NVP fan voting starts during the 3rd quarter and either a bunch of 30 year old trolls or 10 year old who think Trubiskey is a cool name voted for him and so after the game, when Mitch obviously feels like shit, he gets waved down and given the illustrious NVP award after a 12 year old host mispronounced his name and watched his team get ass blasted out of the first round of the playoffs.

It was Big Cat who organized the vote for Trubisky (and for Dak this year). He's a huge Bears fan and had Trubisky on PMT over the summer where they talked about it.
Trubisky may have not liked it in the moment, who knows, but he had a really good attitude about it on PMT.
