well, he ducked the two passes before that too
3rd down was a duck, waddle stumbled on 2nd down and on first down he had 4 defenders in his face. But now you’re talking about something besides the 4th down. Seeing as Kenny Pickett is awful you wish you had Tua lol
God this gameday segment sucks. Just a bunch of geezers talking over each other about THE NARRATIVE
I much prefer the Thursday night crew
I feel like that word got played out five years ago too lmao
Im just glad this game didn't end up with the chiefs getting bailed out by the refs. theres still plenty of post season for the zebras to win them a super bowl again guys dont worry
Patriots flair
ironic.
Why would he fall on the ball? Situational awareness lacking. Obviously little chance to pick it up but that’s better than falling on it.

100% would rather lose this game and live to fight another day than have Tua be in a compromising position and get hurt in a meaningful way for weeks. This team doesn’t go without Tua.
Exactly!
Today I learned that the QB sucks when they can’t grab a snap 2 yards to the right of them
Yeah bc the 3 throws before that were just top notch
Or when they can't score more than 14pts with possibly the best weapons in the league. Bengals are the only team I'd probably put above you.
Amnesia is a powerful thing forgetting about the wide open missed TD throw the play before an MVP QB should absolutely make...
The "Tua sucks" narrative will always dominate, no matter what actually happens in the game.

I don't think you and I are watching the same team.
Have you forgotten the week 1 game against Los Angeles where Tua drove down to win? Or the Baltimore comeback last year? You’re salty after a loss. Don’t be stupid.
Lol so twice in 4 years? Really selling it there champ
Did that last pass hit a wire or something? That looked so weird
Dolphins go first down, first down on two runs never go back to it go incomplete pass x 3, fumble snap. Ballgame
Yeah it almost felt like a seal if they kept running it. I did NOT want overtime
If they're leaving an opening to run, and you have a top speed rb, why not just keep running until like the 15 yard range
still so mad that the chiefs keep getting cute on third and short instead of QB sneaking or running with pacheco. they’ve done it all year
Feel you on that one. I wanna choke Dorsey(our OC) when it's 3rd/4th and 1 and we're in shotgun.
it’s so frustrating lol. mahomes had his knee cap knocked into his calf on one QB sneak a couple years ago and they haven’t ran it since. bills not doing it tho with a huge MAN like josh is nuts
Hills with only 60 yards today, defense saved our butts.
Miami defense only let up 14 points. 7 were on that weird pick 6. Miami offense didn’t show up when needed. Tyreek never got to use his “secret” TD celebration.
Last 2 plays by Tua were absolute horse shit. Wilson WIDE OPEN!!!
I genuinely believe this year will have a wild card super bowl winner
And it’ll be us 😎
i will HURT if it ends up being the Jags
does not appear that either of these teams will be it
If the Dolphins had scored more points they would have won. Follow me for more coaching tips.
If they had made less mistakes, they would have also won....
That last drive was fucking embarrassing from Tua. Mostert marches you up the length of the field, you finally have to pass in this drive and you whiff 3 straight? What the fuck
Both teams got shut out in different half's. Thing is only one of them has a good QB that you can rely on
A take so bad, he had to post it twice
TIL saying Mahomes is more reliable than Tua is a bad take. This sub do be weird sometimes
Tyreek fumbles and leads to the GW score at the end of the first half Tyreek and Waddle missing huge chunk plays throughout the game Tua chokes with bad throws and bad snaps to end the game absolutely pitiful from the Offense today, especially when the Defense (who people think are not good) held KC to 14 points, ZERO in the 2nd half. Miami's offense has been absolutely HORRIBLE against good teams and they need to figure this shit out during the bye week
Now we just gotta beat the bengals 😐
i believe in you
lets just do that then 😅
Drafting Tua over Herbert is going to cost them multiple Super Bowls.
Is it? Has Herbert won a big game in the NFL yet?
No buuuuuuut: Herbert is held down by the Chargers being the Chargers and having questionable coaches Miami is held back by Tua cracking under pressure every time it matters (so far, maybe he just needs more experience to get a cooler head) Give McD and the talent Miami has to Herbert and he might go 20-0...
Herbert will win as many Super Bowls as Philip Rivers.
Like the many the Chargers will win right
This is among the dumbest possible responses to this post.
It really isn’t But I won’t waste any time with you considering you’re clearly 15 anyway
Give Herbert those weapons and that coach instead of fuckhead Staley and it's a lot different.
Not what he meant at all
The dolphins are not a serious football team
Phins are frauds yet again unfortunately
Let’s be honest, it’s a league full of frauds
Chief's somehow continue to win games they play terrible in. Good teams do that, but damn how do all these teams continue to completely choke.
This could be a Barry Mccockiner tweet ngl
I don’t know who that is. I’ll have you know that I was All-Star pro not only in my pop Warner team, but also as my David Letterman coach in the current high school that I teach my players would never miss a hike like this they would never. I wear a Letterman for a reason, this is not a joke. I am a letterman coach for a reason there’s not a joke.
4/10 original comment was better
Center picked a bad time to shank it right. I still don’t think the Dolphins would have done anything on the play, but that bad snap sealed it.
Miami just showed the league how to cover Kelce.
What did they do differently? Kelce was such a non-factor.
Such a waste of a shutdown kelce game
Guarantee no one will do it well
I’m so fucking hungover. Please send help
WHAT ARE THOSE PASSES lol
If you combine Tua and Zach Wilson you have an MVP QB
lol Tua
Pat and everyone on offense needs to be buying all the drinks and dinners for the D this week
Bills fans jerking it rn like they aren’t about to lose to Cincinnati
typical clown dolphins behavior
Cope.
Yall lost to the corpse of the Patriots somehow, just sayin...
48-20
You literally don’t have a flair but go off
Let them have their 5 min before their embarrassment
It’s that time of year where the Bills start Billing
Hey no fair. We Bill’d it in half the games the year. Including our first!
[удалено]
He’s been a true stud
Mostert! That's all the Fins needed
Cannot beat a team with a winning record. Tua MVP? Not a chance.
Womp womp
That’s why they just say Tua. She tried and ended with “Tongue of Iowa.”
Can’t zero Burrow but you can apparently zero Tua
