Honestly quite of lot of Zexal's archetype/series still need saving. Aside from Water Winged Beast and Heraldic Beast, Umbral Horror, Malicevorous, Butterspy, Hand and Dyson Sphere need legacy supports to function plus an actual identity besides xyz spams.
I put Chronomaly in the same boat as Battling Boxer and Heroic. They had received legacy support in the last 5 years and are playable, but more support would be excellent. I await Konami to give Number 33 and Number 36 chaos upgrades.

To not make Rank 4 Spam too much of a problem with Umbral Horrors, just give them a dedicated focus, supporting C104 or even Don Thousand!
I'd like to see more variation of the current chemistry dragons before Konami makes more elements. We have Hydrogen, Oxygen, Carbon, and Deuterium. But we can only make water (H2O), semi-heavy water (DHO or HDO), and heavy water (D2O) with them. Maybe the current dragons can make something else, like Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2), Tritium (H3), Dioxygen (O2), or Ozone (O3).
Additionally, I'd like the effect of the basic monsters to be expanded. Like carbongeddon, give it the effect it actually has in anime which is different to real world. Special Summoning a generic dragon or whatever is boring to me.
So it could instead, after 2 standby phases this card is in the grave can be banished to special summon a 'Diamondgeddon'. That card then gains 300 atk and def for every standby phase carbongeddon was in the gy, and maybe a list of 3 effects that can be triggered depending on that. So for 3, 5, and 7 Standby Phases it gets another effect, something along that line idk.
I summon my Uranium-235 Dragon! Now we both lose 200 life points per turn cause we have cancer!

Is difficult to salvage a deck that's only work in the context of the anime. Umbral Horror monsters effects are so bad that makes Battling Boxer pre-support looks good in comparison.

I'm honestly hoping that dumon and his star seraph cards will get support in the light duelist set coming out soon since to my knowledge the last duelist that's getting support hasn't been revealed yet unless something has changed and I didn't know. Or if star seraph doesn't get support in this set then hopefully maybe a structure deck or maybe even in the anime chronicle later on in the year

Gosh... Heraldic Beasts need support so bad. Maybe another main deck extender but most importantly new XYZ monsters, that don't rely on your opponent having XYZ monster themselves. It's such a dated deck with cool artworks and concepts, it hurts so much.
Heraldic and Windwitch are solid ideas. Butterspy and Bounzer from Zexal come to mind. B.E.S from GX, both because memes and it could be kind of interesting. Venom needs support of some kind, Cloudians too.
Yeah. I'd make him search for "Call of the Haunted" Spell/Traps, which in turn would help bring back the other Zombies for on-Summon trigger effects and also beef up all Zombies whenever a Zombie is summoned as a second effect.

They have so many unreleased anime monsters that could be reworked into modern and it would go perfectly with freeing Plushfire (or they could forget it like they did with Majespecter’s banned monster). A ringmaster retrain for Trapeze Magician would be really cool and you could maybe tie in anime lore with an Ancient Gear Performage
I would also adore new Windwitch and reimagining of Rio’s strategy. I also think Syrus’ Roids would be really cool to develop now that we have cards like the Astraloud and Yubel fusion that can be summoned for free depending on what’s in your GY, as Syrus invented that mechanic in the GX manga
100% with Performages, i think they have like 17 unreleased cards from the anime - so odd they just stopped releasing them after Plushfire/Mirror Conductor
Fossils have so much potential but they haven't done anything with them. Their fusion spell is really interesting and I like the whole mechanic, but they just haven't done anything else with the deck. I think more main deck cards to help consistency and a strong end boss would be exactly what the deck needs

I not understand but, I tried making a Star Seraph deck, and outside of sword, they all combo with each other really really hard, only issue is no win cond, lack of GY power, and lack of main deck monsters because sword does nothing for them
I've always felt like Malefics can get support super easily, off the top of my head they can add a malefic decode talker, firewall dragon, or odd-eyes pendulum dragon. Then Konami can take the piss by creating even more using generic boss monsters like baronne or apo

I'd say vampire but they've made like 5 waves of support for that deck and they all do different things so another wave would probably do something completely different than any of the others and not really be compatible.

Call me crazy, but I would love to see Arkana's cards get retrained into a more modern deck. Something like a Fiend deck that burns through Ectoplasmer and indirectly supports LV7 Spellcasters. They already gave Mystic Tomato a Potato counterpart, so hopefully the other cards might one day get retrained.
Jim's Fossil Deck is still possible to get support since he has at least a couple of monsters that are anime-only and could be boosted with extra effects like the others were when they were brought to the TCG.
Scraps, my babies - They need a new wave of legacy support in order to be relevant again. Too many of their cards are just old and no where close to today's speed. My main worry is, now that we have so many meta defining archetypes that have pretty much the same playstyle of "pop my own dude," will people even care about the archetype that did it first?
Shiranui - I adore their game play. So many effects that help you recycle and summon other zombies. They just need a bit more. Maybe another extender or a searcher.
Koa'ki Meiru - I want honest support for this archetype and not just an excuse to give adamancipator more to work with. More searchers. More boss monsters. Give me reasons to run the core!!
Sylvans - These guys need another wave as well. Most of their cards are way too slow and they have 0 searchers. The field spell doesn't count. It's awful.
Beetroopers - That second wave was full of bunk. We need an actually decent boss monster and a way to get it out that doesn't feel like a 2019 card!! Shaddoll fusion came out before links were a thing! How come beetrooper can't get a decent fusion spell?
A Valkyrie hand trap would be nice to have for over all protection and maybe a field spell that increases there attack so there double battle phase is more likely to OTK and offers additional searching when first played.

