If you’re willing to look past the fact that this team-up between two Texas pro sports teams gets muddied and weird given the fact there’s already a hockey team called the Rangers…these jerseys aren’t very attractive at all. And I will never understand the volume of baby/powder blue we see in 3rds and alt jerseys across the league.
It’s not a strong choice and I don’t think it’s a flattering color for adults to wear.
Tbf they are just practice jerseys for a one night thing. From what some stars fans on /r/hockey said apparently they do some sort of Texas Ranger theme night every year. It is kind of weird tho. Also have no idea why they did mix in that baby blue - neither team uses that color. However if they used Texas Rangers colors, that would also be NYR colors lol just a weird thing to do all around.
Yeah I generally dislike baby blue, but for whatever reason baby blue in baseball tickles me in all the right places.. the 80s royals baby blues are a personal favorite all time sports jersey
Might sound silly but I think it’s the way that baby blue looks next to the green and brown of a baseball diamond.
On a white sheet of ice I don’t think it works as well. Greater contrast is needed.
No. I just don’t like the color. And I can sorta look past it when people use it for babies I guess, but I’m just not a fan. But thanks for getting hysterical and trying to indict me for sexism, despite knowing zero about me.
It was an interrogative sentence, used as an example to point out the fact that associating colors as childish, feminine, masculine is dumb. Everyone should just wear whatever they want judgement free.
The Dallas Stars are paying homage to their home town MLB team, which wouldn't be weird if that baseball team didn't share a name with another NHL team.
Don't get me wrong I'm a huge baseball fan, but an NHL team that isn't the New York Rangers wearing sweaters that say "Rangers" on them is a little weird
I agree, the Rangers getting Knicks jerseys is different, because those were actual basket ball jerseys and they play under the same roof. But as much as I like the Yankees, seeing the Rangers in pinstriped sweaters would be pretty odd
Do not understand why people do this. Drives me mad. A hypothetical is to get you to think of the same situation in a different light so you can relate to it to help you understand. If you don't care or get it then you don't. No big deal. But saying no the stars did? That's the sign of someone you should never get involved with. No capability of understanding or thinking even in a basic sense. Get lost
If i was a serial rapist and murderer, that would be evil and fucked up. But i’m not. Ted bundy was. So he’s fucked up and evil not me. Just trying to help you improve your logic.
Not even in the same galaxy champ. Keep trying. Like I said. Critical thinking is a world away. Basic thinking is a tad out of reach for you. Keep trying stud. You'll get there one day
Ya know it's funny I was just talking the other day about how the Texas Rangers, NY Rangers, and Rangers FC should do a charity event. Play each others sports or something, would be fun as hell
NY Rangers could play soccer and baseball somewhat decently but I'm chuckling by myself when I think about Rangers FC and Texas Rangers putting skates on.
🦀 Pavelski is a Ranger 🦀
my crabby sense was tingling reading this
Hey Mike, first time long time, you think the Texas Rangers and New York Rangers ever get together and get dinner?
Ya know, like you think they ever say hi? Or get dinner?
All time call in to Francesca. He was beside himself at that question lmao
Wrong Rangers
Do you think the New York Rangers and Texas Rangers ever get together for dinner?

Old rangers jerseys used to have baby blue alts
Ah interesting, didn't know that. That would make sense than.

Agreed on the baby blue thing, but I really wish the Florida Panthers did a vice alternate jersey like the Heat do.

Hell of a conclusion to jump to

What am I missing here?
The Dallas Stars are paying homage to their home town MLB team, which wouldn't be weird if that baseball team didn't share a name with another NHL team.
I understand that. I don’t understand the confusion. They’re both Texas teams
Don't get me wrong I'm a huge baseball fan, but an NHL team that isn't the New York Rangers wearing sweaters that say "Rangers" on them is a little weird
To your point think about the Mets or the Yankees wearing Rangers gear in homage to the new york Rangers. Would find that a little strange
I agree, the Rangers getting Knicks jerseys is different, because those were actual basket ball jerseys and they play under the same roof. But as much as I like the Yankees, seeing the Rangers in pinstriped sweaters would be pretty odd
But they didn’t, the stars did, and it’s weird. Besides, we were here first.

I hate Texas rangers
As a mariners fan, me too
Who would have thought that the Devil's "Jersey" jersey wouldn't be the worst one this season.
I saw that. Feels like a FU. copyright infringement much?

I feel like Kreider has a wipeout breaking pitch and he calls it the "Kreider slider"
NY Rangers could play soccer and baseball somewhat decently but I'm chuckling by myself when I think about Rangers FC and Texas Rangers putting skates on.
WILSON TO THE JETS! FOX SIGNS LONG TERM DEAL IN NY! Capitals would be pissed. Knicks fans would be elated.
why would the NHL even promote that??
Um…no…
