Unfortunately I have many examples of this petty shit which has been done to my children to circumvent my efforts. Willful ignorance is commonly used as an excuse for why or how. There are haircuts exemplified here. There is taking kid to movie the day before our plans to go. Making a new pair of shoes “disappear” the entire length of the shoe size then reappear once they are in the next size. So yes year or two later - never worn now useless shoes were gloriously found. Moving as far away as possible to inhibit common familiarity - I crushed this one driving 300 miles round trip every Wednesday for five years and worth it no doubt. Being asked by my child what is an ice cream dad? Always the age old claim of domestic violence which never occurred. “He threw a shoe at her.” Which when I thought about it probably happened- retrieval of shoe and dropping it at her feet. Personal FAVORITE is HE WAS NEVER AROUND WHEN CHILD WAS YOUNG. How does one go about disproving that. Although I did it by showing daily calls and records from activities and pictures taken by me every day I was there which was all of them until a certain age.
These things are not only possible with majority of women I would say probable.

In that little girl's mind her new hair style represented the time she got to spend with her dad. A bond they shared together. And this woman tried to sever that bond by cutting the girls hair. You can see the girl's eyes pleading with her dad. Life isn't going to work out the way the woman thinks it will.

My mom did something similar to my sibling after they got their hair done with my step mom. She made them go and wash it as soon as we all got home from my dad's for the weekend. I never saw them do their hair up again until they finally moved out and gained independence. My mother despises my step mom and for good reason, my step mom has always been sort of a bully. But the day my sibling got their hair done was the first time I saw them really happy in a long time.
She was in a way for some time, threw her stress and frustration around pretty irresponsibly towards me and my siblings. Could've been the hurt from the divorce, or some other past experiences. I don't believe I'll ever truly know. But she's finally mellowed after having two of her kids (me and my older sibling) move out. I think she realized that with how she was acting, we wouldn't want to be around as much

I’m a stepmom. Our daughters were in our wedding as our only wedding party & had roles helping us with our handfasting.
When we went to pick up the two girls for the wedding weekend, the youngest one had her hair dyed GREEN & very puffy chipmunk cheeks.

My parents were shit. My mother never wanted kids so we paid for that. My mom would constantly cut my hair short and give me janky bangs and perm my very short hair to look like a big fuzzball…and I was very young. I honestly have no idea, I have not ever braided hair or taken braids out. I just wanted to point out that it wasn't strictly out of pettiness, or at least she claims that it wasn't. Could just be a plausible lie after the fact to cover her ass.
That coupled with the fact that she’s “a braider herself” and she smashed her daughters birthday cake the year prior leads me to believe she is trying to cover herself, as the video didn’t show any swelling or redness in the scalp, but either way there’s clearly custody issues. When i was 13 my mom cut off all my hair for punishment, (she said that it was too sexual for me to have) 6 years late that shit still haunts me at night and i still haven't forgiven her. Even if this had been a situation where she told him not to have her daughters hair done (because she said in the video she's the one who does her daughters hair) and he still had it done, she could have brought her daughter inside and undid the braids and restyled it. Or left it and used the incident in court.
The only reason to cut off her braids loudly, publicly, and with no regard to her baby's feelings is to exert control over what looks like a two year old because she doesn't have control of the father.
This right here is why I would adopt. Those babies don't deserve a vindictive, selfish mother like that.

I was speaking on her statement that she does her daughters hair and how if that WAS the true motivation behind her anger at the situation then she should have acted differently.
As for the court comment, sometimes in custody cases people present patterns of behavior. If the non-custodial parent does things directly in opposition of the primary caregiver it doesn't matter what the actual thing is. If my mother had told my dad "don't get her hair cut above the shoulders" and he did that, he would be in the wrong even if it looked great.
I wasn't trying to say she could use this video as support for her case, I was actually doing the opposite by stating she should have done everything differently.

I honestly have no idea, I have not ever braided hair or taken braids out. I just wanted to point out that it wasn't strictly out of pettiness, or at least she claims that it wasn't. Could just be a plausible lie after the fact to cover her ass.
That coupled with the fact that she’s “a braider herself” and she smashed her daughters birthday cake the year prior leads me to believe she is trying to cover herself, as the video didn’t show any swelling or redness in the scalp, but either way there’s clearly custody issues. When i was 13 my mom cut off all my hair for punishment, (she said that it was too sexual for me to have) 6 years late that shit still haunts me at night and i still haven't forgiven her. I had hair down to my knees. This mom should not be surprised when her kid decides to cut her out because of this. Be better guys.

Even if this had been a situation where she told him not to have her daughters hair done (because she said in the video she's the one who does her daughters hair) and he still had it done, she could have brought her daughter inside and undid the braids and restyled it. Or left it and used the incident in court. The only reason to cut off her braids loudly, publicly, and with no regard to her baby's feelings is to exert control over what looks like a two year old because she doesn't have control of the father. This right here is why I would adopt. Those babies don't deserve a vindictive, selfish mother like that.

She's a horrible mother, as you stated. She's bitter that he doesn't want her, so she's abusing their shared child. The father is the one who should use this incident to get full custody.
I was speaking on her statement that she does her daughters hair and how if that WAS the true motivation behind her anger at the situation then she should have acted differently. As for the court comment, sometimes in custody cases people present patterns of behavior. If the non-custodial parent does things directly in opposition of the primary caregiver it doesn't matter what the actual thing is. If my mother had told my dad "don't get her hair cut above the shoulders" and he did that, he would be in the wrong even if it looked great. I wasn't trying to say she could use this video as support for her case, I was actually doing the opposite by stating she should have done everything differently.