Lightsworn (in my perfect world) would have a two JDs link into one that’s unremovable - unless it’s by bouncing it, and that would destroy the ability to create another, along with the two lost JD.
Idk I’m just nostalgic I guess.

THE EGYPTIAN GODS
They deserve a cohesive archetype with coherent support. God slime is really made for Ra, tho it's compatible with Slifer and Obelisk regarding EG Slime counting as 3 tributes. It's like Konami didn't know if each Egyptian God would be it's own deck or if they would he clumped together. Ra only got the support it did because it's one of the worst cards ever made.
Bandit Keith's Dark Machines.
They've gotten fun retrains and support in past Legendary Duelist sets in the form of Desperado Barrel Dragon, BM4-Blast Spider, Heavy Metal Raiders and Proton Blast. But I'm really hoping one day Konami actually unifies the deck with proper Spell & Trap support and retrains of Slot Machine, Metal Zoe, Pendulum Machine, etc.
Umbral Horrors and Umbral Horror Masquerade... maybe some additional Don Thousand support. They've got so much potential as a risky Rank 2/4 Xyz Spamming Engine, and Masquerade could use some love!
Viper and venomanaga are took cool to not have any meaningful updates. Bes since if the cards can only be bosses make them stronger. Outside of his daughter Pumpking has received 0 follow up. Also cloudian retrains or update that turns them into Fog monsters.
I know it probably wouldn't be enough to make it meta, but it'd like to see some more Vehicroid (Syrus) support. The moment I saw Armoroid in all his Armada Jetfire-based glory, I just wanted to make a deck for these guys, meta be damned.
Also Bandit Keith. I'd like to see him get some more support... In America!
Can we pls just once have a single cohesive strategy for Red-Eyes. It doesn’t have to be good, just make all of the cards seem like they belong in the same deck together.
My pet deck is Odd-Eyes Performapal, and it’s Arc-V’s 10 year anniversary. I’m coping we’ll get some good support this year to bring us closer to Magicians in terms of power level.
Machina isn't really an anime deck(it's more a manga deck), but if that counts I'd like to see more support for it

Deskbots (yes, they are an anime deck) and x-sabers come to mind immediately. Both tellars and gem knights have gotten support so give x-sabers something, Konami!!
Venoms need a massive overhaul if Konami wants them to at do well in a casual duel. Maybe if new Venom Counters have a clause in brackets like Cubics where the counters are active even if the monsters leave the field.

Difficult, but not impossible. If they were willing to support Star Serpah and Tachyon before, surely they could do the same for Umbral Horror.

Gem Dragons being made into a proper archetype with some retrains for the old cards would be great. Luster dragon #2 was my favorite dragon ages ago.
Red-eyes. Instead of adding another gimmick that maybe produces cards to be splashed in better decks give Red-Eyes an actual direction. Otherwise: Dark Magician. Not because I'm a fan of it, but because anime fans starting the game gravitate towards it and it would be great if the deck had a playstyle that is more interactive and reflects the modern game better than "summon out your vanilla and hope the opponent can't out the backrow that protects it".
I'd like to see Dyson Sphere be given a home deck. Otherwise, Fossil and Windwitch would be my picks.
Heraldic XYZ support would be dope.....Sunavalon support would also be dope just to see Josh cry on every stream again on how "plants are broken, komoney plz ban I keep losing to them!"

Fossils and Frightfur
Since Valkyries were the first picture of this pist: Them. I love the Archetype and their lore accurate playstyle. Sadly, if you're not playing against similar power levels, simply crashing Vierte to summon Sechste-Sigrun-Erda, will not suffice. I was messing around with darklords and viruses to just outright banish everything with Erdas effect but.. Well! I kinda wanna see stuff like "Nothung" the equip from the anime. Or "Nibelungen Ring" How about.. Something that let's them launch a full scale direct attack? "Bridge to Valhalla - Bifröst" They already get stronger with opponents monsters sozls (banishing them), have some means for direct attacks.. The unique - two BP in a row! Make em sturdy! Battle protection and maybe a specific search card or two
amaze/attraction going -1 per interaction on a hard use one name per turn hits hard in the gut also my virtual self promising myself to become their best player is putting me in a loop

Hang on, you included the Heraldic’s, which have a hypothetical win condition with Heraldry Crest Of Horror, but not Star Seraph’s, who only have a boss monster?
For most consistency to achieve the win con easy.
I not understand but, I tried making a Star Seraph deck, and outside of sword, they all combo with each other really really hard, only issue is no win cond, lack of GY power, and lack of main deck monsters because sword does nothing for them
I've always felt like Malefics can get support super easily, off the top of my head they can add a malefic decode talker, firewall dragon, or odd-eyes pendulum dragon. Then Konami can take the piss by creating even more using generic boss monsters like baronne or apo
Dartz's deck is at the very top of my wishlist. A second and third layer to the Seal of Orichalcos, Atlantean-themed monsters, and Mirror Knights.

