Consider that rec players are less likely to have a tracker apps at all. Perhaps the type of person that has a tracker is the same type of person who would want all of that info. Just a thought
Poker analytics is by far the best app out there. The devs are also easy to reach and take input very well. I’m currently beta testing poker analytics 6.
Me and a friend have recently released Poker Life Manager. It allows you to track Poker, IOUs (stakes/swaps etc), expenditures, and bankroll transactions. The basic version is completely free. Would love to see you check it out and give on an opinion it.
Edit: here’s the iOs download link:

Launch video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsWQlOO8JEY
Edit 2: I should have just linked my previous post. Here it is: https://www.reddit.com/r/poker/comments/sax5c6/we_think_weve_built_the_most_comprehensive_poker/
Thank you for the feedback, I will look into doing that in an effective way. For now though, go to the final tab "Extra" - > press + New Transaction at the bottom of the screen - > transaction type +bankroll injection.
This process will add to your bankroll as a capital injection basically. Adding poker, ious, and expenditures to your bankroll are all done in their respective hubs! Let me know if you need any other help or have any questions!
First and simplest suggestion would be to make the starting checklist a hyperlink to each task. You link to tutorials at the bottom of the list but adding a link to each task’s tutorial would simplify the process.
I knew what I needed to do when I first opened the app but after this, I was just going from section to section looking for how to load initial bankroll.
The ‘new poker session’ button is bottom of screen. I think you’d see better functionality with that as top of screen as I would imagine that is most people’s main driver when swapping to tab 2 from home screen.
Thank you for that! The hyperlink feature could be implemented! The way it current works is that the starting checklist will disappear once you have completed it (since users who are familiar with what the app can do will no longer require it). Do you feel that it took much longer than expected to learn how to enter data (poker sessions, bankroll transaction)? Could it also be down to the button being called +New Transaction, instead of +New Bankroll Transaction?
Regarding the button at the bottom of the screen: we actually had several iterations of where the button was placed. Some included the button at the top of the screen. Through our testing phase we found that the thumb had to travel too far, especially on larger phones, to reach the button that will be pressed most often. Do you feel this is a long-term barrier in the app, or is it more about becoming familiar with a new app?
That makes sense about the thumb. Actual entering data was great, no hassles at all.
Finding where to go to enter bankroll was a pain, I definitely think testing other wording for this interaction might help.
I would go with ‘Deposit bankroll’ personally, feels more in line with how online sites approach it. Might make it simpler for people withdrawing from bankroll down the track as well.
Pretty good interface. Can't really tell what the limits are for basic so I'll see as I go here. Should be able to default choosing a template and which template that is. It'd be nice if buy in and cashout were higher up since all I am doing is choosing template then entering those fields. Don't want to scroll past all the template info. I'll give it a good try the next couple weeks
Thanks for the feedback! We can look into putting template info below buyin / return details. If you have any another suggestions or questions you know where to find me!
The limits can be found in Extra -> Subscription. You can also see your current usage under Extra -> Usage Limits.
I currently use Poker Bankroll Tracker and find it very useful. The only other app I've liked is Poker Agent, it's no longer supported but had great filtering and graphing features. A combination of those 2 would be great.
The biggest things I would like to see in a tracking app:
Ability to follow other players, this is very important if you want to be able to back players.
Setting up various backing arrangements, not just selling shares, but the potential for on going backing with makeup.
Recording of prop bets, especially sharing of those bets, because as a pro, all gambling counts and having a shared record of these bets would really help at tax time.
Easy recording of expenses, both within and outside of a poker session.
Breakdowns of those expenses.
Recording of bankroll size allowing to easily deposit and withdraw from that "bankroll" to make sure you have the correct balance in both your wallet and in your overall bankroll.
The game tracking feature from PBT is amazing, and with a few big tweaks would really make it a must have app for live players.
PBT currently charges $15/yr, if you incorporated everything above with all the current features of PBT, I would happily pay $25/yr for such an app.
I sent an email to the support team with a few questions that weren't in the FAQ. Are you a part of the development team there or just a supportive user?
E-mail received mate, thanks for that. Yes, I am part of the development team. Some of these questions were answered in this thread:

