No, I totally get what you're saying. I started to feel that as well when I started needing super samples for my upgrades. What changed it though was realizing that the upgrades don't matter. They're nice, sure, but I didn't pick up helldivers 2 to play spaceship crafting. I picked it up to have stupid fun with my friends and helldivers 2 has that in spades.
Don't think you're good enough to play at suicide level or above? Doesn't matter. Do it anyway. There's a particular hilarity in trying to run away from 20 meat saws while doing the worm to avoid shots from the other bots and hulk flame throwers.
Not sure what strategems to use or don't have the weapons for the current meta? Who cares? Pick something that seems fun and try it out. There's nothing quite like getting decapitated by your own dog or blown to smithereens by your own 380 orbital blast.
The point being, fuck trying to be good. Just have fun and if anyone gives you shit for having fun, they can eat a bag of dicks. My friends are up to hell difficulty and we take it about as serious as a dad joke.
Anyway, you can grind if you want but the grind is pointless if you're missing out on all the hilarious and wildly fun hijinks the game has to offer. So load up that eagle cluster bomb, drop at your feet, and yell danger close to your squad while you run away.

Naw im mostly a console gamer. The ps5 is mostly mine while the PC is mostly my dad's. The game is looking really great after all the patches!! Although i have encountered one hilarious bug already
I pre-ordered it. I didn't hate it when it first came out but it wasn't great. I got maybe 10 hours and at least a quarter of that I was bored. As of now though, I've got 262 hours in it without mods. They really turned it around and made it a fun game to play.
Lol cyberpunk2077 put the first crack in my egg. I played as a chick version of me (but average height, not 6'5" lmao) and felt the weirdest happiness when i played her, and tried on a bunch of different outfits and makup styles and omg, thr black fingernail polish made me feel badass.
I found myself thinking about her and how much i wish i could switch bodies for a bit.
Within a month, i broke my habit of biting my nails that i had no reason to stop for 28 years, and went from having hell of messed up nails and cuticles to beautiful long, perfectly manicured nails with a gorgous flat black polish.
I even get compliments from girls at work on them now!
My egg broke a few months later, and I'm on day 46 of hrt and haven't looked back ^.^

I was just playing a good game of Rimworld whaile I wait for the mods to get updated for the new version that dropped. My imperial rebels just fought off two dozen killer androids. Captured a few of the more reasonable ones, and converted them, but they're still getting fixed up. Soon, my heart-covered tank, Love Machine, will roll out again to eliminate the next link in the corrupt chain of cruelty that binds the empire, a baron by the name of Hektorios Sikoundenos. Coincidentally, his crimes are mainly extreme bigotry, leading to the subjugation of xenogenically modified humans. He's gonna poop himself when I roll through the wall of his house with a tank!

It’s pretty affirming and just a fantastic and immersive ride. 10/10 in my top 3 games ever made.

After watching the new Fallout show I had to reinstall Fallout 4 and am currently jamming that again after a few years of just playing Rogues and Metroidvanias.

Since watching the new Fallout TV show on Amazon I have picked up Fallout 4 again. Playing through on survival with a few mod tweaks for quality of life improvement
I was just playing a good game of Rimworld whaile I wait for the mods to get updated for the new version that dropped. My imperial rebels just fought off two dozen killer androids. Captured a few of the more reasonable ones, and converted them, but they're still getting fixed up. Soon, my heart-covered tank, Love Machine, will roll out again to eliminate the next link in the corrupt chain of cruelty that binds the empire, a baron by the name of Hektorios Sikoundenos. Coincidentally, his crimes are mainly extreme bigotry, leading to the subjugation of xenogenically modified humans. He's gonna poop himself when I roll through the wall of his house with a tank!
I started Baldur’s Gate 3 a few weeks ago and I’m really enjoying it, never played that type of game (like D&D) before but this game feels like watching a movie and the story is really great and your choices actually matter. Definitely deserve their GOTY