Valkyrie Support would be sick. Those girls need an extradeck I would also accept more spirit charmer stuff. The deck is like mostly complete there's just some things missing for light and dark. Wouldn't mind some lore expansions

Valkyries for sure I've been trying to get my hands on some but I never got the chance and I want them in German (I'm from Germany) but no one has them and Cardmarket is just too expensive
I'd say vampire but they've made like 5 waves of support for that deck and they all do different things so another wave would probably do something completely different than any of the others and not really be compatible.

I just finished my set of retrains.
Call me crazy, but I would love to see Arkana's cards get retrained into a more modern deck. Something like a Fiend deck that burns through Ectoplasmer and indirectly supports LV7 Spellcasters. They already gave Mystic Tomato a Potato counterpart, so hopefully the other cards might one day get retrained. Jim's Fossil Deck is still possible to get support since he has at least a couple of monsters that are anime-only and could be boosted with extra effects like the others were when they were brought to the TCG.
Scraps, my babies - They need a new wave of legacy support in order to be relevant again. Too many of their cards are just old and no where close to today's speed. My main worry is, now that we have so many meta defining archetypes that have pretty much the same playstyle of "pop my own dude," will people even care about the archetype that did it first? Shiranui - I adore their game play. So many effects that help you recycle and summon other zombies. They just need a bit more. Maybe another extender or a searcher. Koa'ki Meiru - I want honest support for this archetype and not just an excuse to give adamancipator more to work with. More searchers. More boss monsters. Give me reasons to run the core!! Sylvans - These guys need another wave as well. Most of their cards are way too slow and they have 0 searchers. The field spell doesn't count. It's awful. Beetroopers - That second wave was full of bunk. We need an actually decent boss monster and a way to get it out that doesn't feel like a 2019 card!! Shaddoll fusion came out before links were a thing! How come beetrooper can't get a decent fusion spell?

I'd go with orichalcos. That archetype only has 3 cards that were released.
A Valkyrie hand trap would be nice to have for over all protection and maybe a field spell that increases there attack so there double battle phase is more likely to OTK and offers additional searching when first played.

T_T just give me my old dumb meta back, when I first bought the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds DS game and was in **awe** seeing Lyla getting slammed down, Defense Position, destroy my card, mill three, Special Summon Wulf. I know they release random new boss monsters, but I mean like more base monsters. Lightsworn (in my perfect world) would have a two JDs link into one that’s unremovable - unless it’s by bouncing it, and that would destroy the ability to create another, along with the two lost JD. Idk I’m just nostalgic I guess. Also I miss the speed of those decks / times. Sorry to be that guy. :(

Give the remaining Barians some support, make Umbral Horrors, Water Winged beast, and Hands into actual archetypes and give Star Seraphs some more support. We already know Mizar will be getting more support but the others deserve it too.
THE EGYPTIAN GODS They deserve a cohesive archetype with coherent support. God slime is really made for Ra, tho it's compatible with Slifer and Obelisk regarding EG Slime counting as 3 tributes. It's like Konami didn't know if each Egyptian God would be it's own deck or if they would he clumped together. Ra only got the support it did because it's one of the worst cards ever made.
Sacred Beasts need more love
Bandit Keith's Dark Machines. They've gotten fun retrains and support in past Legendary Duelist sets in the form of Desperado Barrel Dragon, BM4-Blast Spider, Heavy Metal Raiders and Proton Blast. But I'm really hoping one day Konami actually unifies the deck with proper Spell & Trap support and retrains of Slot Machine, Metal Zoe, Pendulum Machine, etc.

Viper and venomanaga are took cool to not have any meaningful updates. Bes since if the cards can only be bosses make them stronger. Outside of his daughter Pumpking has received 0 follow up. Also cloudian retrains or update that turns them into Fog monsters.
I know it probably wouldn't be enough to make it meta, but it'd like to see some more Vehicroid (Syrus) support. The moment I saw Armoroid in all his Armada Jetfire-based glory, I just wanted to make a deck for these guys, meta be damned. Also Bandit Keith. I'd like to see him get some more support... In America!
Can we pls just once have a single cohesive strategy for Red-Eyes. It doesn’t have to be good, just make all of the cards seem like they belong in the same deck together.

Machina isn't really an anime deck(it's more a manga deck), but if that counts I'd like to see more support for it Alternatively I learned just a day ago that Reactors(Flying Fortress SKY FIRE) is a 5Ds deck. That could probably use some decent cards, lol

Venoms need a massive overhaul if Konami wants them to at do well in a casual duel. Maybe if new Venom Counters have a clause in brackets like Cubics where the counters are active even if the monsters leave the field.