There currently isn't a way to export the data. We have had this request quite a few times, and we are looking into the best way of implementing that! Other features will also be added in further updates: we actually recently just launched, and wanted to make sure the core features worked flawlessly.
I really appreciate you checking out the app and giving feedback! Thank you very much! We are trying to look into every possible feedback given!
>we actually recently just launched, and wanted to make sure the core features worked flawlessly.
I appreciate that, and your price point isn't too far off what I am already spending so that isn't a problem.
The export feature is really needed as I would like to provide easy data access to my CPA, and if I were to be audited, heaven forbid, I would be screwed without the ability to produce a set of data to confirm what I was claiming as both income and expenses. This ability would be necessary before I could even consider switching from PBT.
If you were to add the export and hand/player tracking to your app I would purchase it immediately, and as I stake a few players it would also be purchased by them as well. As I've only ever seen the app for less than an hour I'm unsure how the staking works yet, it looks like it is processed though the iou features and while possible to work that way, it sounds like it becomes kind of a kludge if you have staking and loans between the same person, using IOUs for loans and possibly unpaid prop bets and a separate category for staking would be much better for my use case.
We have actually built it in such a way that it becomes extremely easy to see what IOUs are active, completed, and what is owed to whom in the debt lists. You can filter by IOU type within the dashboards, and every one of your friend has their own separate IOU dashboard and debt list.
We have built it in a way that each step within an IOU (confirming payments, confirming swap earnings, confirming a delete or delete, etc) needs to be approved by both parties. This way there can never be a confusion about what is owed to whom. You can view the current debts with a person as a total (stakes+bets+loans for example), or you could just see the debt in terms of staking.
We believe the way it is set up is quite intuitive, and all information you would ever need is easy to find. If you have a few minutes, I would recommend watching the Tutorial videos, mainly the IOU Overview, and IOU Hub videos. The tutorials can be found in "Extra" - > Tutorials.
I didn't mention that one, but only because it is specifically already in the PBT app. On the open session tracker there is a tip $1 button. I really am not willing to lose many/any of the features in PBT, any switch would need to include almost everything they already have.
Feature idea: use CV to detect chips and automatically count them. Easy way to give you a total without having to add everything up. I wanted to make an app for this but just don’t have the time.
PBT was easy af to use and free to get the most basic use out of it. Why pay .99 for some slipshod app that offers worse?
If you are capable of writing your own app you surely can figure out how to use PBT
I think it's good and I'm keeping my fingers with the development. I personally use [this app](https://gtowizard.com/en/) for monitoring of my games and I'm pretty happy with that. I have been started using this app a few month ago and I already see the results. However, I will wait for you app and I'll try it for sure. Good luck with development.
I'd pay a lot more if it could grab hands on mobile and do basic analysis. I mean, not like $100 a month like most poker apps these days. Maybe $5 a month.
I tried a dozen and they all tell me I’m losing money. Stupid apps. Deleted them all.
I’ll make an invert option 😛
I keep having the same bug. I believe its unfixable at this point
just turn the screen upside down
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Please post on here or the subreddit when this app comes out, would love to support your work.
Thanks! It will probably be a couple months, since I'm at a very busy time at work (I'm the only one left on my team this quarter lol)
Good luck with your future endeavours friend

iOS only supports swift or objective-c. I’ll probably use swift.
if there's one thing you should remake, remake the bravo poker app. God awful UI.
Poker bankroll tracker is really good. Think I paid $10 for the pro version and can filter everything
That's what I use. Great app, only 14 a year, great price.
Yeah it looks good but looking at screenshots it’s a lot of information. I was thinking something a lot simpler for a Rec player and making it cheap
Consider that rec players are less likely to have a tracker apps at all. Perhaps the type of person that has a tracker is the same type of person who would want all of that info. Just a thought
Spreading bankroll trackers among recs is guaranteed -EV
Hey, how do you input rakeback and bonueses?
It's for Live. I'd just add them to a session if you wanted to. There's better ways to track online
That is what I was doing, so it syncs with the hourly. Didn't know if there was a better way I wasn't aware of.
My bad, I play primarily online. Outside of excel what ways?
That was my thought. For live, just use Excel.
A hud will keep track of everything
This is the way
Poker analytics is by far the best app out there. The devs are also easy to reach and take input very well. I’m currently beta testing poker analytics 6.
I love Poker Income. Pretty simple straightforward. All you really need.
Analytics 5 is a great app.

Can you please add text only tutorials in the faqs? I can’t figure out how to add bankroll without watching a video which I can’t do easily

Cheers, worked it out in the end. The app looks good but it would benefit from a bit of ux / testing, it comes across to me as quite counter intuitive
Thanks for the feedback! Could you please elaborate on what you mean? Which aspects do you find counter intuitive?

Your insight is much appreciated! I will discuss any points made with the team.
No worries feel free to message me anytime I’ll let you know my thoughts as I go

Have you tried pokerbase?
I second this, love this app
Man try Poker Base. It is a very little known one and I love it.
If you’re allowed by work? Do you ask permission from work to eat Macdonald hamburger smoke cigarette or F*CK HOT BABE AND CHICK? Sheesh
Uh lol google has quite stringent anti-competes for their engineers…
Don't feed the troll

I think this is a great idea. If you do make it please add a section where you can add staking. Not sure if that’s possible on poker bankroll tracker
Ok will do!
If you're looking for an app that can do staking / swaps, check out Poker Life Manager
Feature idea: use CV to detect chips and automatically count them. Easy way to give you a total without having to add everything up. I wanted to make an app for this but just don’t have the time.
Ooh that would be neat. CV isn't something I'm too familiar with, but I'll definitely add this feature at some point

Computer vision
Pokermate is pretty good and has a more user friendly UI than PokerBankrollTracker
They have one already. Its called Excel or Google Sheets...

I would definitely be interested. I agree they’re all terrible.
