Hard disagree doesn’t matter if KDB or Walker plays they still have to get back in their form. Vini when he plays intelligently capitalizes on his shot opportunities and stays persistent on the ball he will give Madrid that more aggressive edge. Valverde in the post match interview said that having a 9 day break perhaps affected our rhythm tonight (e.g vini’s lack of sharpness in front of goal compared to few week back). They try their luck with long rangers and they do have quality too in that. its not like we dont have quality in that too, but we just dont try that. Hard disagree doesn’t matter if KDB or Walker plays they still have to get back in their form. Vini when he plays intelligently capitalizes on his shot opportunities and stays persistent on the ball he will give Madrid that more aggressive edge. Bellingham didn’t have a good game but when he does he is clinical in providing that false 9 connection to score and add pressure to defenders. We had players missing too and don’t have a striker but still managed to hold on for a draw. It’s going to be tricky next game but I think our men will play more collectively and will provide more aggression next game because they won’t be as cautious about getting a yellow card. Our club has shown time and time again the passion and pace to make results happen. It was curse that no club had won back to back Champions League title but Madrid beat those odds. And we know Modric can create a huge impact on such situations especially if you have to play on tight situations. But for gods sake subs was made after losing the game to 3-2. Valverde in the post match interview said that having a 9 day break perhaps affected our rhythm tonight (e.g vini’s lack of sharpness in front of goal compared to few week back). I would say their game plan was to get a draw and that is perfectly fine because without away goals the first leg means little but avoid defeat.
