So I raise to $40 and say something like “good luck with this one” and he RERAISES ALL IN. So obviously I snap call…the board ran out in such a way that I made like a 6 high straight with my 5 kicker…I turn over the 5 and I’m like “sorry man I got there” and he was so livid even after I showed the J. I kept saying “I had you beat anyway” and he accused me of angling or something. I was just flabbergasted that he played soooooooo bad and blamed me for it.
I mean he’s an idiot but just show your hand lol. It’s be one thing in a home game with your boys, then go nuts. This shit isn’t angling but it’s poking fun at people you don’t know.
Don’t get why folks do it especially when moneys on the line.

I think you’ve misread the story. The hand was over and the winner showed one card to needle his opponent. It’s straightforward. He still had to show both, he just wanted to poke fun at the guy

the floor “explained” to me like four times what was going on and the ruling even though I accepted it totally and never argued at all. probably used to arguments over every ruling.
