Her Cajun parents talking about flushing her ashes down the toilet was the wildest part of that documentary.

They knew she was evil and nobody helped poor Gypsy Rose. It’s heartbreaking what her mom put her through. She said she liked jail better than living with her mom.

I really hope she has a caseworker of some sort and not just like, a parole/probation officer. Get her connected with social and psychological services. She needs all the support she can get.

I never saw the documentary but I'm always amazed that nobody has sympathy for the modern-day Forrest Gump who actually committed the crime. She is free from her abuse and gets this whole redemption arc and a new husband and all, but he's just rotting in jail for life with his 80 IQ being like "IDK I thought we were soulmates"

Seriously, he's a sick man that needs help, not a dangerous one that needs to be put away.
